Being attached to colonial expeditions as a vanguard should hostiles be encountered, Johan spent little time with his parents, and grew up in the military system. \n\nShowing prowess in deception and keeping a cool head, he was quickly recruited to operate within one of the elite programs that were designed to develop and hone such skills to the military's advantage. \n\nAt the tender age of 19, he was thrust into a team of veterans for dealing with internal strife, according to the coalition. Conducting several high value cases, Johan and team carried out their missions both unnoticed and unscathed, of which the final, was to steal proprietary Mech hardware from a rival industry within the coalition. Much akin to the cold war of the 3300 hundreds, this clandestine endeavour resulted in a huge contract awarded to Johan's side, and him especially, as he piloted the Mech and brought it home. \n\nThe boon to the NFC, brought untold prestige to both Johan and his family. As a reward, Johan was allowed to help design, build, and pilot the NFC's current and upcoming Mechs. \n\nA decade after more covert missions, Johan finally found his calling, in intergalactic espionage.
