Background

Dee's the eldest child of the pirate Ceres as such her early years were spent with her mother. Those early days were spent peddling goods and picking pockets on the docks. It wasn't until her mother passed away from sickness and she searched out her father did that change. Never the healthiest or strongest of children, Dee snuck aboard her fathers ship and lived as a stowaway for months. Until she was found and recruited into the crew properly. She was not well suited to a life of piracy, however, the paperwork that any business enterprise accumulated she was suited to working with. For a few years she helped keep the ledge, helped the cook, assisted the surgeon. In short she worked the way of a cabin girl.

It wasn't until she was thirteen that her father passed away. His battle with mental illness brought about by a witch's hex finally caught up with him and his heart gave out after staying away for far to long. When this happened her younger brother Cery's ran away from the ship back to Esshar. Dee followed afterwards trying to look out for her brother but by the time she arrived he'd already joined up with the Deep Company and been lost to the thrill of battle. Since then Dee has fully joined the Starfall Academy and taken a position in the Silver Dragon's Guild.
