  1. [18:48] The great and mighty brute really hadn't considered the fact that perhaps. Just maybe! One of the small people could push it back? In all truth the thought was so foreign that as the cascade of music not only HURT him but knocked his great body back and away from the man with a black hat.
  2.
  3. Well, now he was forced to consider a few things. That great tree in his hand rose and struck the earth. Shaking the ground with the impact and truly cracking tree in two. "No smallsie's gonna stop me!" As the beast roared shadows began to length from its frame the massive shadow casting seeming to lick and grasp in the direction of Dimitri!
  4.
  5. "Iz da' ardest 'der iz! Squash stupid hat!"
  6.
  7. With that the Ogre flicked their arm and hurled the tree across the space between them! Clearly enraged by the shear audacity of a human being stronger than they were.
  8.
  9. The smile had shifted into more of a sneer but it shined bright!
  10. (Magdabosh)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [18:53] Fighting while in actual terror was something new to Auxis, as they tried to take down the man before he fell. A insurmountable goal, with a pitiable attempt. As when the flames crashed down onto their form, a situation raised that he didn't expect.
  14.
  15. Water started to leak from the mouth of the Sirenian, constantly ever-growing, until it was like a geyser. Not having fought in such a way before, they found himself dropping to the ground in utter exhaustion, all the liquid in his body leaving.
  16.
  17. "B-.." Trying to speak up, his mouth opened wide for another round of retching, "Boats...I don't think he's pr-..." By now all the water in him had been left, dehydration starting to take place.
  18.
  19. Now he was like a fish out of water, tipping over to lay on the ground with eyes staring straight up, a constant drizzle of water being unleashed by his magic to barely keep them from truly shriveling up.
  20.
  21. "This...was a mistake." It had been a very bad mistake, that only thankfully didn't take his life.
  22. (Auxis)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [18:54] Where once the music brought forth physical pain to those it was inflicted upon, not it seemed to strike deeper within Magdabosh's very being.
  26.
  27. Their soul.
  28.
  29. Each note, each chord, every symphony that seemed to escape the very shadows the Ogre commanded would strike at the spiritual center of the man. Again. And Again. The soul itself could not be harmed, but the Essence that many who partook in Witchcraft would be siphoned to further fuel the Captain's own magics.
  30.
  31. As well as Magdabosh's own mana.
  32.
  33. Blackened winds swirled to the fiendish melodies beck and call to begin assulting the body of the larger creature, the tainted gales bludgeoning his form and slicing into his skin to push him back.
  34.
  35. Once a distance was made the stolen essence and mana would be consumed and subverted into Dimitri's circuits, soothing the aches and pains the first bought accumulated.
  36.
  37. ". .you seem disappointed, Ogre. What- were you not expected to be bested?"
  38. (Dimitri Asimov)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [18:54] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Dimitri Asimov}
  42. [18:54] ** Dimitri Asimov has inflicted an injury upon Magdabosh. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (2 days)") **
  43. [19:00] The utter audacity of this man. Thinking he can just run up to some random asshole and beat the SHIT out of them!
  44.
  45. Honestly it worked most of the time, but this rare occasion finally proved Boat's oldest mantra. Don't Fight People Who Know How To Make Explosions. They were always the dregs of society and never deserved any bit of attention.
  46.
  47. "You're a FOOL AUXIS."
  48.
  49. Boats would cry out as he delivers a, admittedly, softened kick to his First Mate's side.
  50.
  51. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU. WE'RE GOING TO BE IN TROUBLE IF YOU KEEP DOING THAT."
  52.
  53. Another, and another, and another! A rapid series of kicks that really felt like nothing, but maybe the idea of being brutally beaten would be enough for Auxis to straighten up.
  54.
  55.
  56. An occasional pause was given to see the ogre fight, of course, but Auxis must learn his lesson!!!
  57. (Boats Reave)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [19:01] As much fun as Dimitri was having, it was only coming to an end as they were easily capable of besting a monster that very few would ever find difficulty with.
  61.
  62. So when it was down and willing to be made to be captured, he only moves over at the pace of a gust of wind, tapping them on the shoulder and pressing his digits against their form. "Don't go any further than what you have to on something so weak."
  63.
  64. Besides, wouldn't prey be better if they got stronger? "You'd be better off allowing them to grow and fester into a threat before you go on the verge of delimbing something so weak and fragile.
  65.
  66. Besides, what is the point of wasting time when there is more fun around the horizon?" His head tilts over to the side, focusing what may be in the temple and what may not be.
  67. (Mykael Voss)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [19:04] Cerise's eyes widened and she slowly stepped back into the tree line with a nervous chuckle as the Violiniest had actually proven formidable enough to take down an Ogre. She would know how strong they were, personally.
  71.
  72. Was she going to do anything for the monster? Of course not, it was a monster, why would she possibly ever do that? Had she finally learned an all important lesson in regards to attacking random people? It remained to be seen.
  73.
  74. "Ah.... Hmmmm."
  75.
  76. Part of her still wanted to stick around to see what else, if anything, happened, and part of her considered just walking away while she still could. For now? She chose to see what the Violinist actually did to the Ogre.
  77. (Cerise Sikora)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [19:05] With oncoming kicks, Auxis started to seemingly shrivel up even more. His arms moving to cover his head, and their body curling up into a ball. Hardly actually feeling the kicks, since their captain was definitely going easy, they still cried out.
  81.
  82. "I was trying to do the t-..." More retching, once again halting his words, "-oll...What's wro-" At this point with another retch stealing his words, they gave up on actively talking.
  83.
  84. Still being able to hear Mykael speaking nearby, his curled up body tightened even more. If...Boats kept kicking him and they stayed like this, maybe the man would lose interest and leave?
  85.
  86. It was a lingering hope, that fueled his fears. After all, if the Voss wanted to, his young body would just go 'boom' and be gone from the earth.
  87. (Auxis)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. [19:05] Maude says, "'m gunna pass out now but uh-"
  91. [19:05] Maude says, "Try holdin' his head up, Boats."
  92. [19:05] Maude says, "An' getting him some water."
  93. [19:05] Boats Reave says, "Eventually."
  94. [19:06] Ingrid exclaims, "See ya Maude!"
  95. [19:06] Maude says, "Right right."
  96. [19:06] Boats Reave exclaims, "Bye maude!"
  97. [19:06] Maude says, "Oh hey, 'afore I go."
  98. [19:06] Boats Reave says, "Maude, excuse me."
  99. [19:06] Maude says, "Actually- nah. Nevermind."
  100. [19:08] Now understanding what he was faced with, Dimitri was able to deal with the creature in a more efficient manner.
  101.
  102. It was almost scary how the Captain could adapt to the fighting style of such an explosively powerful creature, but he earned his rank. That was evident.
  103.
  104. Evading Magdabosh's blows came first and the methodology of such was a curious sight. Such a damned and militant man moved about the battlefield with a grace of a dancer, leaping and twirling up into the air as his symphonies grew louder and louder- draining more and more energy from the creature.
  105.
  106. Allowing him to continue to ascend, jumping from black gale atop a vicious vortex which soon collapsed down upon the ogre. Blood would be sent flying across the clearing to spatter across the grass after the maelstrom forced the ogre to his back.
  107.
  108. With Captain Asimov on top.
  109.
  110. At the end of the bow to his violin, a swirling mass of corrupted Mana began to form into a vicious cleaver as he eyed the arm of the weakened beast.
  111.
  112. Then Mykael spoke, and Dimitri sighed.
  113.
  114. "I suppose you have a point. What fun is there to be had in a situation such as this? I've been entertained, blood was spilled.
  115.
  116. I'm content."
  117.
  118. The cleaver was dispersed into tendrils of ink that harshly moved to rip a small white orb from the throat of Magdabosh- only to then fade fully into their circuits as a visible mark. Screams of an Ogre seemed to leave the orb before it was silenced by the finite shutting of a violin-case.
  119.
  120.
  121. (Dimitri Asimov)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. [19:11] Perfect.
  125.
  126. As long as there was a chance for something to grow into a threat, then the next ten years of his short life wouldn't be made all the more boring.
  127.
  128. This was his little spec of helping someone before he utterly destroys them in the time to come; it would have been more amusing in that way so he could do it himself.
  129.
  130. "Perfect." The gaze of his fixates on Cerise and the orb that they were making, only getting close enough to see it all the same.
  131.
  132. Yet, when he got close enough, no physical contact was made, only a little bit of notice to follow as a face that he vaguely remembered from the Waystone Inn.
  133.
  134. After all, they were one of those people that did speak to him when there was nothing else to do; someone that was nice enough for him to not go off and assault out of the blue, anyway.
  135.
  136. "Hm." No words said, just a little 'hmm' and a grunt to follow as he goes off with his hands in his pockets.
  137.
  138. He had nothing to say to them, and if no one was going to stop the duo from leaving, he would do what anyone else would do -- walk away.
  139. (Mykael Voss)
