- Description: Ward was having a fight with his girlfriend and decided to shoot her with his .45 pistol. He missed her and hit Brian, a brand new father who was installing a fence in Ward’s apartment complex, in the chest. He offered Brian $400 and some water, but didn’t call for an ambulance. Brian died in the hospital a month later.
