Ep 8 My first Dungeon delving (It was not Walthrough but delving)

Today the quest Roel and I took was enought to make us feel dejected.
we were to search for a comrade of an Adventurer that failed escape here in this town but
at the end what we found was a corpse that was cruelly eaten and scattered around.
it looked like a marriage ring, furthermore the cries of the person's family make my chest tighten.
I understand what that person's comrade feels, since we took this quest upon ourself.
We may not give this up.(TL: this 9 doens't get it 諦めきれなかったのかもしれない。)

"we completerly recieve 300G reward, Ryua-chan. . . . ."

"wasn't supposedly  be 200G."

along the way in our quest Roel leveled up by 1 but she wasn't completely happy.
Once we completed our quest, we check our levels at iron box that checks your level
but as usual my level didn't show itself.

yesterday, I tried asking Gantetsu about the one-winged demon when we were parting.

"I have been doing this job for years but i haven't heard anything about it.
regarding the attacking of Ikana Village, the truth is don't properly understanding it well.
at any rate, maybe its because that it sort of happened in a blink of an eye."

Roel read it orally, I agreed while looking at the projected paper. (TL: try and changing projected its sounds weird -delete-)

"The Avangard cave is not that far from her.
danger level 3, right exactly the same level as me"

"OK, that means that we wont be hesitating over it right" (TL: fumu this sentences sounds really weird -delete-)

We immediately went to take the this quest.
Its a good luck that it hasn't been taken yet.
and then we went to the place where Pable is to hear the quest details.
It was Bar Zenbei, it was the shop where gantetsu treated us yesterday.

"oh, you guys will be taking that quest right"

A plump man with a round face welcomed us.
it seems to be Pablo. (TL: I was totally guessing a cool ossan OTL)

"actually this quest is like fixed-term that is publisized. (TL: guuuh this means the the quest is something like a Daily quest or Repeatative quest you may change this as much as you want as long as the message is clearly stated -delete-)
The water there is nutrional, so its most suitable for cooking and making cocktails.
We sell merchandises that uses it. for example . . . . ."

"um, apart from that , how much will be good amount to bring here?"

The converstation was getting long so Roel stopped it. (TL: LOL)

"oops sorry sorry, I want you to use that push car for it" (TL: push car has this other meaning flatcar and bogie feel free to choose for this one or the best on for this one -delete-)

*clattering*  there was a moderate sized pushcar and empty container set beside it.

"before this, because the previous person was a really strong guy he was able to carry more
but for you guys this is a good amount for you."

"I want more"

"hmmm?"

A round face and a round eyes, Pablo made an interested face.
Thus i put 10 containers in a sack,I had to carry all of this towards the dungeon
I looked like a buglar carrying a big sack on his big which is not very cool.
The place fountain  that gushes out is at underground 2nd floor,  which only beginner adventurers must only go that far but  isn't the limit, usually you just needed to follow the road.
However, after that the danger level is higher and there are monsters lurking within thats why you musn't absolutely proceed, Pablo was really obstinate to get that idea in us. (TL : the last part implies that Pablo was convinving them to never go in so he was drilling the idea in their heads. -delete-)

before long we arrived at the cave.
Roel was tightly holding on her staff while having a tensed expression. (TL: cane can have more meaning it can also be cane or walking stick. -delete)

"th-then shouldwe g-go"

"You don't need to be that tense . . . . . . ."

Roel was slowly and timidly entering the cave while looking around the area for affirmation.
from behind I place my hand on her shoulder, "Hiiii!" she jumped and her stick rolled on the ground. (TL: kawaii yo~)

"s-stop that~! you!" (TL: once again Kawaii yo sound more better in JP "ya-yamete yo~! mo!")

She really got very mad.
I understood, perhaps so far it was the fault of this tension that i haven't probably been able to feel.
Certainlt this is , practically there are monsters you will enounter and at that time you can easily get into a panic.
It seems that the monsters her are no that strong thats why, I will use all my strength to support her so that her confidence can rise. That can be considered a way for me to repay her.

it was pretty wide inside the cave.The entrance was quite small but, from there it was connected to the hall and then there were many cylindrical holes on way as you conitnue.
There were rocks piled over the other, i was really worried if the rocks might collapse from the walls inside the cave.
If a monsters shows up i musn't do anything flashy. (TL: flashy- something that may make the place collapse -delete-)

"I wonder which way would be good to go"

Roel asked a question nervously, she was still tightly holding her staff with both of her hands and looking around restlessly.

"When a monster comes out I will somehow deal with it "

while saying it i took her hand. (TL: nice one!)
I wonder if that lessened her tension, Roel was finally holding her staff with one hand.

"Sorry, ryua-chan, i seem to be pulling you leg" (TL: not sure if i used the "pulling your leg" right this was implying that roel was saying the she seemed to be slowing ryua down -delete)

"you're not, i won't call you something like that"

I smiled.
although if i enter in a battle, I've been fighting alone thats why I wonder if can support her properly.
Recovery magic is the specialty of a Healer, which is helpful
I can use some magic but, I can't use recovery magic at all. (TL: "some" is really confusing from the dictionary it can mean "some", "few" "several" which is pure confusing -delete-)
thanks to that, during at the Caves of Hell, somewhere around 50th floor I ended returning a lot at the resting point.

And, at that time
from inside the cave 2 small rabbits jumped out.
at first glance it looks lovely but, it had an unsuitable sharp fangs and claws. (TL: deadly cute XD)
in one glance, no matter how you look at it you'll know it doesn't look friendly.
In a blink of an eye, it shortened the distance from us with its natural walking ability.

"Hiiiiiiii!! lets calm down Ryua-chan! Calm down!"

Just as i thought roel panicked, for some reason you can her staff clanging on the ground. (TL: clanging for *clang-clang* well she dropped it -delete-)
I fought these guys when i just entered the Caves of Hell.
I experienced a lot of pain from these guys thats why i found it profoundly memorable.
At the start it was hard but, once you get accustomed to it these guys are nothing as an opponent.
This place was said to be for beginner Adventurer, its seems like the truth.

One of the Cave Rabbits leaped to shortening the distance.

【Cave Rabbit A attacked!】

temporarily, i thought about putting down these containers to attack but reconsidered.
For Roel's sake lets recieve one attack.and then i will recieve a recover magic from her.
I purposely let the Cave Rabbit bite me.

【However Ryua didn't recieve any damage!】(TL: LOLOLOL epic fail in planning XD)

Its fangs were stuck on my arm, but still the rabbit continued to floppily bite it. (TL: floppily as in *floppy floppy* Sfx -delete-)
I understood that it was frantically trying to eat it, but it is just fruitless effort.
And at my back there was Roel.

"H-He-HEAL~!"(TL: totally laughin my ass off XD)

for some reason she was casting Heal.
Not understand what she's doing once again i hold her hand, to calm her down.
while rabbit was biting my left hand. as one would expect it started to hurt a little.

"Calm down, Look its fine since I'm right here "

I showed a smile
The rabbit still wasn't stopping.
I saw Roel brandishing her Staff and striking it.
rather than the rabbit it hit me.
She attacked my back with all her might.

【Roel was Confused! Ryua recieved 2 Damage!】 (TL: ROEL!!! you're totally making LOL XD!!)

"That hurt! but I'll be fine if you use your recovery magic om me" (TL: honestly the "but" there was "so" or "therefore" totally confusing but Roel hit Ryua accidentally not purposely -delete)

It totally hurt more than the monster's attack.
Meanwhile, the other rabbit attacked aiming at Roel this time.
still this would be dangerous, thats why i assaulted the rabbit with a kick. (TL: its like pressing *select* in Monster hunter which makes the hunter kick XD)

I was just planning to brush it off lightly, but only the scattered meat was left. (TL: dude this is totally scary)
It was not my plan to do that.
Then i saw Roel who already fainted.

because i don't know what to do with the rabbit on my hand i threw it away

"Roel, The monster are already defeated you know "

"a-a-ah?"

I supported Roel who was dizzily walking.

"Ryua-chan. . . . .as i thought, I . . . . .may be no good"

She started to cry while i was supporting her back looking at her.
for a little while i thought about the outcome, I decided to let Roel have a peace of mind.

"From what you've seen i think you understand but its fine for you to not worry .
I won't let something like a monster attack Roel who is behind me"

"Bu-but"

"You believed in me when i said the I was the one who defeated the Poison Salamander right.
The monsters her are far more way weaker, for now calm down and let practice right."

when she was about to talk, i shut her mouth with my lips.
I didn't know why but I just kissed her didn't I?

Her lips was soft, so soft that i wanted to keep doing it but i have to stop
I released my lips from her mouth and stared at her eyes.

"Roel you're very important to me, thats why i want you to believe in me.
no matter what happens i will protect you"

"Ryua-chan. . . .  . .  yeah"

Roel looked into my eyes and smiled. She looked so lovely with her expression as if seducing me to kiss her again.
Even with just that kiss earlier my heart was already beating very fast but with that expression of hers my heart wouldn't be able to bear it anymore.
I want kiss her again and do more but, no i shouldn't do it anymore.
If i do, I feel like i'll explode and lose myself.

"Ryua-chan. . ."

"hmmm, w-what?"

"more. . . ."

"hu- ah e hah eh?"

She wants "more". what did she mean by "more"?
Did she mean that kiss? i would've love to.
No we shouldn't. We are in a cave with monster , but arent they weak i could just defeated like it was nothing . No, No we are currently doing a quest so we should do that first, yes we should do that first. and then do it again? No no.

*giggles* "then should we do it after this?"

"ah-eh y-yeah"

Roel suddenly talked while i was flustered.
Did she read my mind?

I've been fighting alone so i don't know what i should teach her but I thought that there wouldn't be any meaning if i just defeat the monsters alone.
At a point i started to turn insecure but then, i noticed Roel's existence behind me.

"Lets go, the fountain is at the 2nd floor right"

I stretched out my hand  then roel took it, and then we started to walk.
But then I forgot about the container thats why for once i let go of it. (TL: well she didn't really left it behind -delete-)

"thank you, Ryua-chan . . . . .  ."

silently saying her thanks she suddenly walked light footedly. (TL: well, after saying thanks she suddenly got energetic somethin like that -delete-)
I haven't met her before but, all the time i want to be with this girl. (TL: need help with this one 会って間もないけど、ずっとこの子といたい。 though it would be really nice if i got this one right.)
For some reason i thought of that.

it has a feral personality and quick  but an it can be easily defeated by a beginner adventurer.
but be cautious when they appear in a group.
When the a group of it eats you, you will suffer by being eaten pieces by pieces until they eat your whole body
It may also die from shock.
