Making friends

A Spladoosh squatted in front of the entrance. Spatters and Sweepers wriggled through the chamber. Mickey studied the situation wondering what he should tackle first.
If you can't beat 'em, he decided, make 'em join you!
He coated the unsuspected Spladoosh with paint before the Blotling knew what had hit it.
"Okay, you're on Team Mickey now!" Mickey said to the Spladoosh. "Now go keep those Blotlings away from me!"
The Spladoosh lumbered away. The Blotlings scurried toward it, and Mickey took his position.
