  1. To what extent would you be willing to support statism or a system similar to it?
  2.
  3. Personally, I believe there should be a system that at least resembled statism in areas where it would just be very unprofitable for private individuals to operate.
  4.
  5. For example, let's take a poor part of town. Because of the bad economic status of the people who live there, they would be most likely driven to commit agression against other individuals by commiting theft. Therefore, what I would propose is for the private police companies to "buy" said areas (Which would likely be extremely cheap, as there isn't much use for profit otherwise) where they would hold a monopoly over law enforcement (Said laws would be decided by the company and made easily clear and available to the public. Not particularly sure how but it would probably be in bills posted in various walls around town or on billboards, or on the newspapers) that they would be able to enforce in any way they see fit, even with violence (So long, of course, as it's used in retaliation to a violation of the NAP).

  7. In order to profit from said expense, the company would need to obtain money from the inhabitants of the territory through a method similar to taxation (But which could also be likened to rent), in which money is obtained from the people who live there, and refusing could be considered a violation of the NAP (As they are residing in the company's private property), making the company justified in kicking them out. However, the people would have no reason to refuse, as the company provides them with protection for them and their property.
