- It's been a while since Kilanjo had returned to the west side. He moved from the wood lands of Wych to get away from everyone so he could have time to mourn.
- After he found out that his mother had been killed in such a grotesque way. It had left him in a state of depravity. He sat down by the camp fire with the unmoving dead stare in his eyes as he watched the flames flicker within the air. Depravity surrounded his being as he was falling into a deep depression. Out of everyone he knew, he never would ever expect for someone to to beat down his mother in such a distorted way. The way how her body rested now was completely malformed. It hurt to she such a beautiful women like his mother dying in such a brutal way.
- His unwavering eyes kept onto the flames as if that was the only way to keep him sane. To keep him in place. To keep him from going on a rampage. Only if he knew who had done such a thing to his mother. It would make him feel more at rest. Without him getting revenge for his mother. There was no way that she could move on in peace. . . .
- (Kilanjo)
- A large shadow was lurking in the swampy marsh which was now commonly referred to as the 'Deadlands'. Quite fitting, considering the majority of life which existed here only goal in life, it appeared was to kill anything and everything else. Certainly an interesting concept indeed. Anyways, the hulking figure of Klutu; the mound of rubbery flesh- made itself known to the seemingly apparent feel of depravity oozing off of the depressed male.
- Occultic mana flooded out of the Kaor Lord as he began walking towards the camp. Thunderous thuds could be heard, along with the quaking of the ground beneath him due to his sheer weight and size. This was no normal Kaor, he was certainly.. Something else.
- A multitude of tendrils were strung up to the beasts maw; said tendrils lashed around aggressively, as they commonly did- It was as if they had a mind of their own. Perhaps they did? Who knows? Eitherway.. The saliva which coated them was slowly but surely being dispensed around the immediate area, in a grotesque manner as the being progressed forwards; allowing his shadow to surround Kilanjo.
- A cold, eerie feeling ensued; until suddenly-
- The fire which the blue haired individual was glaring into was extinguished, the final alert that he was in the presence of a monstrosity of the highest kind.
- "...What are you doing here, Fleshling. And why do you reek of pain." it questioned in a hissing tone.
- (Klutu)
- It would seem as if something had came for him. But Kilanjo didn't care what. He was far to driven into the flames. Watching them flicker about as they crackled in brilliance.
- But his ignorant state couldn't ignore what was coming near him. The atmosphere had turned grave as a massive source of Occultic mana flowed throughout the area. Great enough to cause any normal human being to run for the hills. But no, not Kilanjo. From him as a child and mostly playing around with yokai and being around his mother. The occultic energy was usually something of a welcoming for him. Nothing to be feared of for him.
- Boom. . . . Boom. . . Boom. . .
- Loud and thunderous footsteps could be heard behind him as the being behind him closed in on him. Shaking the very ground that Kilanjo was sitting on. But still, he was un-moving. As he didn't care for what was behind him. He just didn't want to lose himself. Lose himself to the void. What didn't make it any better was the amulet he was wearing and the sacred weapon he was holding. Not a wise choice, but he didn't feel like leaving the two at home. It made him feel some what confortable at the time in his depression.
- But at this time as Kilanjo was deep in his thoughts, a shadow had fell upon him as he still remained motionless.
- Then he was asked a question. To which he would surprisingly answer. He never did fear the yokai kind. Mostly because he had them as friends when he was younger and the fact that his mother had a Kaor raise her for some time in her younger life.
- " . . . . . . my mother died. . . . ."
- (Kilanjo)
- The grotesque being which was Klutu was in fact surprised at how low the humanoid seemed. He didn't even really respond the the Occultic presence which was the Kaor Lord. Certainly an odd thing to happen indeed. Interesting, his feelers lashed around even more aggressively as the monstrosity was everso intrigued about the fleshling's situation. He wanted to know more, he wanted to understand this human, alas he speaks up once more.
- "Your mother died? It seems there is more you aren't saying, fleshling. Who killed your mother? Who was your mother?" he quizzed away. Clearly he wanted a response, or at least he wanted to see some form of emotion boil out of the man before him. Pain brought on the best feelings for evil to prey on, and that's what he was hoping for.
- The Aquarius Kaor Lord was always in for messing with people's mental state, but at this point, he saw opportunity to strengthen his links with a humanoid who he could turn to the evil ways and hopefully, use him for his own ends. After all, he would need some human help for him to achieve his goals.
- "You sit here looking weak. Someone inflicted pain upon you, and you take it so pathetically. Why are you not looking to get even?" the voice of the kaor which rocked through the mind of Kilanjo sounded, oddly father like. As if being spoken to by a parental figure, another thread in the dark web which was being constructed.
- (Klutu)
- Kilanjo sat there as he watched the kindling fire blaze about the central point of the camp.
- Soon to hear a whiplash of the sort around his behind. But still, he hadn't seemed to budge even an inch. He just continued to sit there and reminisce about the little bit of time that he had spent with his mother.
- "No. . . that's it. . . she died. . . . . she died right after we were reunited. . . . I promised her that I wouldn't disappear on her like my dad and the others. . . . So now I wonder. . . why did she disappear on me. . .?"
- He spoke in monotone as his voice was emoitionless. Dead even, after all this time he finally felt as if something was missing in his life. As if, it couldn't be replaced. It was as if you had everything you brought with you, but you feel as if your missing something. Like something wasn't right, and you try your best to remember what was missing. But you can't. So you eventually forget about it. . . The only thing was. He didn't want to forget about his mother. He didn't want to put her aside as if she was just a faint memory. He didn't want that for her. He wanted to avenge her. But he can't due to the simple fact that it was merely impossible to collect any traces of who or what did this to her. . . . .
- Suddenly, Kilanjo's head fazed in and out for a second as his head was soon knocked back as he became dizzy for just a second. It would only take seconds later for a warm voice to appear and talk to him. Telling him that he looked weak, that someone inflicted pain upon him, that he was acting pathetic about it, and to if he isn't trying to get even. To which he finally snapped.
- Grabbing the bottom-end of the pole of his weapon. He released it from his back, quick to slam it down to the ground as he pulled himself to a stand.
- A burning passion of hate burned in his eyes as he turned around to face the Kaor-lord. It didn't realize that it was such a terrifying creature at first but it didn't stop him as he stared deep into the Aquatic creatures eyes with his dead stare.
- "Weak? I am nothing but weak. " he spat.
- "And it's anything but it being pathetic, and don't you think I've tried!?" he growled as his voice now tore at the air
- "I spent 3 months, searching and hunting down. My entire family has been searching and there has been nothing found!" His voice would rise.
- The wind around the atmosphere started to grow and move about more rapidly. As if it was being controlled by someone. By a person of cause.
- "3 months and all we have is my mother is a deformed face!" he yelled.
- A miniature vortex now grew around Kilanjo as he stared at the Kaor Lord with hate in his eyes, gripping his spear as if he was ready to attack. Depravity now filled the air as the amulet around his neck started to light up with occultic energy. Glowing a dark hue of lilac as dark energy now started to engulf the surrounding area.
- "There's no way I can get even with the one who killed my mother if I don't know who it is! What do you want me to do? Kill innocents until my rage burns down?! No matter the lives I slaughter. It won't matter until I gain revenge for my mother but cutting down the one who killed her. I've cut countless of people and the pain won't go away. I've asked Saekanis to guide me and all he wants is destruction. . . . ."
- The winds would start to die down as he came to his senses once more. He was losing it again. . . The amulet around his neck started to dim until it glowed no more bringing the dark energy to a halt and dispersing it from the area. There wasn't any reason to lash out and fight when it would gain him nothing. Nothing at all. After all, Nef would rather be disappointed in him if he had done such reckless things. She would shame him herself if she was still alive.
- Lowering his spear, Kilanjo's eyes once again returned to it's normal dead and dull stare.
- "Her name is Nef. . . ."
- (Kilanjo)
- A noticable frown appears upon the monstrosities face; the rubber-like skin of the being buldging in the process, it would be clear to see that the humanoid had hit the break point, which was pleasing of course for the Aquarius yokai to see, however the towering mound of flesh which was the Kaor Yokai was not one to be taken lightly, especially not one someone would raise their voice to in such a manner; this aggression flowed through his being as depravity began to seep out of his very figure. A cold, ominous breeze flooded the area, almost vacant of life.
- The eerie feeling of unpredictability encapsulated the area; as the Kaor stood still, only adding to the unease in the situation; the twin off-yellow hues fixated upon the male's small figure. As the Kaor listened, only becoming more aggrivated with each and every word which the weak Ookami spouted out.
- "You dare raise your voice to me?!" the creature bellowed out of nowhere, the lashing of feelers now far more intense and aggressive. This being was now worked up; the three pronged hands clenched tightly before it let out a loud, piercing roar towards the Ookami; tentacles lashing around as the animalistic roar was release, greater than that of any dragon, or any lion to date.
- "You are weak. You've spent three months looking and found nothing. If you followed what this Saekanis' had said, you'd probably already have slew the evil-dooer by now. You're conscience is a weakness, and you are too blind to see it. Perhaps that's why your mother is gone, fleshling. Perhaps if you were more brutal, she'd still be here. Perhaps if you listened to Saekanis, you wouldn't be so pathetic." it was clear the towering being was interested in how the male would take these words. In fact, he was hoping to warp his whole view on the situation; depravity and these words would certainly break his soul. And possibly even throw him down a much darker path than what he was already on.
- "You could live three of your life times doing what you currently are doing, and never find her killer. Or you can live one of doing it different, and succeed in finding and killing the killer. What says you, fleshling?"
- (Klutu)
- Kilanjo watched how a frown that occured upon the montrous Kaor Lord which happened infront of him. Which he took as the being must of related in some sort of way that he was feeling now. Or maybe it was the fact that he had done something wrong. Perhaps both.
- He watched as the Kaor Lord had seemed to vibrate in such a manner as if it was getting prepared to do something that he was clearly unprepared for. Which he was right as a cold and ominous breeze had submerged the entire area. Sending a cool chill down his spine.
- The uncanny feeling that had occured could only come from the being infront of him as the aquatic creature fixed its eyes upon him. The being had seemed to puslate with aggresion as if it grew aggrivated with him.
- You dare raise your voice to me?!
- The Kaor Lord bellowed, then sceeched afterwardscausing Kilanjo to wince and grab at his ears as he soon found himself light headed. The loud roar made his ears buzz as he feel to a knee and closed his eyes, due to the scream that the being had given off. It had to be the loudest thing that he had ever heard in his life.
- It was only then that the creature would continue to talk and lecture him to his pathetic ways as how he went about the entire scenario. Which was only then, his ears had decided to clear up and let him endure the long talk of which the Kaor Lord had given him. Which made started to make sense to him.
- Had he been a little bit more brutal, who his mother still be alive. If he had killed those who he had spared in the past. Would she still be here with him? Had he really been so blind before? Was he really wasting his time doing what he was currently doing?
- Now he would come upt to a stand as his eyes bore deep into the ground as he began to contemplate about his entire life. Had everything he had done up to this very moment been a waste?
- Finally raising his eyes up towards the Kaor Lord. He would ask.
- "H-How. . . do I live this life?" he said a bit weakly at first.
- But then he would clear his throat and something had seemed to change in his eyes. The amulet around his neck would begin to glow a low hue of lilac once more.
- " I want to live this life. . . . The live where I succeed in finding and killing the killer. . . ." He said in a new-found voice
- (Kilanjo)
- The mound of rubbery flesh seemed unmoved by the male's actions, who seemingly didn't prepare to anger a Kaor Lord of sorts. However, it did seem that Klutu's sudden outburst had been the final step in breaking down his 'good' heart. So perhaps it was a good thing that Klutu lost control for a breif period of time. As the Aquarius being glanced over the boy who was no doubtly pondering all of his lifes actions along with the concequences for those actions. Pathetic in all honesty, after all it is highly likely this being had forced all of this upon himself.
- The twin holes mounted on either side of the Kaor's cranium widened as he heard the boy mutter a question; it seemed this individual was unsure of how to go about his life, how to proceed. An idea sprouted in his mind, although you wouldn't be able to tell from his facial expressions. The tendrils still lashing around before the monstrosities maw, as it slowly evaluated the being before him.
- "...You become what the person who harmed you always feared. A monster. No, A threat. A fact I've learnt through my life- Only the guilty run." it seemed the Kaor was trying to lure this male down the path of darkness. Clearly he saw him as a potential ally or moreso, a servant or just a tool for his bidding in all honesty; however he expanded.
- "If you delve deep enough into the darkness you'll find the answers you seek. Possibly even more, fleshling. In fact, I gaurentee it. If you serve me and the darkness loyally and truly.. You will discover power you could never imagine, power which.. Will truly make you a monster to be feared. Then you watch as the guilty run, and then you know.. Who caused you this pain."
- (Klutu)
- Kilanjo would stare at the Kaor Lord, wanted an answer to what he should do. What he should become. How he should be and act.
- Which his answer soon came.
- His body was unmoving as he took upon the words that the Kaor Lord had spoken. Taking in each word and deciphering the basic knowledge so he could use it for himself and manipulate it to create his being into what the aquatic being had told him.
- "delve deep enough into the darkness. . . .: he muttered as he would soon fall onto one knee and bow towards Klutu.
- "I guarantee both you and the darkness my loyalty and I will you both, truly." he announced as he remained there, eyes low to the ground.
- "Help me become this threat that you speak of"
- Kilanjo would then start to think '. . . no more running. . . . no. . . more. . . running. . . .'
- He would then stare forward to focus on the Kaor Lord infront of him with a new found determination in his eys. A sinister one.
- "My name is Kilanjo and I will serve both you and the darkness" he repeated once more
- (Kilanjo)
- An approving nod was sent towards Kilanjo. It seemed his will had been rotted down by time, and then finally smashed through with the words of Klutu, the Aquarius Kaor Lord. It seemed his words had in fact had the response from Kilanjo as he had hoped and thus, he was going to 'help' this male on his task to become one with the darkness.
- "Kilanjo, I am Klutu. The Great Dreamer. I shall help you become a threat to be feared, but there will be risks. However, words can only go so far. You must prove your loyalty to me and the darkness." he affirmed breifly before awaiting a response.
