Post-1545 plans

So, I've decided to write a pastebin regarding my plans for after the 1545 (my run is June 13th at 7:00 PM EST). Since October/after I got my crash 1 any% PB, I have been playing mostly crash 1 100% (with some small breaks and also a large hiatus for a couple months that I think was from March-April). In that time, I improved my 100% PB and skills a shit-ton, and I am very pleased with the results from all the time I spent on the game. I found lots of new strats, got super consistent to the point where I would feel comfortable submitting it to AGDQ, got a wurr record ermagherd, and had lots of fun. I really want a 1:04 (PB is 1:05:25 atm), but I am feeling pretty burnt out right now so I feel like I should take a break from the category.


These are my options for crash:

I may keep playing crash 1 after the 1545, but not serious 100% PB attempts. I think I will submit this for AGDQ 2019 and also participate in the Crashthon if it happens, so I may go back to this towards the end of 2018. For any%, it would be cool to beat my old time but eh, I barely have any interest in this anymore. Some memes I wanna mess with include, but are not limited to: any% on J, 100% on NTSC-U (I wanna try to see what kind of time I could get on this), NG+, 100%+all boxes+all bonuses, etc.

I’m not interested in going back to crash 2 any time soon. The game is boring to me (remember, just because a game has fast movement doesn’t mean it’s more entertaining than something else), and emu kinda sucks (not gonna import PAL fuck that). I’ll probably go back at some point but idk when. I barely spent any time on the game.

For Crash 3, 105 is still my main interest, though I might try to beat my time in No IG, as it is still a chill category to me. I think I’m capable of a 2:07 in 105, but we’ll see how far I wanna take it.

I wanna do some trifectas of the crash trilogy (any%/305%) as well.

I’d like to finally sit down and learn TWoC any% and/or 106%. I really like this game, and I wanna see if it’s actually fun to run and try to get good at. I will be using XBOX 360 for this because there’s no way I could take a game with loading times as long as they are PS2 seriously.



Now for some Mario stuff. A lot of these probably won’t happen until 2019.

For Super Mario Bros. 1, if I return to it, I’d like to learn warpless rather than improve my any% PB. That category gets so boring so quickly (practice is super fun tho).
 For Super Mario Bros. 2, I’d really love to go at the game kinda hard because I find it super fun, but the input delay on my emulator makes this game pretty hard to run, way more than smb1 because that game has slower movement with less quick inputs needed). Maybe I’ll get a NES one day…

For Super Mario World, I’d like to learn orb and beat my 11 exit PB, but also learn no starworld/all castles and 96 exit.
I’d like to learn Super Mario Land 1 at some point.

Other misc games I'd like to learn in the future include DKC3, Quake III Arena, Mystery Case Files series, re-learn Simpsons Hit & Run, Mario Kart DS, and more that I can't remember right now :P
