Godzilla was enraged. With each violent, angry breath, he set a cloud of
dirt flying into the air. Opening his mouth wide, he looked around.
Everyone reflexively put their hands to their heads in terror. Ducking
down, they ran into the streets.
“Shinkichi! The defenses won’t hold! Run!!” Ogata wrapped his arms
around Shinkichi’s chest as he started to run.
“Ahhh!!” Instinctively, Shinkichi screamed.
Whoosh! A couple of dark shadows dashed down the fire escape from the
roof!
“Ogata!!”
“Here I am!!” The two started running for all they were worth. Just as
they reached the fire escape, they spied a snow-white half sheet of paper
that had apparently just been posted by the railing. On it were printed big,
black letters.
LOOK! GAZE UPON OUR LORD!!
