  4. ~20% hazy cloud cover. Still fairly light, with 1st & 2nd magnitude stars visible.
  5. ---Vega
  6. [sketch.] Monocular, looking @ Lyra. I found a wide double star, mistaken at first for a [unfinished sentence, I think I meant "DSO"]
  7. ^ "???"
  8. ε Lyr ^M57 somewhere (not visible)
  9.
  10. maybe meteor, probably lightning bug @ 9:50. North, going up and east. <0th mag.
  11.
  12. [sketch of double star] "???" very wide double star. DT6/25mm
  13. too far apart to be a "real" double, but still interesting as I've never seen this pair before. Equal magnitude & color.
  14. ID as Epsilon Lyrae.
  15.
  16. [sketch with small ring] Ring Nebula DT6/25mm
  17. requires averted vision to see ring.
  18. [sketch with large ring] 6mm
  19. extremely faint, but clear structure.

  22. [little crossed star with a line pointing to the first sketch] <-Arcturus (sic, I meant to write Antares) position in drawing 1.
  23. June 21 2020 10:19 PM EDT
  24. [sketch/drawing 1] M4 - DT6/25mm
  25. A large but very faint blob with the faintest hint of individual stars/granularity with averted vision.
  26.
  27. 10:24 transparency is [unintelligible--mighty? really?] bad, with thin whispy clouds covering up 30-40% of sky.
  28.
  29. Polaris: 25mm - No companion.
  30. 6mm - faint companion.
  31. [sketch of Polaris double star]
  32. Jupiter 25mm/DT6
  33. [sketch of Jupiter] orange, with color fringing at ~5degree altitude.
  34.
  35. Satellite moving due west from zenith @ 10:50, lost shortly after.
  36.
  37. -could not find M81/M82 after ~5min of searching. Too poor transparency/light pollution?

  43. [sketch of M27] M27 Dumbbell Nebula - DT6/25mm
  44. very faint, but noticeably two-lobed.
  45. -------------------> satellite 11:07
  46. [picture of Jupiter] Jupiter DT6/6mm
  47. noticeable squiggle on northern band!
  48.
  49. imaging attempt w/ phone/adapter failure! Needs counterweight or telescope falls down. I got a few mediocre shots with virtually no detail.
  50.
  51. [sketch of saturn] Saturn, DT6/6mm
  52. Dim, hard to see clearly.
  53. Titan visible.
  54. 11:35 PM EDT - I'm tired, time to pack up.
  55. Hazy, kinda nasty night. Last night was better.
  56. Still, I found a few new things.
