  1. Vind: “You can still save some of what you have, if you continue to fight us, your race bears only the fruit the void can offer. Absolute annihilation, we are willing to show mercy.”
  2. Slik: “Postmartia is a great haven for refuges of war, and it also functions as a place that you can do your own thing without Galaxion interference. You’re empire will never be able rebuilt, but it would certainly be more desirable than becoming merely a memory of the Universe, don’t you think?”
  3. Vind: “Gonna be honest, it would be a shame to annihilate you entirely, we’ve never had such a worthy opponent, it would be our honor to erase you, but… if you persist with getting the better of us, then this flagship here will alone be able to entirely eradicate you and everything you have labored to build.”
  4. Saarkrell: “We will never bow to you!... erm, right guys?”
  5. Niyotic: ”The Galaxions have proven themselves incapable of defeat, our numbers are dwindling and our resources are thinning, while theirs only continues to prosper. Even if we manage to repel this invasion, we have no hope of taking on their Home Planet.
  6. Zeldraxx: But what of the people’s wishes, what would they say if we didn’t fight until the End. Further… while your deal is generous, your graciousness… I’m afraid I don’t see much more appeal to it over absolute annihilation, we Zirkovians value honor, there’s no honor in cowardice, there is honor in admitting defeat, and I think that is our best option.
  7. Niyotic: You cannot be so quick to generealize our people, some ddid not want or ask for this war, and in our time of strife, it is the next generation we should concern ourselves with.
  8. Slik: Allow me to make an alternate proposal, then. We will disable you as an empire, but you may keep your home and most of your people, though for reasons I’m omitting for now, it’d be in your best intereststo evacuate those seeking asylum.
  9. Saarkrell: How do you mean, disable? Mass EMP, deconstruction of our weapon facilities, scrapping of our armed forces?
  10. Slik: None of those are quite right, the idea I have in mind will indeed crumble any hopes you had of remaining an empire, but no one who seeks to live elsewhere will be damaged, so long as conventionally speaking, their fleet to freedom is soon.
  11. Zeldraxx: Your omissive tone is what is unnerving us. Still, I much prefer the compromise, what of you Saarkrell and Niyotic?
  12. Niyotic: So long as those who have suffered for a war they didn’t want receive peace, I care not what you’re omitting, the gamble is one I am willing to take, when this invasion began, we three were ready to face death… whether that is your omission or not, it doesn’t matter. I agree to this compromise.
  13. Saarkrell: I don’t trust this to end well! But then, I like the omission-- and whatever you do will be devastating regardless… The Tribunal has therefore decided, the compromise you suggested is our choice, take it or leave it.
  14. Vind: Very well. Slik this was your idea, so you call the shots.
  15. Slik: No one else will be dying, the only way you’ll find Death is by staying on your home planet.
  16. Slik: “Orsa, recall the troops.”
  17. Orsa: “Sir.”
  18. Slik: “Asarath, begin charging the Matter manipulator.”
  19. Asarath: “Yes, right away.”
  20. Vind: “With your permission, Slik, and that of the tribunal, we’d like to save the recording of this. Mostly for our young back home, you’ve spoken some valuable words and I believe of anyone, your wisdom and tenacity deserves to be remembered.”
  21. Saarkrell: “I’ll agree to this, so long as I can see it when it’s done.”
  22. Niyotic: “You truly surprise me, your graciousness. From the outside your savagery and ruthlessness show, but yet, even when you have the most reason to disregard our advice, you ask us for permission. Truly you are the most interesting empire we’ve ever faced. I grant you full leniency with the recording. Future generations of your planet are quite likely as important to you as ours are to me. I dare not neglect them this exchange.
  23. Zeldraxx: I could care less, So the tribunal has already decided. I will commend you for asking us for permission when you have more than enough power to blithely disregard our vote. I’ll admit that while I’ll still hate you, I admire your honor.
  24. Asarath: “The Matter Manipulator is charged, we await your input, Slik.”
  25. Slik: “Core-only disintegration.”
  26. Asarath: “Awaiting recall completion.”
  27. Orsa: “All wings have reported back, all casualties noted. You may fire when ready.”
  28. Slik: “Commence Primary Ignition.”
  29. (The Blue crescent on the ship charges up. It begins glowing and then with a small earthy sound, it powers down.)
  30. Saarkell: “We’re waiting.”
  31. Slik: “it’s already in motion, you should begin evacuating immediately, unless you wish for me to demonstrate what we did on a more barren area of the planet.”
  32. Niyotic: “If that won’t speed up the process, then I’m curious.”
  33. Zeldraxx: The ominous ambiguity is worse than whatever fate you’ve given us, we want to make sure you did something…
  34. Slik: “Very well, computer (receiving noise), aim an orbital strike for the North hemisphere, and bring up the Holo-demonstration (Reception taken noise.) screen.”
  35. (A shot of energy is fired from one of the rotating Alpha Cannons shown underneath the Sovereign, it blasts straight through the planets north pole, revealing a hollow core.)
  36. Vind: “That is… that’s terrifying. I mean, I commissioned the construction of this Obsidian Monstrosity, but I never realized how much that Matter Manipulator would be capable of.”
  37. Mayeena: That’s, legitimately worse than they deserve…
  38. Slik: “Oh stop making me out like I‘m a monster! I wasn’t the one who commissioned this to be built. But, for obvious reason, you realize now why I said to make evacuations quick, I take it?”
  39. Niyotic: “Yes, and despite how horrifying this development is, I commend you for giving us fair warning… Nyaleesha.”
  40. Nyaleesha: “Yes?”
  41. Niyotic: “Execute Order FL-33. Get anyone willing on a vessel to Postmartia. The rest may either go elsewhere or stay until the End.”
  42. Nyaleesha: “Very well, may I request leave? I do have a family that I wish to raise, my husband won’t forgive me if I stay here to die.”
  43. Niyotic: Leave granted, thank you.”
  44. Zeldraxx: “Out of curiosity, driven either by fascination or horror, how will the gravity field surround our Planet cope with this, will we have small islands still able to be inhabited or will it all be basically inert?”
  45. Slik: “Hard to say, the invasion of your planet instigated this vessel’s construction, we’ve never used a matter manipulator on this scale before. I’d say that only parts of it will crack away, I doubt as a static planet it will lose it’s orbital field of gravity, however it’ll be as inert as Galaxia is for us, though from what I’ve seen you’ll be able to cope with that.”
  46. Saarkrell: “Wait, hold on. We were behind the inspiration for that monster which shadow obscures our capital from the sun?”
  47. Vind: Oh yes, definitely. Part of it was frustration with the ineptitude of our previous one, but for the most part, I just wanted a new toy. Our old one was fairly dated, and your species definitely gave us the clue that we were going to need more. I didn’t expect to get something quite this extravagant, sure I planned it, but it’s a lot harder to take in a titanic scale when it’s on paper to when you command it in reality.
  48. Slik: “I’ll stop you there, Vind. Now is not the time. What we will say, your triumvirate-- is that conquest for us is an activity purely built to entertain us, I mean, you guys on the other end get it tough and while we may never be redeemed in your eyes, we also do our best to not succumb to hatred. In fact we’re also going to be losing out with this, we’re hard-pressed to find anyone as determined and honorable as you.”
  49. Vind: “Maybe we should just start colonizing Planets and pitting them against each other, make our challenge ourselves.”
  50. Slik: “Ahahaha, oh god no! Don’t you remember the aftermath of Broodwar”
  51. Vind: “That was a joke. Sorry, I don’t make them often.”
  52. Slik: “It was funny, if only because it was tragic, anyway! Your graces, I leave you now to your crumbly destiny. Just remember, the sooner the evacuation the better… while we may never be allies, and we may never even regard each other as friends, I’d like you all to know that we respect your audacity and willpower, even in your moment of peril you stand calm and fearless. The Galaxion Empire will remember you not as enemies, nor monsters, but as brave warriors, whose might and sagacity has outdone all of our opponents so far.
  53. Niyotic: I cannot speak for my others, but I admire your honor as well, and you beat us fair and square. You used no dishonorable tactics, nor any deception, you proclaimed invasion long before we had a chance to be caught off guard. I am relived beyond words that we will be remembered well, and that our younger generations may live on. You could have easily obliterated us entirely, but as you said, you aren’t monsters.
  54. Zeldraxx: It’s been an insightful and interesting annihilation to say the least. I’ve never seen this side of the Galaxion Monarchy, so forgive me if I was crass earlier.
  55. Slik: “Hey, don’t worry! I think if you hadn’t shown some underlying seething Vind here would have started firing chumps! You still composed yourself well, I felt seething but hey if you were doing to us what I was doing to you I can’t imagine I’d be acting much different.”
  56. Vind: “You’d be on the floor flailing like a child.”
  57. Slik: “Oh, shoosh you!"
  58. Mayeena: I’ll um, take this moment to remind both of you that the transmission is still going.”
  59. Slik: Oh yeah! Sorry that was probably morbid-- Sovereign out.”
