[13:57] Ethan Hawke asks, "You wanna help me with something?"
[13:58] Reito Shimasu asks, "Sure, what is it?"
[13:58] Ethan Hawke says, "My staff."
[13:59] Ethan Hawke says, "I found something that might be useful to it."
[14:00] Reito Shimasu says, "Ah! "
[14:01] Reito Shimasu says, "Alright then, I'd be happy to."
[14:01] Ethan Hawke asks, "Let's go somewhere quiet, then, yeah?"
[14:01] Reito Shimasu says, "Okay."
[14:02] Reito Shimasu says, "Here we go."
[14:02] Ethan Hawke says, "So-"
[14:02] Ethan Hawke says, "It's a weird material."
[14:02] Ethan Hawke says, "It came from a..."
[14:02] Ethan Hawke says, "... Nethradin. I think."
[14:02] Ethan Hawke says, "The thing was really odd."
[14:04] Ethan shook his head a bit before he searched in his pockets for a few moments. From it he'd pull a small orb of sorts, one that burned red and— it was no longer an orb but a flame growing upwards, spinning and wrapping a few times before turning completely solid. Whatever that thing was, it was warm, odd, and ever-changing. It seemingly adapted to the Wayfinder's will, too.

"Do you think you could do something with that?"

[14:13] The Kitsune stood there patiently as the Wayfinder searched his pockets, her tail swaying back and forth. As he withdrew the small orb, her golden eyes widened just a tad, eyeing it before she took it in her own hands.

Much like as it resonated with Ethan, it resonated with her as well, changing shape constantly; the flame reaching up high before it died down in control of itself. The Kitsune seemed fascinated and now she chewed on her lip thoughtfully,

"I'm sure there's something we can do with this," She said, "I can try to enchant the staff further with this, to increase it's link with fire, possibly..." She murmured softly, thinking it over.

[14:21] Ethan offered a small smile towards the woman as she stated her thoughts. He had taken some time of his own to think this idea over, too, leaving him with a few propositions that may just make some sense.

"Yeah, that's what I thought, too. Sort of at least. You know how my staff's got that sort of... line from when it used to have rieka in it? What if we found a way to bind this fire into it? Like... keep it how it keeps changing form and adapting, but you know, inside of the staff."

[14:33] Reito's eyes shifted up the ceiling as she nodded,

"Taking the flames themselves and putting them into the lines of rieka. That's a good idea honestly," She said, "You could mold the fire into various different ways with it like that!"

She peered at the ever morphing flame before nodding,

"Yes, that may be the best idea."

[14:41] A rather resolute nod was spared Reito's way as they seemed to agree on the best use of the artefact he had found, though one question did seem to be brought to the Wayfinder's lips soon enough.

"Alright... Now how?"

[14:43] Reito Shimasu says, "Hmm..."
[14:43] Reito Shimasu says, "Probably using runes, honestly."
[14:43] Ethan Hawke asks, "What kinda runes?"
[14:44] Reito Shimasu says, "I'm not sure. I may need to research it, honestly."
[14:44] Reito Shimasu says, "What we're doing is extremely specific."
[14:45] Ethan Hawke says, "Yeah."
[14:45] Ethan Hawke asks, "If it helps, it came from a rift. So... We should probably look into that in the library, yeah?"
[14:50] {Item} You picked up Flames Of Change. Dropped by Ethan Hawke. .
[14:51] Reito Shimasu says, "Hmm...."
[14:51] Reito Shimasu says, "Given that we're both Fire Magi, it should be relatively easy to control the thing enough to relegate the flames to the staff."
[14:51] Reito Shimasu says, "We can then potentially use runes to lock it into place, but keep the morphing."
[15:01] The man nodded.

"You're the expert here."

"That may be the best. It'll be similar to the runes we placed upon the spirit and the phoenix feather," She said.

[15:12] Ethan Hawke asks, "I'll give you time to study all of that, yeah?"
[15:37] Reito Shimasu says, "Alright that sounds fine."
