41. It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is. But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line.
 42. A villain's maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom.
 43. Silliest movie ever... if you're fans of Teen Titans GO! Took my kids because they're big fans. Although I know nothing of this particular version of the Teen Titans, I mildly enjoyed it. It has a catchy soundtrack and some of the voice actors that play the actual characters on TV. My favorite line in the movie is when Cyborg says referring to Superman played by Nick Cage, "Superman? He's our National Treasure". But the best scene in the movie is the ending.
 44. Well I just got back from the movie and I just need to say this...

92 minutes I'm not getting back at any time... And there are some images not leaving my brain at any time.

To further dive into my thoughts, WITHOUT spoiling for those who haven't seen it, the movie was 'everything' that I expected from the series. It's cheesy, relies heavily on fart humor, horrendous twerking moments, the characters are obnoxious, and the story at best is completely predictable. So why did I go into this movie knowing all this? Why did I dare risk knowing that this was a movie made to indulge for the younger generation and not for the real Teen Titans fans? Well I will you tell this, for all the crap I had to sit through, all the moments that 'tried' to make me laugh (Which is breaking the NUMBER ONE rule in comedy) and all the random stuff they can throw in... There were some good moments from the movie... But not much.

Going into this movie, I wanted a better understanding of why the kids enjoy this show. I desired the answer as to why the show was still going on even though I've heard people saying how horrible it is, from the writing and everything that deserves an 'etc.', and yet it's done so well in the ratings that a movie just had to be made.

To start with... There was this little preview for some 'DC Superhero Girls' project prepared by Lauren Faust. And for a preview of what's to come... I will say I am intrigued with the concept. I dig the animation, it's nice to see 'one' supergirl I know nothing about, and based on what I've seen after the web series, I do hope this turns out to be a promising show to watch.

As for 'some' of the film's 'good' moments... I will admit that there were some songs that made me nod my head a bit. I will admit there are some sick beats and I dig some of the references the movie did make (To an extent). Hell, I had no idea about this one superhero team and yet I desire to do a bit of research. But otherwise... Sitting through an entire 92 minutes of what I just saw... I've seen worst, but this was probably not the best movie I've ever seen in theaters this year.

But as for what happened 'after' the movie, the mid teaser credit video that a 'friend' of mine promised would be worth sitting through all this torture... I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't know how legit this news is. I don't know if this is truly going to happen or if this is just another trick by those two douchebags who made this show to appeal to a kid's already distracted mind. But if in the event it's true... PLEASE let it be true!

And yet... And yet for all the crap I've said about this movie and my rating doesn't help... I get it. I get why the kids will love this movie just as they love 'this' Teen Titans. This isn't a movie with solid story structure or well developed characters or twists that stray away from the unexpected. But they are going to this movie for the same reason they go to all the other movies we think are so bad... They just want to have fun. They are kids and kids will beg their parents to see this movie because they want to see the cartoon characters they grew up watching pulling weird shenanigans, making toilet jokes (Literally) and singing a bunch of songs that compared to the ones I liked... They stunk.

Do I believe that this is a movie that deserves all the praise as much as the show does? In my opinion... NO, absolutely not. But I'd say the only reasons you should go is because if you have kids and they want to see this movie you damn well better take them. As for the parents and to all the 'Teen Titans' fans reading this, I won't guarantee it'll be the best movie going experience and chances are most of you won't like it. But at least go in knowing at the end of the worst rainbow ever put together... There is at least a pot of gold that's worth sitting through 92 minutes of cringe induced humor that just isn't funny at all. I will guarantee this: It's worth more than this entire review.
 45. Go To The Movies is for kids who like bright colors and wacky humor, certainly, but it’s also targeted directly at the sort of superhero nerd who would catch a reference like that.
