- fiada glenmoor signed on for a mission to knock out power to a significant chunk of seattle to facilitate another team's run to take down a major corp. on completion instead of payment, she got her sister arresting her. after a stint in hollywood correctional in feral seattle, she orchestrated a jailbreak following a prison riot that's still whispered about among corp guards in the region.

- Takaoka was hot goods. He was shuffled between the various west-coast for-prof correctionals, each vying to earn the prestige of carrying his name on their roster. Sadly, it became clear that prison had cowed Jin, and his notoriety faded fast. Before too long he was gen-pop again, and that's how he came to be in the cell adjacent Fiada Glenmoor the day of the '71 Heatwave. Any digital record of their conversations slagged in the riot, but it is known that he took part in the planning and staging of the insurrection. He was recaptured two days later, surrendering uneventfully in a liquor store downtown.

- By the time of the 2071 riots Thuzad was back in Seattle and temporarily flush enough to avoid work. He never physically met the participants in their jailbreak - he was there on the Astral Plane, watching metahumanity's desires for freedom and for order clash, using that conflagration as enlightenment. A chance encounter with the mage Fiada during the execution of her own escape spells, a chance phrase uttered in passing - and he was finally able to achieve shamanic awakening. Not that it did the prisoners any good.

- There's nothing cooler than chaining your explosions. For Fiada, the coolest shit ever was when, during the jailbreak, she managed to destroy twenty riot cops, a fuel truck, three guard towers, a significant portion of a main wall, and a nearby construction crane whose fall into the prison yard gave the escaping a convicts a clear path to the street outside. She'd barely finished hooting and hollering when she first heard the voice whispering in her skull.
