**Personality:** The progenitor for an entire legion of space vikings obsessed with fighting, and for some strange reason protecting people when Russ himself was literally described as the Emperor's attack dog. Utterly devoted to whatever he believes the Emperor to have said, Russ is nevertheless pretty straightforward: magic can't be trusted, and the best use of one's time is to eat, drink, and fight in reverse order. He also really likes wolves, which doubtless stems from being raised by the things.
**Abilities/Weapons:** ... power armour and a sword? He had a spear but seems to have lost it. D:
He's the second-greatest of the primarchs in sheer physical combat ability, and literally the pinnacle of humanity in essentially anything that can be named--assuming a human roughly corresponding to a real world person. Given canine influence, Russ's senses of smell and hearing are also rather uncanny.
Due to having been raised Fenrisian by wolves, he's scarcely that much less dangerous unarmed.
**Backstory:** One of the Space Marine Primarchs, Russ was literally raised by wolves, then taken in with his siblings by some king or other--despite his siblings being Fenrisian Wolves. When the old king died, Russ became the new king, whereupon the Emperor of Mankind promptly found one of his lost sons and assigned him a legion of superhuman soldiers with power armour.
They promptly proceeded to spend the entirety of the Great Crusade dealing horrendous damage to anything that they got pointed at, earning the legion the nickname of 'the Rout'. When things went bad, the Space Wolves were sent to deal with Magnus--not that Russ wanted to kill his brother all *that* much--and basically killed a planet. This made them late for saving the Emperor.
Some time thereafter, Russ decided to take the strongest warriors of the Space Wolves--minus Bjorn--and go off into the Warp. The Space Wolves found his armour later on, but no-one has a clue where Russ got to... except Magnus, and he doesn't feel like telling.

Given the corrosive nature of the Warp, though tempered by iron-clad devotion the Emperor, being a Primarch, sheer bloody-mindedness, and already being part wolf, Russ hasn't been HUGELY affected by ten thousand years of exposure to chaos... well, comparatively.
