  7. well rod I can't thank you enough for
  8. 0:01
  9. joining us here today well thank you
  10. 0:03
  11. it's a pleasure to be with you today
  12. 0:05
  13. here in this Memorial Day weekend yeah
  14. 0:07
  15. thanks for taking time out of the
  16. 0:08
  17. weekend not as you know George and I
  18. 0:10
  19. have been involved in a crowdsource
  20. 0:12
  21. investigation that didn't actually start
  22. 0:15
  23. with Seth rich but the interesting thing
  24. 0:18
  25. about the crowdsource is that it always
  26. 0:20
  27. sort of leads you to where the most
  28. 0:22
  29. important information is yeah and right
  30. 0:25
  31. now we're on cess rich and I was really
  32. 0:26
  33. particularly interested in seeing the
  34. 0:28
  35. way the media treated you because it's
  36. 0:30
  37. another focus of what I'm doing is
  38. 0:31
  39. examining the media can you talk about
  40. 0:33
  41. that a little bit the whole assault on
  42. 0:35
  43. you directly after you went on to Fox
  44. 0:37
  45. well yeah I mean you know I've been with
  46. 0:39
  47. Fox News now for about 12 13 years as a
  48. 0:42
  49. crime analyst talking about everything
  50. 0:43
  51. from San Bernardino to the pulse
  52. 0:46
  53. nightclub shooting these types of crimes
  54. 0:48
  55. right and so when I went on Fox to talk
  56. 0:52
  57. about this that's rich case it's not the
  58. 0:54
  59. first time I had been on Fox talking
  60. 0:56
  61. about the sets rich case really I was on
  62. 0:59
  63. Fox Fox and Friends back in October of
  64. 1:01
  65. last year and I did what we call a walk
  66. 1:04
  67. and talk I walk the scene on Flagler
  68. 1:06
  69. Street and I looked at the crime scene
  70. 1:09
  71. from the perspective what if this were a
  72. 1:11
  73. botched robbery and interestingly enough
  74. 1:13
  75. guys back then I actually believed it
  76. 1:17
  77. could have been a boxed robbery I mean I
  78. 1:18
  79. could see how that could be and that was
  80. 1:21
  81. the narrative that the police department
  82. 1:22
  83. was saying at the time they believed it
  84. 1:24
  85. was about drugs robbery still saying
  86. 1:26
  87. that on and they're still saying that
  88. 1:27
  89. and so you know back in October I agreed
  90. 1:30
  91. so when the family brought me on board
  92. 1:31
  93. and you can stop me from going too far
  94. 1:33
  95. ahead no clear when the family brought
  96. 1:35
  97. me on board and again I can't talk
  98. 1:36
  99. anything about the investigation itself
  100. 1:39
  101. we were stirred because I have a thief I
  102. 1:41
  103. have what I call a shut up order that's
  104. 1:43
  105. what it is shut up don't say any I don't
  106. 1:45
  107. want to talk about that but when family
  108. 1:48
  109. brought me on board back in in March of
  110. 1:50
  111. this year right they brought me on board
  112. 1:53
  113. to investigate a murder which is what I
  114. 1:56
  115. like to say I do best I had no clue at
  116. 2:00
  117. the time believe it or not about the
  118. 2:02
  119. relationships I've had with the DNC or
  120. 2:06
  121. WikiLeaks and the email thing into
  122. 2:08
  123. Russian hacking I have never followed
  124. 2:10
  125. that I mean I've heard about it sure
  126. 2:11
  127. right but
  128. 2:12
  129. I haven't really followed it so I didn't
  130. 2:13
  131. put two and two together in terms of
  132. 2:16
  133. whatever I find in this death
  134. 2:17
  135. investigation or murder investigation is
  136. 2:19
  137. going to have some effect on the
  138. 2:21
  139. WikiLeaks thing into Russian hacking I
  140. 2:23
  141. wasn't focused on that at all and that's
  142. 2:25
  143. and I've always said that because that
  144. 2:27
  145. was the truth I'm focused on who were
  146. 2:29
  147. the bad guys so I begin the
  148. 2:32
  149. investigation when you begin a murder
  150. 2:34
  151. investigation specifically I always like
  152. 2:36
  153. to say you have three doors to go this
  154. 2:38
  155. what I used to teach rookies as a matter
  156. 2:40
  157. of fact Ricky and detectives you have
  158. 2:42
  159. three doors to go into when you when you
  160. 2:44
  161. do an investigation the first door is
  162. 2:47
  163. whether or not this was just a street
  164. 2:49
  165. crime a botched robbery in this case so
  166. 2:52
  167. you want to work that possibility right
  168. 2:55
  169. the second door is whether or not this
  170. 2:58
  171. person's death is the result of
  172. 3:00
  173. relationships gone bad
  174. 3:02
  175. lovers triangle boyfriend on the side
  176. 3:05
  177. girlfriend yeah
  178. 3:07
  179. those things happen quite often right
  180. 3:09
  181. but then the third door that you go in
  182. 3:11
  183. is the door that's related to that
  184. 3:13
  185. person's employment and relationships as
  186. 3:16
  187. it applies to his job so I've worked
  188. 3:19
  189. extensively through door number one okay
  190. 3:22
  191. I mean I work I talk to some of the what
  192. 3:24
  193. I like to call knuckleheads on the
  194. 3:26
  195. street you know did anybody see anything
  196. 3:28
  197. tell me that kind of stuff you know
  198. 3:30
  199. you're hitting hitting the ground
  200. 3:31
  201. running right then I started looking at
  202. 3:34
  203. door number two personal relationships
  204. 3:37
  205. and again I can't go into detail but I
  206. 3:39
  207. would encourage your viewers and others
  208. 3:41
  209. to talk to the bar manager at component
  210. 3:46
  211. I think it's in Joe Capone he'll tell
  212. 3:48
  213. you I spent most of the time that I
  214. 3:49
  215. talked to him talking about
  216. 3:51
  217. relationships that stuff could have had
  218. 3:53
  219. and we even joked about it that said
  220. 3:55
  221. just have have two or three girls on the
  222. 3:58
  223. side even you have to ask those kind of
  224. 4:00
  225. you never know me and then even with
  226. 4:03
  227. Seth's girlfriend Kelsey we spent most
  228. 4:06
  229. of our time talking about their
  230. 4:07
  231. relationship I never asked the word
  232. 4:10
  233. about email mm-hmm because it wasn't my
  234. 4:13
  235. focus and is she living in DC or she's
  236. 4:15
  237. in Omaha at this point DC okay you mean
  238. 4:19
  239. during the time of yeah yeah no no
  240. 4:21
  241. during the time of the murder she was in
  242. 4:22
  243. Omaha
  244. 4:23
  245. I see living in DC now and they have
  246. 4:25
  247. that 89 minute phone call where I can't
  248. 4:28
  249. go on okay sorry sir
  250. 4:30
  251. I've been going to do cut that's not the
  252. 4:32
  253. only phone call you are aware of there's
  254. 4:34
  255. other telephones yes but that is huge in
  256. 4:36
  257. this investigation so now I'm at door
  258. 4:39
  259. number three because I don't find
  260. 4:41
  261. anything in door number one I don't find
  262. 4:43
  263. anything to support a relationship gone
  264. 4:46
  265. bad or lover's triangle I don't find
  266. 4:49
  267. that in door number two right okay so
  268. 4:50
  269. what a detective will do now say okay
  270. 4:52
  271. well let's look at job relationships
  272. 4:55
  273. maybe there's something going on with a
  274. 4:57
  275. supervisor you know sometimes people
  276. 4:59
  277. have problems with supervisors it's
  278. 5:02
  279. really a terrible toxic situation and
  280. 5:05
  281. then maybe one winds up shooting and
  282. 5:07
  283. killing you know anything is possible
  284. 5:08
  285. maybe a me day see or and someone's
  286. 5:10
  287. looking at job related right and now I'm
  288. 5:16
  289. starting to get pushback from certain
  290. 5:18
  291. people don't dig don't dig don't go any
  292. 5:21
  293. further
  294. 5:22
  295. don't look in door number three right
  296. 5:24
  297. and you know what I mean you can look at
  298. 5:26
  299. door number one let me do it number two
  300. 5:27
  301. all you want don't look in door number
  302. 5:29
  303. three well wait a minute what's behind
  304. 5:31
  305. door number three exactly you see what I
  306. 5:34
  307. mean yes and that's where we stopped see
  308. 5:37
  309. one of the things that really intrigues
  310. 5:38
  311. us is that today Joe Biggs I'm sure you
  312. 5:41
  313. saw came out with an FBI document that
  314. 5:44
  315. has basically been shown to be fake most
  316. 5:47
  317. people would say it's very curious that
  318. 5:49
  319. the FBI would even be involved in the
  320. 5:51
  321. investigation of a civilian because
  322. 5:53
  323. working for the DNC that's a private
  324. 5:55
  325. organization it's not a government
  326. 5:56
  327. organization thread set is not a federal
  328. 5:59
  329. employee and there's no interstate
  330. 6:01
  331. aspect to his murder so why would the
  332. 6:02
  333. FBI be involved in this at all well and
  334. 6:05
  335. there's only one scenario where I can
  336. 6:08
  337. think that the FBI would have been
  338. 6:11
  339. involved and that is and based on my
  340. 6:14
  341. experience as a police as a detective
  342. 6:16
  343. here in DC sometimes our meaning the
  344. 6:19
  345. police DC Police Department our IT
  346. 6:21
  347. department can't get into certain types
  348. 6:24
  349. of electronic devices I see so the FBI
  350. 6:27
  351. they have the resources to get into or
  352. 6:31
  353. crack into whatever you
  354. 6:32
  355. to call it in to certain types of
  356. 6:34
  357. devices so what we would do they
  358. 6:35
  359. wouldn't be so much involved in the
  360. 6:37
  361. investigation they would just help us
  362. 6:39
  363. get into that data that's a part of that
  364. 6:41
  365. computer Renzo I see how that can happen
  366. 6:44
  367. it happens all the time matter of fact
  368. 6:46
  369. on the state level many states have
  370. 6:48
  371. Bureau of Criminal Investigations on the
  372. 6:50
  373. state level and believe it or not local
  374. 6:52
  375. police departments rely on the BCI unit
  376. 6:56
  377. state to help them with those types of
  378. 6:59
  379. electronic investigation it's a good
  380. 7:01
  381. explanation so the FBI could be
  382. 7:02
  383. violently and obviously you can't talk
  384. 7:04
  385. about any information related to the
  386. 7:06
  387. laptop for the phone other than what you
  388. 7:08
  389. said already which is they wouldn't give
  390. 7:09
  391. you access to it no access that's right
  392. 7:11
  393. mm-hmm
  394. 7:12
  395. then also be true for lab information or
  396. 7:15
  397. DNA testing that's it depends on the
  398. 7:18
  399. jurisdiction now Dean lessee has its own
  400. 7:21
  401. DNA laboratory over at one date and
  402. 7:23
  403. state of the art so they do their own
  404. 7:25
  405. and they natural PD or say yeah a
  406. 7:28
  407. Metropolitan Police from DC yes 119 V
  408. 7:31
  409. Street yeah and they had it back then so
  410. 7:33
  411. they would have done their own DNA
  412. 7:35
  413. testing and when you're talking about
  414. 7:37
  415. knuckleheads
  416. 7:38
  417. Brandon Warren is that a knucklehead you
  418. 7:40
  419. can talk with us about or now okay but
  420. 7:43
  421. he's a real person but we don't even
  422. 7:46
  423. came to talk about that I've heard of
  424. 7:47
  425. the name but other than that I don't
  426. 7:48
  427. know much about I haven't spoken to him
  428. 7:50
  429. okay that's interesting because a
  430. 7:52
  431. Georgia obviously spent quite a bit of
  432. 7:54
  433. time with Joe Capone and has done some
  434. 7:55
  435. reporting on that yeah I spent about
  436. 7:58
  437. four days there and I saw Joe every day
  438. 8:01
  439. and I probably got I'm more the Columbo
  440. 8:05
  441. type where ask you know five six
  442. 8:07
  443. questions and then have a glass of wine
  444. 8:09
  445. and then ask a couple more you know I
  446. 8:12
  447. read all the reports and there was a
  448. 8:14
  449. Daily Mail article about it saying that
  450. 8:16
  451. he was somehow there and feeling the
  452. 8:20
  453. felt depressed and I didn't know if that
  454. 8:22
  455. was secondhand information or first-hand
  456. 8:24
  457. information and then there was this
  458. 8:26
  459. report that he had been put into a cab
  460. 8:28
  461. maybe and there was other accounts that
  462. 8:31
  463. said he had walked and so I did what you
  464. 8:34
  465. did I walked the whole you know all the
  466. 8:37
  467. way down to Flagler took a couple of
  468. 8:40
  469. different routes but I mainly went down
  470. 8:42
  471. you know Georgia to Harvard a couple
  472. 8:45
  473. dinner out she could take but this was
  474. 8:47
  475. quite a walk it's like about a 40 minute
  476. 8:49
  477. walk yeah and then he had a previous
  478. 8:51
  479. address at one to two I'm gonna forget
  480. 8:54
  481. the Tia trust it was much closer his
  482. 8:57
  483. previous address and I walked it into
  484. 8:59
  485. not eight minutes so I was thinking well
  486. 9:01
  487. if he really did live there once you too
  488. 9:04
  489. and I'm spacing on the on the street but
  490. 9:08
  491. it was this much shorter walk I mean if
  492. 9:11
  493. you really live it to 113 first Street I
  494. 9:16
  495. mean it just seemed like there wasn't
  496. 9:18
  497. any footprints or any metadata that
  498. 9:20
  499. actually said he lived at 21 I realize
  500. 9:22
  501. you can't answer
  502. 9:23
  503. talk about the investigation but that's
  504. 9:26
  505. the first thing that struck me in doing
  506. 9:28
  507. exactly what you did with door number
  508. 9:30
  509. one just walk into shoes no victim sure
  510. 9:32
  511. yeah and and that this kind of that got
  512. 9:37
  513. me and then there was this period of
  514. 9:39
  515. time also from the shot shooter or
  516. 9:43
  517. whatever there's a shooting system from
  518. 9:45
  519. 420 hotspot or shot spotter yeah from
  520. 9:48
  521. 428 m to the 559 call of death there was
  522. 9:52
  523. several articles that came out that said
  524. 9:54
  525. his parents were there there was another
  526. 9:56
  527. article that said there and the brother
  528. 9:58
  529. was there he was sitting up talking
  530. 10:01
  531. there was another article that came out
  532. 10:03
  533. from supposedly written by a fourth year
  534. 10:07
  535. sort of surgery or intern writer and
  536. 10:10
  537. said he had been shot once
  538. 10:12
  539. third lobe of the liver and that was
  540. 10:15
  541. still in there and then there was that
  542. 10:17
  543. was just an entry wound and there was an
  544. 10:18
  545. exit and entry and exit wound through
  546. 10:21
  547. them through the abdomen at 12
  548. 10:24
  549. centimeters had been resected and he
  550. 10:26
  551. seemed stable and the guy had seen 25 of
  552. 10:29
  553. those or 30 of them and no one had ever
  554. 10:31
  555. died in that situation so has anyone
  556. 10:33
  557. seen the autopsy report well that's what
  558. 10:36
  559. we were going to ask you
  560. 10:37
  561. yeah I haven't seen it neither would
  562. 10:39
  563. know I haven't been given access to the
  564. 10:41
  565. autopsy report and how often does that
  566. 10:43
  567. happen in a murder investigation doesn't
  568. 10:45
  569. happen I mean the autopsy report for a
  570. 10:47
  571. detective is always used to say it's the
  572. 10:50
  573. Bible because you're going to learn so
  574. 10:51
  575. much about the victim the toxicology
  576. 10:55
  577. report as part of the autopsy report
  578. 10:57
  579. that's important yeah I'm doing a murder
  580. 10:59
  581. of us young right I'm talking to victim
  582. 11:00
  583. now right entry and exit wounds all
  584. 11:03
  585. kinds of things you learn from the
  586. 11:05
  587. autopsy report and again I can't go into
  588. 11:07
  589. detail but all I would say is every
  590. 11:10
  591. investigation I've ever done at murder
  592. 11:13
  593. investigation or death investigation hmm
  594. 11:15
  595. you always a step one let me see a copy
  596. 11:18
  597. of the autopsy report but I want to go
  598. 11:20
  599. back to door one okay okay because this
  600. 11:23
  601. interesting doer one let's say this were
  602. 11:26
  603. a botched robbery yeah okay you have to
  604. 11:29
  605. look at all
  606. 11:29
  607. absolutely later so police officers we
  608. 11:33
  609. get to call ShotSpotter
  610. 11:34
  611. now the gunshot 21st and Flagler I need
  612. 11:38
  613. a unit with the dispatcher said okay so
  614. 11:41
  615. you got units responding okay I'm going
  616. 11:44
  617. dispatcher 380 number whatever the
  618. 11:47
  619. number is right so the officers get on
  620. 11:49
  621. the same if we see that and this is any
  622. 11:52
  623. murder investigation I'm not just
  624. 11:53
  625. talking about this particular case but
  626. 11:55
  627. this is the way it works right you get
  628. 11:58
  629. on the stand your victim is still alive
  630. 11:59
  631. and talking mm-hmm right the first thing
  632. 12:03
  633. you ask that victim as a uniformed
  634. 12:05
  635. officer we trained officers who shot you
  636. 12:08
  637. who shot you Chicago with the number of
  638. 12:11
  639. shootings they have I guarantee you
  640. 12:13
  641. every time a cop rolls up on the scene
  642. 12:15
  643. that's the first thing you want to ask
  644. 12:16
  645. that victim because you don't have that
  646. 12:18
  647. victims are going to die right
  648. 12:19
  649. who shot you man this is what you saw
  650. 12:21
  651. that could be solving the crime right
  652. 12:22
  653. there well that's why you ask
  654. 12:24
  655. yeah let me know or if you don't find
  656. 12:26
  657. out who shot you what did they look like
  658. 12:27
  659. right so we can give what we call a
  660. 12:30
  661. lookout right okay if this is protocol
  662. 12:33
  663. mm-hmm for any shooting situation so you
  664. 12:36
  665. the first units on the same if that
  666. 12:38
  667. lookout and you broadcast it over the
  668. 12:41
  669. air I want to know in this investigation
  670. 12:43
  671. I want a copy of the audible
  672. 12:46
  673. transmission from the lookout they had
  674. 12:50
  675. to have a lookout have you communicated
  676. 12:52
  677. with any other responding officers no
  678. 12:55
  679. you haven't
  680. 12:56
  681. and obviously no one's had access to the
  682. 12:58
  683. body cam footage or anything like that
  684. 13:00
  685. no that's right see the thing is I don't
  686. 13:03
  687. want any of us here to be accused of
  688. 13:05
  689. being conspiracy
  690. 13:06
  691. or anything like that so I really liked
  692. 13:08
  693. your answer to the FBI question because
  694. 13:10
  695. that's a sensible answer that provides a
  696. 13:12
  697. logical alternative that debunks what
  698. 13:14
  699. most people would say about why the FBI
  700. 13:17
  701. might or might not be involved so it
  702. 13:20
  703. just it brings me back to these
  704. 13:22
  705. questions like I mean even the cease and
  706. 13:24
  707. desist order that you've gotten from the
  708. 13:26
  709. family now that's specifically about
  710. 13:28
  711. talking about the case are you still
  712. 13:30
  713. investigating the case where you just
  714. 13:31
  715. see something and assisting from
  716. 13:32
  717. everything right cease and desist
  718. 13:34
  719. basically from average so you're fired
  720. 13:37
  721. you're not investigating it anymore not
  722. 13:38
  723. investigating it on behalf of the family
  724. 13:41
  725. anyone can I hate any case they want a
  726. 13:43
  727. family no I'm not investigating it for
  728. 13:46
  729. them and the cease-and-desist like I
  730. 13:48
  731. said I consider that a shut-the-hell-up
  732. 13:50
  733. order don't say a word don't tell
  734. 13:53
  735. anybody because what I want to do and I
  736. 13:54
  737. issued a statement I thought you guys
  738. 13:56
  739. saw the statement that I I'm not sure at
  740. 13:58
  741. least about a week ago and I'm asking
  742. 14:00
  743. the family to allow me to release my
  744. 14:03
  745. investigative reports oh well of course
  746. 14:06
  747. the world to see it I want them to see
  748. 14:08
  749. what I have because if people see what I
  750. 14:10
  751. have in my report if you take the
  752. 14:12
  753. political motivation out of it out of
  754. 14:15
  755. the equation then you're going to say oh
  756. 14:17
  757. it makes sense why he thinks this right
  758. 14:20
  759. I mean that's what most normal people
  760. 14:21
  761. would I think know what I mean clearly
  762. 14:23
  763. and go take the political stuff out of
  764. 14:25
  765. it right it just seems a little bit odd
  766. 14:27
  767. that for instance I believe that there
  768. 14:31
  769. was two meetings at each hospital that
  770. 14:33
  771. separate is shot in between there's a
  772. 14:35
  773. meeting at Howard University Hospital
  774. 14:38
  775. which is a trauma center as well and
  776. 14:40
  777. then there's the MedStar up on the hill
  778. 14:42
  779. so Howard at the bottom to the left you
  780. 14:45
  781. know W Street going west and then and I
  782. 14:49
  783. was on my hands and knees that corner of
  784. 14:51
  785. W and Flagler looking straight ahead
  786. 14:52
  787. that you can almost see MedStar on a
  788. 14:54
  789. direct line and so he has to go to one
  790. 14:58
  791. of those two hospitals what I find
  792. 15:00
  793. amazing is that people won't say which
  794. 15:03
  795. hospital he went to you know we and he
  796. 15:04
  797. went to MedStar he went to head start so
  798. 15:06
  799. we confirm that he went to mincer now he
  800. 15:08
  801. never spent any time
  802. 15:10
  803. Howard at all never not from what I know
  804. 15:13
  805. he did it
  806. 15:14
  807. okay and it kind of makes sense that he
  808. 15:16
  809. would go to mr. in that area that's the
  810. 15:20
  811. hospital of choice that we usually take
  812. 15:23
  813. shooting victims to between Howard and
  814. 15:26
  815. MedStar we typically take them to
  816. 15:28
  817. messler now Howard has a what we call a
  818. 15:30
  819. crash in it as well and they're pretty
  820. 15:32
  821. good with gunshot victims but in that
  822. 15:34
  823. case where that shooting happened that I
  824. 15:36
  825. think it would have been better to go to
  826. 15:37
  827. med stuff did you speak to the attending
  828. 15:40
  829. physician at all no do you know who that
  830. 15:42
  831. was no I don't this is an interesting
  832. 15:45
  833. sort of confusion surrounding the doctor
  834. 15:48
  835. whether it's dr. Sava doctor tell you
  836. 15:52
  837. vish or if that's the same person
  838. 15:54
  839. operating are two different names oh I
  840. 15:56
  841. see no I have no idea okay
  842. 15:58
  843. I have a social security number with
  844. 16:00
  845. Solow with it with those two names and
  846. 16:04
  847. some people change the name you know
  848. 16:05
  849. each ROM would say Hungary and he wants
  850. 16:10
  851. to be more American so it changes his
  852. 16:12
  853. name cassava baby or it may be just
  854. 16:14
  855. simpler for people to say you know so
  856. 16:16
  857. there may be reasons why right but a lot
  858. 16:21
  859. of aliases as well and that you know
  860. 16:24
  861. that he kind of gives you pause like
  862. 16:26
  863. maybe why why is that going on and just
  864. 16:29
  865. why the - secrecy why not just say I was
  866. 16:32
  867. good you know sometimes on you know I
  868. 16:35
  869. remember when Gabby Giffords was shot
  870. 16:36
  871. and right there was almost hourly
  872. 16:38
  873. reporting by the physician talking about
  874. 16:40
  875. right here's her here's her cat scan and
  876. 16:42
  877. you know we're going to go in here was a
  878. 16:43
  879. miracle that we saved her life
  880. 16:45
  881. sorry and and it's been a lot of cases
  882. 16:48
  883. like that where the doctors have been
  884. 16:50
  885. very open with the information so you
  886. 16:52
  887. just wonder why in this situation it's
  888. 16:55
  889. so closed down you know now there's so
  890. 16:57
  891. many things like that that just make you
  892. 16:59
  893. wonder why this is happening and you
  894. 17:01
  895. know it's just very confusing and it
  896. 17:04
  897. leaves people I think that's what leads
  898. 17:05
  899. people to this whole conspiracy theory
  900. 17:07
  901. kind of idea to me that's a real hot
  902. 17:11
  903. button word because when someone says oh
  904. 17:13
  905. well you know rod wheeler is promoting a
  906. 17:15
  907. conspiracy theory that's been debunked
  908. 17:17
  909. my first question is well how has it
  910. 17:19
  911. been debunked
  912. 17:20
  913. where is your evidence that is stronger
  914. 17:23
  915. than his evidence that shows that he is
  916. 17:24
  917. saying something incorrect and none of
  918. 17:26
  919. that has come forward as far as we can
  920. 17:28
  921. see it hasn't come forward serial I
  922. 17:31
  923. haven't walked back anything as a matter
  924. 17:33
  925. of fact in my statement that I released
  926. 17:35
  927. the week ago I mean I said then in my
  928. 17:38
  929. statement in writing though I do believe
  930. 17:40
  931. that there was some communication
  932. 17:41
  933. between Seth and WikiLeaks and we
  934. 17:44
  935. believe and I believe that based on
  936. 17:47
  937. common sense first of all you know what
  938. 17:49
  939. I mean I got a practical person based on
  940. 17:52
  941. common sense and you know from
  942. 17:54
  943. information that we're getting from
  944. 17:56
  945. various sources now does that mean that
  946. 17:58
  947. I know for a fact that that happened
  948. 18:00
  949. absolutely not right but I believe that
  950. 18:03
  951. that to be the case so I don't want you
  952. 18:06
  953. to give away any of the investigation
  954. 18:07
  955. because you've got this gag order but
  956. 18:09
  957. can you say there was a lot of I think
  958. 18:13
  959. in your statement something about there
  960. 18:15
  961. was you know some email going back and
  962. 18:19
  963. forth between somebody from WikiLeaks
  964. 18:20
  965. and etc to confirm that is that true or
  966. 18:24
  967. well the the information guys that I got
  968. 18:27
  969. about the source which was an FBI
  970. 18:31
  971. federal investigator right that was a
  972. 18:34
  973. source that was developed by the Fox
  974. 18:36
  975. News Channel reporter Malia's emmerman
  976. 18:39
  977. okay her and I communicated and when she
  978. 18:42
  979. I'll never forget when she called me
  980. 18:44
  981. right thing is I have nothing to hide
  982. 18:46
  983. you know if it means I'll tell you what
  984. 18:48
  985. happened yeah if I screwed up say Roger
  986. 18:50
  987. screwed on right when she called me she
  988. 18:53
  989. said Ron we got this new information
  990. 18:54
  991. that there's this FBI guy a former FBI
  992. 18:58
  993. guy a federal investigator and he said
  994. 19:00
  995. he knows for a fact that emails went
  996. 19:03
  997. from deaths computer to WikiLeaks and
  998. 19:07
  999. you know what I asked her and she'll
  1000. 19:09
1001. tell you I said is this guy credible
  1002. 19:11
  1003. that's what I asked her she said he's
  1004. 19:13
1005. very credible and I said and that's
  1006. 19:15
1007. confirmed she's it is confirmed okay
  1008. 19:18
1009. well that's when I rolled with right you
  1010. 19:20
1011. go to ranges to finish that off and
  1012. 19:22
1013. don't give anything away but yeah but
  1014. 19:24
1015. McFadden was the recipient right yeah
  1016. 19:27
1017. so that is confirmed okay and so she was
  1018. 19:29
1019. going to come out in the form of a
  1020. 19:31
  1021. report
  1022. 19:32
1023. on that Tuesday right this was a Monday
  1024. 19:36
1025. well it was a Monday when she called me
  1026. 19:38
1027. and confirmed this to me I hadn't seen
  1028. 19:40
  1029. the report
  1030. 19:41
1031. so I'm basing they basing everything I
  1032. 19:43
1033. was saying off of the telephone
  1034. 19:45
1035. conversation that her and I had had and
  1036. 19:49
1037. that was the extent of it I had never
  1038. 19:51
1039. talked to this guy I never said I talked
  1040. 19:53
1041. to the guy yeah I don't know the guy it
  1042. 19:54
1043. was very clear to me just from listening
  1044. 19:56
1045. to what you said and the way you were
  1046. 19:57
1047. criticized that this was fake news
  1048. 19:59
1049. hitting you with a smear campaign it was
  1050. 20:01
1051. and this is a and the other thing and
  1052. 20:04
1053. this is all verifiable as soon as I got
  1054. 20:06
1055. that news from Malia guess why call the
  1056. 20:09
  1057. police department writer I mean isn't
  1058. 20:11
1059. this what you're supposed yeah yeah yeah
  1060. 20:13
1061. and you know what I talked to the
  1062. 20:14
1063. detective I said look I got this new
  1064. 20:16
1065. information I think we can crack the
  1066. 20:17
  1067. case I'm thinking about a murder I'm
  1068. 20:19
  1069. sorry right I wasn't thinking about
  1070. 20:20
  1071. everything else right yeah
  1072. 20:22
1073. he'll tell you and I called him right
  1074. 20:24
1075. away and sure he said okay rod thanks
  1076. 20:25
1077. we'll get right on it and this is a guy
  1078. 20:27
1079. that you know from your years on the
  1080. 20:29
1081. force no no the okay guy investigating
  1082. 20:31
1083. the case okay okay he wasn't there when
  1084. 20:33
1085. I was there then I picked up the phone
  1086. 20:36
  1087. and I called Joe rich uh-huh
  1088. 20:39
1089. the father yeah this is all verifying
  1090. 20:41
1091. I'll show you the phone records I'm not
  1092. 20:42
1093. anything I type you look at all the
  1094. 20:44
1095. phone records to be everybody else I
  1096. 20:45
1097. caught right right I called Joe rich and
  1098. 20:48
1099. I said Joe guess what we just got this
  1100. 20:50
1101. information this FBI he's it really I
  1102. 20:52
1103. see yeah he said what do you think I
  1104. 20:53
1105. said it sounds like it's pretty good
  1106. 20:55
1107. whoever this FBI guy right he said but I
  1108. 20:59
1109. think Fox News is going to do a story on
  1110. 21:00
1111. it tomorrow I just want you to be aware
  1112. 21:02
1113. he's okay right no problem
  1114. 21:04
1115. great job yeah that's what he said I
  1116. 21:06
1117. mean rent and then I call Aaron but
  1118. 21:09
1119. brother brother yeah did let him know
  1120. 21:11
1121. that he wasn't as happy about it he
  1122. 21:13
1123. seems very strange in the interview as
  1124. 21:15
1125. well when I shared this I was excited
  1126. 21:17
1127. I'm thinking maybe this is the lead that
  1128. 21:20
1129. we need the witness we need to crack
  1130. 21:22
1131. this case we can finally get the
  1132. 21:24
1133. murderers this is what I'm thinking we
  1134. 21:26
1135. can confirm wick right thank you are you
  1136. 21:28
1137. yeah yeah yeah so I call Aaron and we're
  1138. 21:32
1139. having this conversation and again I
  1140. 21:33
1141. can't go into a whole lot of details but
  1142. 21:35
1143. I'll tell you one thing I said to him at
  1144. 21:37
  1145. the end
  1146. 21:37
1147. that conversation that's an errand and I
  1148. 21:39
1149. said it just like this let me ask you
  1150. 21:41
  1151. man
  1152. 21:42
1153. are you alright he said what do you mean
  1154. 21:45
1155. I said did you really want this case
  1156. 21:47
1157. soft he said right just do what you want
  1158. 21:50
1159. to do click and I'm gonna fall because I
  1160. 21:53
1161. asked him that because he wasn't acting
  1162. 21:55
1163. right to me okay you know this you're a
  1164. 21:58
1165. loved one and I tell you I think we can
  1166. 21:59
1167. get we know who did it or whatever you
  1168. 22:01
1169. can all great great go get them right
  1170. 22:02
  1171. here
  1172. 22:03
  1173. you're not gonna say wait a minute I'll
  1174. 22:04
1175. check you me don't go many more into
  1176. 22:06
1177. door number three you're not going to
  1178. 22:08
1179. say that so do you think that's because
  1180. 22:10
1181. there's some outside pressure being put
  1182. 22:13
1183. on the family or you can't speculate I
  1184. 22:15
  1185. don't want to speculate I could
  1186. 22:18
1187. speculate but I don't want to speculate
  1188. 22:19
1189. a hooded robber but I have some I have
  1190. 22:22
1191. some idea now we've heard a lot that
  1192. 22:24
1193. star judgment we've heard a lot that you
  1194. 22:27
1195. know things have been said from the
  1196. 22:30
1197. family and is that actually coming from
  1198. 22:32
1199. the family or is that coming from this
  1200. 22:34
1201. PR firm that's representing the family
  1202. 22:37
1203. in my opinion I think it's coming from
  1204. 22:39
1205. the PR firm is representing do you know
  1206. 22:42
1207. the name of that firm well I know it's
  1208. 22:44
  1209. Brad Baumann yeah
  1210. 22:46
1211. but I also know that my relationship
  1212. 22:48
1213. with Joel and Mary was great I think
  1214. 22:51
  1215. they're wonderful people
  1216. 22:53
1217. Joel and Mary wants this case of course
  1218. 22:57
1219. they do of course I can't say that for
  1220. 23:00
  1221. anyone else
  1222. 23:00
1223. lighter is true the relationship Joel
  1224. 23:03
1225. gave me information that I'm pretty sure
  1226. 23:07
1227. others in his family would not have
  1228. 23:09
1229. wanted him to give to me but see that's
  1230. 23:12
1231. because he wants the case saw courser
  1232. 23:14
  1233. sure exactly
  1234. 23:15
1235. so just to nail down the details you can
  1236. 23:18
1237. share metadata you can't share the
  1238. 23:20
1239. details you you called the DC police
  1240. 23:24
1241. detective can you share that name with
  1242. 23:27
1243. we hold no I could but I don't want to
  1244. 23:29
1245. right now we would have to get clearance
  1246. 23:31
1247. for my attorney yeah yeah okay I thought
  1248. 23:34
1249. I mean well then there's two rumors out
  1250. 23:36
1251. there floating around and I just
  1252. 23:37
1253. wondered if you could debunk either one
  1254. 23:39
1255. of them one of them said that the family
  1256. 23:42
1257. had was talking to Seth rich and he was
  1258. 23:44
1259. sitting up at the hospital
  1260. 23:46
  1261. I don't know yeah okay you didn't get
  1262. 23:49
1263. involved until well after right yeah I
  1264. 23:51
  1265. don't know I guess I've heard different
  1266. 23:53
1267. things from different people and the
  1268. 23:55
1269. other one was that Aaron was there
  1270. 23:57
1271. talking to him while he was sitting at
  1272. 23:59
  1273. the hostel I don't know I don't know I
  1274. 24:03
1275. don't believe that to be the case but I
  1276. 24:05
1277. don't know for sure okay and then the
  1278. 24:07
1279. last one was if no autopsy and we
  1280. 24:10
1281. actually have had our folks you know
  1282. 24:11
1283. with the email that you can send for any
  1284. 24:14
1285. homicide in in DC area it requires a lot
  1286. 24:18
1287. requires an autopsy so we've requested
  1288. 24:21
1289. that and then there's Judicial Watch has
  1290. 24:23
1291. requested a lot of their documents with
  1292. 24:25
1293. compitent the phone in the laptop so
  1294. 24:28
1295. forth so that's proceeding I think maybe
  1296. 24:31
1297. al JCL J not ALU but also American
  1298. 24:36
1299. justice and Law Center is doing some
  1300. 24:38
1301. ploy as for this that may help in your
  1302. 24:41
1303. investigation I'm not sure but the other
  1304. 24:43
1305. question I had was do you know if the
  1306. 24:47
1307. family sign off on any kind of consent
  1308. 24:50
1309. form for his internal organs that have
  1310. 24:53
1311. Salonika shooting sure I'm not sure I
  1312. 24:55
1313. don't know and never asked that question
  1314. 24:57
1315. so they haven't looking and have you
  1316. 24:59
1317. seen any information that would lead you
  1318. 25:02
1319. believe that Joe Capone has some sort of
  1320. 25:05
1321. relationship with Bob creamer or has
  1322. 25:06
1323. ever dealt with him no I haven't so I
  1324. 25:11
1325. want to bring it around a little bit
  1326. 25:12
1327. closer to what George has been
  1328. 25:14
  1329. investigating and I know you've probably
  1330. 25:16
1331. been looking at some of the work that
  1332. 25:17
1333. we've been doing together since we
  1334. 25:19
1335. started talking so you're probably
  1336. 25:21
1337. familiar with Imran Awan and the Awan
  1338. 25:23
1339. brothers the Pakistani ISI infiltration
  1340. 25:26
1341. of the IT department at Congress none of
  1342. 25:32
1343. that came into play in your
  1344. 25:33
1345. investigation I presume no it did not
  1346. 25:35
1347. mm-hmm anything you want to ask about
  1348. 25:37
1349. that George well do it now this is
  1350. 25:41
1351. taking you into this world of WikiLeaks
  1352. 25:45
1353. the first thing I guess is interesting
  1354. 25:48
1355. is if you wish you have confirmed thank
  1356. 25:51
1357. you very much except which his email can
  1358. 25:53
1359. Macbeth then there was interplay between
  1360. 25:55
1361. them was I mean from the information
  1362. 25:58
1363. that I got from the Fox News reporter
  1364. 26:00
1365. read the FBI source so sort of people
  1366. 26:02
1367. characterize that traffic was at a
  1368. 26:04
1369. casual once or twice or reserved quietly
  1370. 26:07
1371. I don't know remember it was done that
  1372. 26:09
1373. Monday evening when she called me and
  1374. 26:11
1375. told me this new information I hadn't
  1376. 26:13
1377. read it over here for it really yeah and
  1378. 26:15
1379. this was the source she had developed
  1380. 26:17
1381. okay and I just asked what it credible
  1382. 26:20
1383. yes is it confirmed yes okay and I just
  1384. 26:24
1385. ran with it but I didn't you know I
  1386. 26:25
  1387. don't even know the guys name I don't
  1388. 26:27
1389. know what you guys I never talked to the
  1390. 26:28
1391. guy George is very focused on metadata
  1392. 26:30
1393. and there is metadata to indicate a huge
  1394. 26:33
1395. data traffic spike on July the 7th yeah
  1396. 26:37
1397. three days before he dies there's two
  1398. 26:40
1399. Russians that somehow had access to
  1400. 26:43
1401. metadata of a large data transfer from
  1402. 26:47
1403. the DNC where Seth worked to the Clinton
  1404. 26:52
1405. Foundation in New York and that's not
  1406. 26:54
1407. necessarily important it seems very far
  1408. 26:57
1409. afield but there are reports that his
  1410. 27:00
1411. boss Amy Dacey had some kind of argument
  1412. 27:03
1413. about whether that data should be
  1414. 27:05
1415. released or not then there is this
  1416. 27:08
1417. meeting the day before which oak upon
  1418. 27:11
1419. and Bob Kramer at the White House it
  1420. 27:14
1421. almost seems like maybe there's a cause
  1422. 27:17
1423. and effect there and with sets being
  1424. 27:21
1425. very upset about you know Hillary
  1426. 27:24
1427. potentially moving money or data from
  1428. 27:27
1429. his favorite candidates were the Bernie
  1430. 27:30
1431. Kratz like myself over to the hillock
  1432. 27:32
1433. rats so there are many people who
  1434. 27:35
1435. believe that you know the state of mind
  1436. 27:36
1437. of the person before they died very
  1438. 27:38
1439. important what is this motive and that
  1440. 27:40
1441. his motive was we're getting railroaded
  1442. 27:44
1443. here and I want to prove that this money
  1444. 27:47
1445. is being moved over so many people have
  1446. 27:50
1447. speculated and we don't know yet but we
  1448. 27:52
1449. do have the two Russians that were
  1450. 27:54
1451. expelled because they said it was a
  1452. 27:57
1453. Russian reports against fact illative
  1454. 28:00
1455. here but that there was this transfer so
  1456. 28:04
1457. we don't know if Seth was performing
  1458. 28:07
1459. that transfer or he was reacting to
  1460. 28:09
1461. someone else moving that data up to the
  1462. 28:13
1463. coins are certainly interesting though
  1464. 28:14
1465. the timing to Russian analysts the two
  1466. 28:17
1467. Russian analysts do say it move a very
  1468. 28:19
1469. large unusual amount of traffic like you
  1470. 28:21
1471. know more than ten times from the
  1472. 28:24
1473. Clinton from the DNC to the Clinton
  1474. 28:26
1475. Foundation which seems odd just oddity
  1476. 28:29
1477. anomaly have you ever heard of something
  1478. 28:31
1479. called NGP van does that mean anything
  1480. 28:34
1481. to you now okay that's rotating it well
  1482. 28:36
1483. it's the software database that was used
  1484. 28:39
1485. for voter information tracking right at
  1486. 28:41
1487. DNC and it seems to be related to this
  1488. 28:43
1489. data spike and possibly something set
  1490. 28:46
1491. which might have been interested in
  1492. 28:47
1493. certainly something WikiLeaks would have
  1494. 28:49
1495. been interested in if you were trying to
  1496. 28:51
1497. prove what I just said which is they're
  1498. 28:53
1499. taking the money away from the Bernie
  1500. 28:55
1501. Kratz and getting it to the hillock rats
  1502. 28:57
1503. you could use this software this band
  1504. 29:00
1505. software to prove that you could say oh
  1506. 29:03
1507. this is a long set of conversations
  1508. 29:05
1509. let's say we had five or six emails of
  1510. 29:08
1511. each exchange and then you know rod
  1512. 29:10
1513. wheeler set up we're going to give five
  1514. 29:11
1515. thousand dollars to the DNC if then that
  1516. 29:14
1517. showed up later is a five thousand
  1518. 29:16
1519. dollar donation to the Hillary then you
  1520. 29:19
1521. could say whoa hey Steve two things
  1522. 29:21
1523. don't mix and match so there is some
  1524. 29:25
1525. chatter within the WikiLeaks gap
  1526. 29:28
1527. McFadden being in WikiLeaks UK that
  1528. 29:31
1529. that's exactly the kinds of
  1530. 29:33
1531. conversations that he was having saying
  1532. 29:35
  1533. here's what I need I say coaching him
  1534. 29:37
1535. and saying here's what I need to prove
  1536. 29:39
1537. almost out of the zip code level now
  1538. 29:41
1539. that's obviously speculation on my part
  1540. 29:44
1541. just knowing Gavin McFadden in his
  1542. 29:47
1543. journalism school that he had so that's
  1544. 29:50
1545. why I asked the characterization of how
  1546. 29:52
1547. much traffic and he know back and forth
  1548. 29:54
1549. back and forth we didn't go into detail
  1550. 29:56
1551. at all matter of fact I didn't even know
  1552. 29:59
1553. the number of emails because the local
  1554. 30:01
1555. Fox 5 reporter Maria Morocco marina
  1556. 30:03
1557. Morocco the one that wasn't supposed to
  1558. 30:06
1559. break that story that night yeah
  1560. 30:08
  1561. and she wasn't
  1562. 30:09
1563. I don't know if you ever had heard that
  1564. 30:10
1565. before but she wasn't didn't know that
  1566. 30:12
1567. yeah it was just going to be a teaser
  1568. 30:14
1569. because we wanted FoxNews to break the
  1570. 30:18
1571. story the next day if they were going to
  1572. 30:20
1573. break the story I just kind of call
  1574. 30:22
1575. myself sharing some information I had
  1576. 30:24
1577. just heard with Maria marina and she
  1578. 30:26
1579. says she was just going to do a teaser
  1580. 30:27
1581. she wind up making it an exclusive cause
  1582. 30:30
1583. it's a local affiliate not the main
  1584. 30:31
1585. right but it blew up right for some but
  1586. 30:37
1587. so anyway that's kind of what happened
  1588. 30:40
1589. with that whole process in terms of how
  1590. 30:43
1591. the information got out but yeah I
  1592. 30:44
1593. didn't have any detail in terms of what
  1594. 30:47
1595. this FBI informant had told the Fox News
  1596. 30:50
1597. reporter Malia I had no detail because
  1598. 30:53
1599. see I was in my car when she called me
  1600. 30:54
1601. sure and I was on my way to Fox as a
  1602. 30:57
1603. matter of fact to do a show called
  1604. 30:59
1605. making money with Charles Payne we were
  1606. 31:01
1607. going to talk about ms-13 that a real at
  1608. 31:04
1609. six o'clock so I was on my way downtown
  1610. 31:06
1611. DC anyway when she caught so I wasn't at
  1612. 31:09
1613. my computer and so I'm on the phone
  1614. 31:10
1615. listening to her we cancelled that
  1616. 31:13
1617. segment that day uh-huh but I stayed
  1618. 31:15
1619. downtown and had dinner at a restaurant
  1620. 31:16
1621. called art and soul and marina came to
  1622. 31:19
1623. the restaurant and got a 30-second clip
  1624. 31:22
1625. for me and that was the exclusive story
  1626. 31:25
1627. oh well that's what she led with that
  1628. 31:27
1629. bag yeah 30 seconds yeah needless
  1630. 31:31
1631. Newberry has changed your life now rod
  1632. 31:34
1633. did the death of Shawn Lucas coming to
  1634. 31:36
1635. your investigation at all and what you
  1636. 31:40
1637. have any thoughts about that that you
  1638. 31:41
1639. can share with us Robert oh yes for the
  1640. 31:43
1641. first part no for the auditor god I do
  1642. 31:46
1643. have some thoughts about some Lucas's
  1644. 31:48
  1645. death
  1646. 31:48
1647. yeah we've been very sort of fascinated
  1648. 31:52
1649. by the idea that Shawn Lucas Gavin
  1650. 31:55
1651. McFadden John Jones Michael Ratner Seth
  1652. 31:59
1653. Rich all died within a proximity of two
  1654. 32:03
1655. or three months some of them being in
  1656. 32:05
1657. their 20s and all of them being related
  1658. 32:08
1659. either directly or indirectly through
  1660. 32:12
1661. WikiLeaks DNC data and all of this whole
  1662. 32:16
1663. thing is not really anything you can
  1664. 32:18
1665. tell us about that I can't go into
  1666. 32:20
1667. detail right now about that hopefully at
  1668. 32:22
  1669. some
  1670. 32:23
1671. and I will be able to earth but I will
  1672. 32:25
1673. tell you this on March 31st I did a fox
  1674. 32:29
1675. local Fox 5 show that morning live on
  1676. 32:33
  1677. the set yep
  1678. 32:34
1679. just this year I just started the
  1680. 32:36
1681. investigation and I shared with the
  1682. 32:39
1683. anchor on the air that I'm uncovering a
  1684. 32:42
1685. lot of somewhat of an underground
  1686. 32:46
1687. organized crime ring I said this on the
  1688. 32:49
1689. air that's the name we want to ask you
  1690. 32:51
1691. of and beyond the set rich murder and
  1692. 32:55
1693. the anchor at the talisman Seymour's her
  1694. 32:58
1695. name don't you say well can you talk a
  1696. 33:00
1697. little bit more about that right I said
  1698. 33:01
  1699. I can that's it but I'm just finding
  1700. 33:04
1701. some things that's really making me a
  1702. 33:05
1703. little uncomfortable and that's what you
  1704. 33:08
1705. just met with all those names that's
  1706. 33:09
1707. what I was finding and was SceI you
  1708. 33:12
1709. involved in that criminal syndicate at
  1710. 33:14
1711. all not as far as I knew at that time
  1712. 33:17
1713. are we going to get killed for having
  1714. 33:19
1715. this interview with it as a lot of our
  1716. 33:22
1717. viewers are emailing us but that might
  1718. 33:24
1719. happen well there there is another thing
  1720. 33:28
1721. that happens is that the police chief
  1722. 33:32
1723. Lanier I think it was Kathleen Cathy
  1724. 33:35
  1725. Lanier
  1726. 33:35
1727. yeah no Kathy she seems to have a very
  1728. 33:38
  1729. strong relationship with Debbie
  1730. 33:40
  1731. wasserman-schultz she seems to have a
  1732. 33:41
1733. strong relationship with Amy Dacey the
  1734. 33:44
1735. boss of assets rich and a little bit of
  1736. 33:50
1737. a checkered past on the force we were
  1738. 33:52
1739. reading an article today from a local
  1740. 33:53
1741. paper that said there were a lot of sort
  1742. 33:56
1743. of disgruntled officers who left under
  1744. 33:58
1745. her command I can't talk about that it
  1746. 34:00
  1747. looks like well perfect
  1748. 34:03
1749. I didn't work under Kathy okay I was in
  1750. 34:05
1751. the Academy with Kathy oh really when
  1752. 34:07
1753. Kathy for years really and she's always
  1754. 34:09
1755. been a very nice person I've never seen
  1756. 34:11
1757. anything that would indicate anything
  1758. 34:13
1759. wrong this is done or questionable I
  1760. 34:16
1761. have well we're not we're not saying
  1762. 34:18
1763. questionable it's just the facts in the
  1764. 34:20
1765. article stated that the officer roles
  1766. 34:22
1767. are really dwindling under her and that
  1768. 34:24
1769. a lot of officers were leaving the force
  1770. 34:26
  1771. somewhere I wouldn't say a lot though
  1772. 34:28
1773. there were some because he had some
  1774. 34:31
1775. Buse with certain commanders that you
  1776. 34:34
1777. know a lot of I know a lot of the
  1778. 34:35
1779. officers say wow you know that's kind of
  1780. 34:37
1781. crazy and went to other departments I've
  1782. 34:40
1783. heard but I don't know anything specific
  1784. 34:42
1785. and Turtleback I have heard some things
  1786. 34:45
1787. and I don't want to say I'll tell you
  1788. 34:48
1789. later but I have to heard some things I
  1790. 34:49
1791. wouldn't repeat it now on camera because
  1792. 34:51
  1793. I can't verify it the others if I don't
  1794. 34:53
1795. want to speculate cliff and I will I
  1796. 34:55
1797. will share with you what I heard later
  1798. 34:57
1799. after cameras are off okay okay so it
  1800. 35:00
1801. there are some emails in the WikiLeaks
  1802. 35:03
1803. from John Podesta especially not the
  1804. 35:05
1805. first set of WikiLeaks which is
  1806. 35:07
1807. happening somewhere between May 25th is
  1808. 35:10
1809. the last email and then June June 12th
  1810. 35:14
1811. or 13th somewhere in there that's set
  1812. 35:17
1813. rich could might be the person that gave
  1814. 35:19
1815. those but there's a second set that come
  1816. 35:21
1817. out in October 7th timeframe that you
  1818. 35:25
1819. certainly couldn't have given because
  1820. 35:27
1821. they have later later time frames after
  1822. 35:30
1823. his death so there is a second person
  1824. 35:33
  1825. now there's a guy there's a there are
  1826. 35:39
1827. several emails in those Podesta leaks
  1828. 35:41
1829. that say we need to make an example out
  1830. 35:43
1831. of someone just some things that you
  1832. 35:46
1833. know I call out who is the leaker who is
  1834. 35:49
1835. the leaker and then that's the response
  1836. 35:52
1837. Eric Braverman so it would lead you to
  1838. 35:55
1839. believe that there was some state of
  1840. 35:57
1841. mind that there was someone else other
  1842. 36:00
1843. than then there's a an ambassador from
  1844. 36:04
1845. UK his name's Craig Murray he flies over
  1846. 36:06
1847. here tries to get in the country on the
  1848. 36:08
1849. 6th of September that doesn't work and
  1850. 36:12
1851. then he comes in I think for speech at
  1852. 36:14
  1853. American University around September
  1854. 36:16
1855. 22nd 23rd he says he goes to the back of
  1856. 36:20
1857. American University wooded area and gets
  1858. 36:23
1859. a thumb drive from wikio somebody from
  1860. 36:28
1861. the DNC and WikiLeaks so putting to it
  1862. 36:32
1863. or one one together you know maybe
  1864. 36:34
1865. WikiLeaks leaker to knows what he leaks
  1866. 36:37
1867. leaker what did any of these guys come
  1868. 36:40
1869. into the investigation al not in mine
  1870. 36:42
1871. hmm so he's still alive I don't know how
  1872. 36:46
1873. much longer sorry yeah Greg very well
  1874. 36:48
1875. and Eric Craven we don't know that was
  1876. 36:50
1877. the start of George's investigation is
  1878. 36:52
1879. where is this guy Eric Braverman there's
  1880. 36:54
1881. still no one can find him well he never
  1882. 36:57
  1883. had a public appearance there's been a
  1884. 36:59
1885. couple of tweets that said hello Eric
  1886. 37:00
1887. Craven is going to run the Google
  1888. 37:02
1889. foundation but that isn't really like
  1890. 37:05
1891. going out getting a cup of coffee at
  1892. 37:06
1893. Starbucks right George has been to Yale
  1894. 37:08
1895. investigating you know seminars he's
  1896. 37:11
1897. supposed to be giving that are
  1898. 37:11
1899. mysteriously rescheduled I went to an
  1900. 37:14
1901. apartment that was supposedly his
  1902. 37:16
1903. apartment that seemed like an apartment
  1904. 37:18
1905. I didn't want a knock on the door of so
  1906. 37:21
1907. there's a lot of mystery surrounding him
  1908. 37:23
1909. there's one other name I want to ask you
  1910. 37:26
1911. about did did someone by the name of
  1912. 37:28
1913. Wingate Robinson come into the
  1914. 37:30
1915. investigation at all one of the officers
  1916. 37:33
  1917. I guess there's a moped officer that
  1918. 37:37
1919. first comes to seeing a woman and then
  1920. 37:38
1921. there's this mister officer Wendy
  1922. 37:43
1923. Robinson comes there and then there's
  1924. 37:45
1925. three of the officers have body cams and
  1926. 37:48
1927. two don't they'll ever heard of that
  1928. 37:51
1929. yeah yeah and but I was told that no one
  1930. 37:54
1931. knows where the body cam video footage
  1932. 37:57
1933. is how common is that would you say my
  1934. 37:58
1935. comment at all just the police
  1936. 38:00
1937. department of a major city I can see it
  1938. 38:03
1939. if we were you know small down aisle
  1940. 38:05
1941. with somewhere we're talking to major
  1942. 38:06
1943. city yeah lose the video cab for
  1944. 38:09
1945. everybody it's very strange and you know
  1946. 38:11
  1947. something that I'm sure you're familiar
  1948. 38:13
1949. with having been on the force and
  1950. 38:14
1951. everything I see a lot of parallels in
  1952. 38:17
1953. the mysterious death of Seth rich and
  1954. 38:21
1955. another government employee Vince Foster
  1956. 38:25
1957. now people are definitely going to call
  1958. 38:27
1959. me a conspiracy theorist about this but
  1960. 38:29
1961. when I see similarities like missing
  1962. 38:31
  1963. photographic evidence anyone questioning
  1964. 38:35
1965. the story being immediately called a
  1966. 38:37
1967. conspiracy theorist and being kind of
  1968. 38:38
1969. like you know run out of town and cease
  1970. 38:40
1971. and assisted and yeah made fun of on the
  1972. 38:42
1973. internet why is that happening no no it
  1974. 38:46
1975. seems strange doesn't it yes right
  1976. 38:48
  1977. it's a it's to cause somewhat of a
  1978. 38:52
  1979. distraction or a deflection I guess I
  1980. 38:54
1981. should say you know what I mean if they
  1982. 38:56
1983. can shift the narrative to in this
  1984. 38:58
1985. particular case to this horrible former
  1986. 39:02
1987. DC detective who's really just you know
  1988. 39:04
1989. just talking about you talking about me
  1990. 39:06
1991. disappeared into that you seem like a
  1992. 39:08
  1993. nice guy
  1994. 39:09
1995. focus being focused on who killed this
  1996. 39:12
  1997. guy
  1998. 39:12
1999. listen to what I'm saying let's see and
  2000. 39:15
  2001. I think they've been somewhat successful
  2002. 39:17
2003. which shift what sifting then absolutely
  2004. 39:19
2005. we went to the cry what's the crime
  2006. 39:22
2007. scene I knocked on doors a lot of the
  2008. 39:25
2009. people I talked to said no one not about
  2010. 39:27
2011. any doors no one said hey did you see
  2012. 39:30
  2013. anything which normally collecting
  2014. 39:32
2015. witnesses near the crime scene is pretty
  2016. 39:34
2017. much 101 I went to the convenience store
  2018. 39:37
2019. which is cata corner from W and Flagler
  2020. 39:39
2021. and asked for the camera footage and got
  2022. 39:44
2023. really kind of an aggressive response
  2024. 39:46
2025. from people coming to the store third
  2026. 39:49
2027. parties in kind of an intimidating
  2028. 39:51
2029. fashion so somehow that's lost it could
  2030. 39:56
2031. be a store footage is lost the police
  2032. 39:58
2033. department has that they do each
  2034. 40:00
2035. department has been camera foot have you
  2036. 40:01
2037. got the money of it I haven't think I
  2038. 40:03
2039. can see it I haven't seen it now they
  2040. 40:04
2041. tell me how I need it but I need to see
  2042. 40:06
2043. it I don't need if emily is not a
  2044. 40:08
2045. Georgia look at what I said I can't see
  2046. 40:11
2047. so you've been told the convenience oh I
  2048. 40:13
2049. was told of the video but but I was told
  2050. 40:15
2051. that it doesn't really so much well what
  2052. 40:18
2053. would it then why can't we see it so
  2054. 40:22
2055. there's really more questions than there
  2056. 40:23
2057. are answers at this point but where did
  2058. 40:26
2059. you get the name Wingate Robinson you
  2060. 40:28
2061. said I know that was one of the officers
  2062. 40:29
2063. on this thing yeah have you heard
  2064. 40:31
2065. anything about that person well there's
  2066. 40:33
2067. a strong tie to John Podesta Georgetown
  2068. 40:36
2069. he ran track for Georgetown and he was I
  2070. 40:39
2071. think he was running back at Georgetown
  2072. 40:42
  2073. and I I don't know what kind of
  2074. 40:44
2075. connections to the Podesta's since then
  2076. 40:46
2077. but I do know had Heather Podesta the
  2078. 40:49
2079. previous wife of his brother Tony is has
  2080. 40:53
  2081. strong ties with
  2082. 40:54
2083. DC police I think and that's where
  2084. 40:57
2085. pressure could be coming from and I
  2086. 40:59
2087. think almost a kind of a fatherly
  2088. 41:02
2089. interest in in Australoid Gate
  2090. 41:05
  2091. Robinson's so I just think everyone
  2092. 41:07
2093. wants to see at arm's length
  2094. 41:09
2095. relationship in the investigation and
  2096. 41:13
2097. can't understand why these normal things
  2098. 41:15
  2099. don't happen right so I think that's and
  2100. 41:20
2101. his odd because I published all the
  2102. 41:22
2103. badge numbers and I published all the
  2104. 41:23
2105. names but his name was capitalized
  2106. 41:25
2107. almost like if you're pressed talk to
  2108. 41:28
2109. this guy because you know it was just an
  2110. 41:30
2111. odd passenger not pressed for me
  2112. 41:33
2113. well those are really all the questions
  2114. 41:35
2115. that I had George anything else I want
  2116. 41:37
2117. to talk about yeah I have a couple I
  2118. 41:39
  2119. mean with the ShotSpotter
  2120. 41:40
2121. be able to I mean that 22 sounds a lot
  2122. 41:44
2123. of 4438 right would it be able to
  2124. 41:47
2125. determine the caliber of the gun not
  2126. 41:50
2127. precisely but it it give you a pretty
  2128. 41:52
2129. good idea did they share that
  2130. 41:54
2131. information with you that I didn't need
  2132. 41:56
  2133. to see it okay
  2134. 41:57
2135. why so oh that's what you're told your
  2136. 41:59
2137. ID to see it I don't need to see it so
  2138. 42:01
2139. there was an I mean it's really an
  2140. 42:03
2141. instruction of your investigation it was
  2142. 42:05
2143. it it was an FBI car that was
  2144. 42:08
2145. burglarized the FBI offered $10,000
  2146. 42:10
2147. there was a weapon stolen but more
  2148. 42:14
2149. importantly a radio secure radio that
  2150. 42:17
2151. was missing any connection it's odd it's
  2152. 42:22
2153. see what seems odd to me is the FBI
  2154. 42:24
2155. would offer the $10,000 for the recovery
  2156. 42:26
2157. of the radio but not offer $100,000
  2158. 42:29
2159. let's say for the recovery of
  2160. 42:31
2161. information relating to Seth Rich's
  2162. 42:33
2163. death yeah I can't say anything about
  2164. 42:35
  2165. God okay I want to but I can't imagine I
  2166. 42:39
2167. want to but again what do you what do
  2168. 42:41
2169. you think the odds are that you'll be
  2170. 42:43
2171. able to publish your report we're
  2172. 42:45
2173. working my attorney is working with the
  2174. 42:48
  2175. family's attorney and we're trying to
  2176. 42:52
2177. reach some kind of a settlement they
  2178. 42:53
2179. adamantly do not want me here
  2180. 42:56
2181. and any information I have period no
  2182. 42:58
2183. matter what so we'll have to see where
  2184. 43:01
2185. it go okay is there have you been
  2186. 43:05
2187. involved in these cases where there's a
  2188. 43:07
2189. public right to know versus the family's
  2190. 43:09
  2191. wishes I mean I haven't yeah see because
  2192. 43:13
2193. it's interesting this murder case really
  2194. 43:16
2195. has become kind of the crux of the whole
  2196. 43:19
  2197. entire impeachment where it's a question
  2198. 43:22
2199. of Russia hacking or some internal
  2200. 43:25
2201. person leaking and irrespective of what
  2202. 43:28
2203. anyone thinks about the man who is the
  2204. 43:30
2205. president currently we're talking about
  2206. 43:32
2207. an assault on the Office of the
  2208. 43:33
2209. President of the United States and that
  2210. 43:35
2211. seems like a very serious matter to have
  2212. 43:37
2213. all of these things happening to really
  2214. 43:40
2215. obstruct the effective investigation of
  2216. 43:42
2217. this murder that is so important
  2218. 43:44
2219. absolutely yeah we're very concerned
  2220. 43:46
2221. about that and that's actually why we
  2222. 43:47
2223. asked you here today and we're really
  2224. 43:49
2225. happy they got to be in one of the two
  2226. 43:51
2227. it well the first two doors that you
  2228. 43:53
2229. spoke of but it's either a leak or to
  2230. 43:57
2231. hack at this point I need the right
  2232. 43:58
2233. Schumer and and shit for pushing the
  2234. 44:01
2235. hack pretty strong and or it could be a
  2236. 44:03
2237. leak and that answer is behind door
  2238. 44:07
2239. number three I'd really love to hide
  2240. 44:11
2241. they don't want me to see guys like
  2242. 44:12
  2243. crazy okay
  2244. 44:13
2245. well listen rod we really appreciate the
  2246. 44:15
2247. time I think we appreciate you angry
  2248. 44:17
2249. forthcoming as you should be nice
  2250. 44:18
  2251. meeting you
  2252. 44:19
2253. absolutely right hopefully we can speak
  2254. 44:20
2255. to you again in the future absolutely
  2256. 44:22
  2257. thank you
