SNES Pre-v5.0 Changelogs

v3.0 represents a ground-up rebuild of my EverDrive packs. The focus in 3.0 is on verified, EverDrive-compatible roms sourced from the highest quality ripping groups.
- A big thanks to POWER5LAVE for contributing a bunch of pre-patched translations.
- Super System Arcade and Super Famicom Box games are now playable.
- The new Game Series Collections should make exploring the console's library easier for newcomers. There you will find roms arranged by themes. If you are new to a console, I recommend starting with a Top-100 list. Roms are numbered in order according to their ranking.
- What's else is new? Loads of new content in the homebrew, hacks, demos, unlicensed, PAL, prototypes, and translations folders, a much more.
v3.1: Merged in No-Intro 2014-08-30 and Satellaview 2015-03-03. The PAL Pack will now be an optional download.
v3.2: Visor sent in new Game Series Collections, so I rolled this update to commemorate the occasion. He put a lot of time into creating a GameFAQs.com Top 100 List, and two chronological packs for 1991 to 1992. I've also added in all of the patched Sufami Turbo games, content updates (hacks, translations, etc), and an SD2SNES-patched Star Ocean.
v3.3 Very minor update: SD2SNES firmware updated and new hacks added.
v3.4 New Game Series Collection: 1993 - Thanks Visor. Also added new homebrew, hacks, and translations
v3.5 240p Test Suite updated to v1.03.
- Lots of new hacks
- New homebrew, unlicensed, and newly-released unreleased-protos.
- All romhacking translations since 2014 are now included, personally patched by me.
- Added the new Kirby BS-X Satellaview mini-games.
- BS Zelda Ancient Stone Tablet updated, old versions removed.

- Added NBA Jam 2K17. The “options” screen will probably crash the game, since that requires a save-state (not supported on SD2SNES or Super EverDrive). If you like the hack, please consider supporting the cancer charity marathon that EMiller518 is raising money for.
v4.0 - SNES/SFC and BS-X Satellaview Official roms are now current to No-Intro 2017-03-20.
- Revisions fixed to the new standard. Latest revisions now appear in main folder, old revisions in “Revisions” folder. This restored the last few missing official games (now verified complete)
- MAJOR Game Series Collections contributions by tjstogy, listed below. These are extremely well researched and take the collections to a new world. Please thank him for the efforts involved, which involved weeks of his time to put together. This is why we’ve finally reached v4.0!

2017-08-25 Game Series Collections by tjstogy update – Thanks tjstogy!!
Below are tjstogy’s notes on the update:
- Added 565 roms
- Extensive cleaning, renaming, and re-filing of roms across dozens of folders
-The SNES pack I revamped quite a bit to be more user friendly-- I deliberately spent some time on "real hardware" as a drunk man trying to navigate my previous collections, and found myself getting a bit pissed off at a few things. If something sucks when you're drunk, then it's not worth it. So- each attempt of mine has come closer to my goal of "no Google required". (GameFAQ's has helped quite a bit in my endeavors) In many cases, it might still required, but I have something for the next update to help with that. So consider this update, "drinking friendly", and invite your significant other over to "SNES and Chill". (Note, Platonic friends: SNES and chill, but not in the same sentence)
Some sweet gravy I've added:
- New Genre's: Platformers, Adventure, Action Adventure, Simulation
- Complete overhaul of the menu systems of: TV Shows, RPG's, Puzzle, Racing, Strategy, and a couple others
- Added a bunch of games here and there, moved some untranslated Japanese games to their own folders, swapped a bunch of PAL games with their 60 hz NTSC counterparts
- Renamed a few folders for continuity/ease of use
- Focused on a cleaner aesthetic when navigating. Now when navigating certain folders, you are presented with an "All" option at the top, followed by "Sort By" options below. This all adds to the user experience, drunk or not.

2017-10-16 Game Series Collections Update by tjstogy. A huge thanks to tjstogy as always!
Tjstogy’s Release Notes:
Ok guys... I'm super happy about this one. This is the cleanest looking and most comprehensive it's ever been!
- Every. Single. SNES. Game...... (which is playable in English, including translations) is now properly sorted into it's corresponding Genre. When you click on "Genre"- bam- you get all the Genres to choose every game from, most with new sub-folders (it looks so darn pretty now....)
- I found a home for every translated-to-English game in the Genres
- I replaced every loose 50 hz European title with it's 60 hz NTSC hack, (hacked courtesy of Smokemonster)
- I created a bunch of new folders (added Genre's and subfolders, similar to my last NES update)
- Separated the Genre, Franchise, Misc into 3 different folders (similar to my last NES update). It's much less convoluted now.
- In the "Unplayable Chip Games" I've sorted each unplayable game by chip (hopefully this will encourage some more future development)
- Added a "Halloween Games" folder in Miscellaneous. Boo!
- Added some Developers
- Looked at every single Japanese-exclusive puzzle game on youtube and added every game that was already in English (which was 99% of them). Enjoy!
