  1. "Thou again, human."
  2.
  3. Erenan had a large, alien grin stamped across his feline semblance, however- it was not filled with pure cruelty or the viciousness that only a beast would display . . But satisfaction. Unbridled, unkempt, transparent.
  4.
  5. Satisfaction to once again meet one who had the demon humbled through underhanded machinations.
  6.
  7. Ah.
  8.
  9. "I hunger, little creature.
  10.
  11. And thou seem sufficiently fit to feed me."
  12. (Erenan Qi)
  13. After some time of peace and tranquility Atla decided to go to the forests, to see more about the geography, to observe, to be enchanted with the birds and to hear the own trees, but after passing the Dreadwoods he had an unexpected encounter.
  14.
  15. Erenan Qi was in front of him, that tiger-shaped Yokai, apparently he was not on one of the best days, what Atla had previously discussed seemed to be correct, the Yokais are becoming a problem gradually.
  16.
  17. "Oh no, you again? Food? Does it really have to be me? That's a little unhappy."
  18. (Atla-Cuauhtli)
  19. Erenan seemed uncaring for Atla's wariness. The feelings instilled upon the atmosphere were clear. Dread- solely and completely directed at his adversary.
  20.
  21. "Thou shall be released when I am done with thee . . But I must sate my thirst for battle."
  22.
  23. As black flame involved his enormous mold, the tiger leapt forward, swiping claws and ripping the fabric of the very air with occult. The aerial lacerations left behind would stagger-
  24.
  25. Before rushing forth at Erenan's whim and seeking Atla's position, homing on him and attempting to lacerate flesh.
  26. (Erenan Qi)
  27. He watched Erenan and realized he was not kidding, Atla then pulled out his bow and took off his cloak.
  28.
  29. 'He does not seem to be joking, I'm going to need your help here, Renata.' He said telepathically to Renata, and then she slowly formed on the physical plane next to Atla.
  30.
  31. "These creatures really are a problem." She said
  32.
  33. The rune on the right shoulder of Atla's arm began to glow, a wing of energy emerged from the rune, energy began to envelop Atla's body, forming a dense layer that strengthened his muscles, this was his manipulation of the Mystic.
  34.
  35. Nothing was said by Atla, he just waited for the creature to attack.
  36. (Atla-Cuauhtli)
  37. Erenan's assault is, as usual, brutal and unrelenting- completely vicious, brutal. The casts of his claws to the sides completely decimate the warrior, ripping skin and superficial muscle tissue away.
  38.
  39. A felling strike is comprised by a sudden spin of the tiger's body and the delivery of a mighty strike at the joints of his ankle and shin. When his claw is stuck out of the region, patches of flesh are yet stuck in Erenan's talon.
  40.
  41. "Delightful."
  42.
  43. The flesh is brought to his maw, and slowly- the Kaor munches on it, feeding properly.
  44.
  45. "I am . . relatively satisfied.
  46.
  47. Now cast thyself out of my sight, human. I could eat you, but I am yet in amiable terms with Gehenna.
  48.
  49. Relatively."
  50.
  51. With that, the feline pivoted away and paced back to his settlement.
  52. (Erenan Qi)
  53. Even with the strength and agility of Atla and Renata they failed to defeat Erenan, who would have imagined that that dorky tiger who hit his head on the stone after looking at a fish would be so strong?
  54.
  55. 'Go back to your spiritual form Renata.'
  56.
  57. The wound on his ankle hurt a lot, he looked into the beast's eyes, not angry, but with disappointment, the one who walked through his streets now turned against him. Atla turned and fled at the opportunity the Tiger gave, again without saying a word, this beast did not deserve his word, Atla had been through similar things before.
  58. (Atla-Cuauhtli)
  59. He walked limping from Dreadwood toward the center of Ezmara, getting there he sat on a bench, could see a trail of blood on the floor following him, Atla then lifted his foot, showing that part of the skin of his ankle had been ripped out.
  60.
  61. From his cape he had made bandages to staunch the bleeding, the pain was not so much but still his mind was thinking of Yokai, he did not feel remorse, but still knew that he needed to kill Erenan Qi since he had attacked a Gehennian.
  62. (Atla-Cuauhtli)
  63. There's a bit of faint breath outwards as Karma would slowly take a step ahead, head tilted over to the side, yellow hues taking in the bloodied sight before him. He doesn't let any words out, though, instead the Ezmaran merely lifts a hand up, letting the soothing waters embrace Atla's legs--- slowly but surely healing a little bit of surface injury.
  64.
  65. "What happened?" it's murmured out slowly once the Chieftain approached him, a hand reaching out to sit upon his shoulder.
  66. (Karma Vindict)
  67. "The beast--- no, tiger demon?" it's mumbled out and he'd offer a bit of frown at that, slowly letting out a faint, faint sigh. The same one as...
  68.
  69. "Enslaved two Gehennans, too... he has been causing troubles--- this isn't good, no." a pause and he'd let a frustrated groan outwards, slowly backing off--- waters fading away after initial bleeding came to a halt. "I'll look into it, go visit their territories and let Varrach know---"
  70.
  71. A soft pause,
  72.
  73. "--just take care in the meantime. Don't overexert yourself, and, here---"
  74.
  75. Murmuring out just that, he'd rustle through his cloak, holding out a single jar-- one that Maiya gave him a couple days ago.
  76.
  77. "This should help."
  78. (Karma Vindict)
  79. With his head down in a sign of respect Atla kept quiet as he heard the words of Karma, he was being so generous even though Atla had not done so much for Ezmara to thrive.
  80.
  81. "I am not worthy of such generosity, but thank my Chieftain."
  82.
  83. He then took the medicine and used it, the pain had stopped completely, that would certainly help him a lot by now until the wound stabilized. After raising his head he then decided to take the opportunity to talk his thoughts about the Yokais.
  84.
  85. "The yokais are certainly a mystery, some of them may be more dangerous, but I believe we should keep our guard high for all of them, after all they do not have as much culture as we do, they just seem to want to accomplish individual and proper goals."
  86. (Atla-Cuauhtli)
