Background: Jibeom was born in Canada to two parents who were extremely well known in show business. He has always had a love for singing and dancing thanks to his parents, so they were ecstatic when he said he wanted to take up singing and dancing lessons. Unfortunately, his dreams were always discouraged by his friends, who found it weird that he was interested in singing and dancing. He was bullied harshly by them, and they stopped talking to him after a while. Nevertheless, his parents encouraged him to keep on going for his dreams, even if people try to bring you down. When he was 12, he and his family moved to Korea, where he greatly improved on his skills and ultimately decided to become a trainee, getting full support from his parents. It took him a few tries, but he eventually got accepted into a company.
