  26. [9:09:44 PM] Dannny: Very true. I would argue that it's very safe for movies to take existing concepts and go with them. That's why you have so many movies that are reboots and remakes of pre-existing ones, on top of the books, comics, and other kinds of series that are made into films, rather than the few original concepts made specifically for a new movie. While it's easy to do this, it is kind of pathetic, especially with the point you bring up about how we as people are meanwhile sending people to Mars.

Money is worthless nowadays and there's no profit to be made. They made it worthless by spending it to create their lacklustre products

Producing games alone is more cost efficient than going to college in america to get degrees to qualify for the big companies you're trying to impress and join. Indie devs know they're not gonna make a lot of money and be undermined from the start because the value of money is absolute shit

  33. [9:26:40 PM] 「Ｈｙｂｒｉｄ☆Ｄｒａｇｏｎ」狸竜: I ranted on once about how the 3DS is completely underrated. Everyone p much sees it as an advanced gameboy. SEGA won't produce a sonic game on it that isn't a sidescroller and most indie games are just pixel jumpers. The 3DS can fucking play smash brothers, which is p resource intensive on all consoles it was produced on. You could get a GameCube emulator on that fucking thing and all devs see it as are an oversized gameboy. Hardly any games utilise the 3D screens and even less do it adequately.
