go to mr.pokemon, dont kill anything, pick up at least 1 berry, buy 4 potions. below the lab, enter the house and get a free super potion
get pokeballs, catch: zigzagon, pidgey, sandshrew (scratch + balls)
remove berry from toto, remove any item zigzagon might have
first fight: leer, scratch, repeat (swap out if too many growls)
rival fight: leer until something different than defense curl, spams scratch
pick up rare candy, ppup
shop: sell ppup,  buy 1 xdefend, 2?xspeed, 8?xattack

falkner's gym:
heal to full and equip berry, spam rage
2nd: heal if <10hp, spam rage

rare candy to lv11, equip another berry, heal to full, save (worst fight in the game)
leer once, rage if not sandattack, swap out if SA
on spearow, swap out if you got any more sand attacks, then:
xdefend, xspeed, heal to full with super potion, spam rage

get icepunch,(don't heal) teach icepunch over scratch, equip pecha berry
