  112. I find some of it relatable as I'm from a similar background in which I've been a victim of and witnessed abuse from people in the same position/etc.
  113. It's not a good thing and it can be a huge blow to your confidence/self-worth.
  114. Not to mention traumatizing to witness.

  139. It could be years. A life time.

  141. Our experiences become a part of us. They shape us. They teach us. We can't erase them, but we can choose how to approach them.

  152. So im sick home

  154. Smoke a cigarette
  155. Eat a bowl of cereal
  156. Maybe game sometimes
  157. Clean up the room day to day
  158. Watch youtube videos
  159. Eat
  160. Smoke some weed a few days a week
  161. Lay in bed most of the day
  162. I try to get out
  163. But i cant slways
  164. My sleeping schedule is fucked
  165. So soon i need strong sleeping pills again

  234. I see. Honestly. Up until recently I was in the same boat and to an extent I still am.
  235. I make sure to force myself to leave the house on a day to day basis now, even if it's only for 1-3 hours.
  236. I usually go to the gym, or to the pool, or to the library. Just somewhere where I'm not going to be trapped inside with my thoughts.
  237. If you find something productive to do, like doing something physical like exercise, or a sport, or even if you're just reading somewhere/learning/etc, you're improving your mind and body, while taking your mind off of negative impulses.
  238. If you tire yourself out on a day to day basis, it's hard to think about such things too.

  288. For me, and this is a daily thing, I do my best to try and understand how I'm feeling while I'm going about my business.
  289. I question my thoughts, my feelings, and I challenge them.
  290. It's a constant process.
  291. Like, instead of thinking
  292. "I want to hurt myself. I don't want to feel like this. I want this instead."
  293. I stop and think
  294. "Why am I doing this? Why is this happening to me?"
  295. And I focus on those thought processes instead.
  296. Answers can take a while to find but they're inside all of us.
