Mac OS 10.6.5 on G31M-ES2L

 * CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz@3.2Ghz
 * GPU: OCZ 1GB [I`m waiting for 2x2GB OC Edition from Patrion]
 * GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9800GT [reference]
 * HDD: WD 500GB [MacOS+HFS data parition] & WD 1TB [Windows7+NTFS data partition] - both SATA
 * ODD: Unknown LG on SATA
 * OTH: Edimax EW-7318USn - works after installing official drivers from edimax website
 		Antec Fusion Remote LCD - I have no idea, doesnt work

** !!! READ THIS !!! **

If you have hdd >=1TB you CANT boot from it (system will boot only from USB) - I tried many bootloaders and many configurations - still nothing. Now I bought 2nd 500GB. My 1TB hdd works fine as data storage&win7 boot but for OSX is bad choice :) [some forums member tells me about parition limit to 999GB for success boot, BUT it also depends on BIOS - for this motherboard boot DISK must be SMALLER than 1TB]
However ... if you found method for booting from 999GB+ hdd tell me - I spent 12hours trying and reinstalling OSX.
btw. If you have two or more hdd on the system for installation&configuration process connect only one.

So if you are begginer skip this step but if you are good in Hackintosh topics follow basic steps:
 * Install retail 10.6.5
 * Install "Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Post Installer v2.3.mpkg" - reboot with USB
 * Update to 10.6.5 - reboot with USB
 * Install Apple HDA [ignore kernel panic when you rebooting]
 * Install "AtherosL1cEthernet.kext" (kext helper included), then reboot
 * Install myHack checking: Core, com.apple.Boot.plist, Graphic Enabled and SleepEnabler, reboot from HDD
 * Copy atth. "com.apple.Boot.plist" to /Extra
 * Optional apply chameleon theme and/or install chameleon preff panel

** Before you start **

You must prepare bootable pendrive with retail 10.6.3 on it. Next install myHack 1.1 TO USB DRIVE with standard options. If you are luck or you decide to buy correct GPU you can also uncheck graphic disabler and check graphic enabler.

** BIOS **
**********
Before configuring bios insert your pendrive (now can be empty or already prepared to install)
First load optimized default

=> Standard CMOS Features and change:
 * Drive A - None [can cause problems and none use it]
 * Halt On - No Errors [with some usb kb bios reports no kb and show "Press F1 to con..." lol :) ]

=> Advanced Bios Features
 * Enter HardDisk Boot Priority and make sure about selection [mac os hdd must be at 1st position - skip this step if you have one hdd]
 * First boot device to Hard Disk
 * Second and Third can be Disabled or whatever you wish
 * HDD SMART... recommended to be Enabled

=> Integrated Peripherals
 * On-Chip SATA mode - Enhanced
 * USB Keyboard Support - Leave Disabled (yes, I have USB kb)
 * USB Mouse Support - Leave Disabled
 * You can turn off Onboard Serial & Paralle Port for faster booting

=> Power Management Setup
 * Disable Power On by Ring
 * HPET Mode - 64 bit mode
 * If you are not using Wake On LAN Enable EUP [last entry]

=> PC Health Status
 * This settings are not required by OS X but for your safe apply it
 * CPU Warning Temp. - 70*C for Dual Core Series CPU`s, 80* for Core2Duo CPU`s and 90* for Quads
 * CPU Fan Fail Warn - Enabled

** Preparation of USB drive **
******************************
Get 8GB+ pendrive and restore 10.6.3 DMG on it using Disc Utility. Then install myHack 1.1 using default customize options except graphic - uncheck disabler and check enabler.

** Installation **
******************
Boot from already prepared pendrive [its under Hard-Drive section - not USB-HDD] using boot menu (hit F12 few times during POST check). After myHack bootloader appears press any key and type "-v" on keyboard (without " "), now just press enter.
Wait for boot process complete, chose language and click Utilities then chose Disk Utility. Format your harddrive, remember about GUID scheme (instead of MBR).
Close disk utility and make normal install. After it make boot from USB chosing Macintosh HD instead of Mac OS X Install DVD.

** Drivers **
*************
After success first boot run "G41M-ES2L Post Installer 2.3.mpkg" (yes! G41M for G31M board - it`s not mistake!), in customization section check 64 bit under 32 or 64 bit com.apple.boot.plist section. Also chose your cpu under DSDT Files Section (if isn`t listed chose Generic). After installation installer should prompt for reboot - do it (if you do reboot with -v you can observer many error in AppleHDA - it`s normal bcs G41M has a different sound card than G31M). Now install 10.6.5 combo update and reboot (using USB ofkz).
After reboot install 10.6.2-AppleHDAInstaller.pkg [sound driver] following installer instructions which is full 10.6.5 comatibile. Next you must install lan driver (reboot after it using USB). Just drag "AtherosL1cEthernet.kext" file and drop on "Kext Helper b7". After application open type your passowrd in box and click EASY INSTALL button. [Note: kext helper b7 has small bug - you can`t close it, just click close button and program will disapear and freez, now you must hit cmd+option+esc combination and force close Kext Helper].
Now reset your computer using RESET button (if you click Apple => Reboot system show kernel panic but it`s normal :))

** Bootloader **

Booting from pendrive isn`t so comfortable ;) So you must install bootloader on disk.
Run "myHack_Installer_1.1.mpkg" and follow instructions, under customize section check: Core, com.apple.Boot.plist, Graphic Enabled and SleepEnabler. After installation reboot computer from hdd.
MyHack also do some "hack" eg. sleep fix or prevent kernel panics in some situations, so I recommend to use it instead of installing single kexts. ** Performance & visual tweaks **

Final step:
 * Double click at chameleon.preff and install it for all users
 * Copy com.apple.boot.plist to /Extra
 * Copy "bootcamp" folder to /Extra/Themes (if you want real bootcamp theme instead of myHack theme)
 * Set "bootcamp" theme in System Preferences > chameleon
