  ↪ in the simplest words, yeeun is an oddball. she finds amusement in the simplest (and cutest) things. give her a video of a panda sneezing and you'd brighten her whole day. cheery and bubbly, this girl is the embodiment of all things sunshine and rainbows. she's extremely loud when she laughs, is the type to have tears coming out from her eyes from laughing too hard (even if the joke wasn't that funny). yeeun treats life as a playground, so it's no wonder just how childish this girl can be sometimes. her carefree and bright––albeit a little problematic-–attitude makes her a fun soul to be around with. even if already going into her early twenties, yeeun still and will for a long time radiate youth. guys either find her quirky yet eccentric personality adorable or annoying. and speaking of guys, yeeun can't take a hint whenever someone is trying to hit her up. she's naturally extremely nice to everyone, and often guys mistake that kindness for something entirely more when all she means is to be a kind girl. the idea of boys and dating had never really struck her before, for she's too busy in her own wonderland and daydreaming of things that would never happen.  yet even someone as bright as yeeun also has their slightly gloomy side. hers usually show whenever she gets offended. yeeun is fainthearted, she is weak both physically and emotionally and she can't take the slightest jab or insult. whenever someone does as much, she sulks and gets pissy all day. she hates conflict and arguments so much, especially if they get out of hand and is the type to stay on the sidelines if one were to unfold. it's extremely hard for yeeun to get angry with someone. like full-on rage. she always ends up feeling bad and just forgets about the whole thing. this girl wouldn't dare to hurt a soul (or even do as much as raise her voice) even to the ones who deserve it, which is an extreme waste of her powers, if i'm being honest.

» CHILDHOOD/BACKGROUND:

  ↪ growing up, yeeun always felt like she was the odd one out in the family despite being showered by affection by her always busy parents. she bore no similarities with any of her family members in both terms of looks and personality. her parents, they were smart and composed. her brother, he was a thinker even if being still very young. and her sister... she was everything yeeun wasn't, and yeeun thought that was exactly why her sister didn't particularly like her that much. no matter how much yeeun tried to make things smooth between them, her sister would just find a way to avoid her altogether. hyura wasn't mean in a way where she physically abused yeeun, but her stinging words and cold attitude wounded yeeun all the same. and because yeeun is someone who gets offended easily, her patience in dealing with her sister dwindled. soon, she grew tired of putting up effort into being nice. the problem was hyura, had always been hyura and hyura only. she got along with jaehyuk well despite the wide age gap. her parents loved her and it as clear that she was the favorite child out of the three. little did yeeun know, that was the exact reason why her sister resented her so much. hyura often gets jealous of the smallest things, and the unequal love given between her and yeeun got her feeling a little salty. but the bigger picture is this: yeeun is adopted. to hyura, her parents loving yeeun more than her wasn't right.

» HOW DOES SHE FIND OUT ABOUT HER SKILLS?
  ↪ FIRE CONTROL : she found out that she could control fire when she was trying to cook herself dinner for once. it was right after an argument with her sister (which yeeun had stayed completely silent throughout the whole thing because she couldn't bring herself to yell, no matter how much she wanted to). she was feeling rather pissy. raged. she happened to zone out while channeling her anger inside, staring at the small fire the stove was producing. suddenly, it got bigger. and the more furious she felt, the bigger it got.
  ↪ TELEPORTATION : this one's a really funny story. yeeun was practicing her ballet at the dance studio. she was trying to perfect this choreography and wouldn't let herself go home until it was spotless. she kept pushing herself even though she was tired, and in the middle of a spin, yeeun suddenly found herself in a small dark room. a closet. she was confused, scared, panicked. when she opened the door, she stumbled into a group of guys dancing. they looked at her weirdly. turned out, she teleported to the next studio. oops?
  ↪ MEMORY MANIPULATION : this one took a while for her to figure out, and also the last of her powers, since she couldn't really see it happening. it was back in high school, her clumsiness had embarrassed herself in front of her crush and some other students in her class by falling on her ass. she would've laughed it off, but it was her freaking crush, so her cheeks turned red as she walked to class while people around her snickered at her. inside her head, she wished that the whole thing never happened. her wish was granted when she rambled to one of her friends (who had seen her fall and also laughed at yeeun) about how embarrassed she was, but the girl said "you fell?"

» HOW DOES SHE FEEL ABOUT HER BEING A GUARDIAN?
  ↪ DENIAL. yeeun didn't want to accept what was happening to her at first. she played it all as some kind of illusion. hallucinations. a daydream. there was no possible explanation to what was happening to her, so she didn't really think about it (though it's obvious yeeun was freaked out inside). she kept up a facade and stayed her normal and happy self.
  ↪ FEAR. her own powers terrify her. and it's enough that her sister keeps looking at her like she's a freak, she doesn't need something to actually define her as one. the burden of having someone's lives in her hands is something she'd rather not deal with. yeeun is scared of what she can do. the way she held her powers back just didn't help. they kept growing stronger by the day, so yeeun was forced to stop keeping it all inside, even if she was still afraid.
  ↪ ACCEPTANCE. after resltess nights of thinking about everything, she slowly accepts her fate. she starts practicing her abilities to control them. and even if she's not too happy about the whole guardian thing, she starts getting used to her powers a lot. she uses them for fun and for her advantage all the time, especially teleportation. and it's pretty exciting too, having them and knowing she's capable of protecting people.

   ↪ at first, he's quiet in a way that makes him come off as dismissive and intimidating. it's hard for him to warm up to people easily, unlike yeeun who's always eager to make new friends. he might think he's cool and slick, but in reality he's a closeted dork. you'd be surprised at how shy and bashful he actually is (especially with the opposite gender). seems all hard on the outside, but his soft side is shown when he warms up to you. he can be a little shit too. he enjoys messing with people and teasing them, but gets all pissy when they do it back. he's extremely devoted and loyal. he hates seeing the people he cares about in pain.

  ↪ they met through his dog (lmao). yeeun was casually walking around, admiring the trees and enjoying the warm afternoon when a dark came up at her. yeeun, being the doglover that she is, befriended the golden retriever. seconds later came jeongguk, who was panting because he'd been chasing bokshil for the past few minutes. bokshil grew a liking towards

» HOW DO THEY ACT AROUND EACH OTHER?
  ↪ yeeun's more open compared to him, so she warms up to him easily, where it takes a while for him to even muster up enough courage to start a conversation first. he's a little hesitant at first since she barely knows her, but drops all the shy boy act once they've known each other long enough. yeeun often treats him like a younger brother, ruffling his hair and pinching his cheeks a lot (he hates this). she thinks he's adorable. even if he's younger, she's still the more childish one. because she still has trouble with her powers sometimes and he's not supposed to know she's supernatural, yeeun has to go to extreme lengths to hide the fact that she is, and that she's his guardian. he often grows suspicious at how fast she can get to one place to another, why she sometimes smell of smoke, but he brushes them off since yeeun's already an odd girl anyways. overall, they have a really fun friendship, with full of inside jokes and playful insults at each other. yes, he considers them friends, but it doesn't change how his heart races whenever ends up holding his hand, or hugging him for too long. because he is still a guy who's never had a girlfriend before, and she's still a pretty girl somehow befriends him.

» HOW DOES THEIR RELATIONSHIP DEVELOP?
  ↪ BEGINNING : acquaintances trying to get used to each other's new but recurring presence in their lives. (where she just wants to be friends and he's still a little shy).
