  1. Ah yes, Kaede Akamatsu. A girl who was, on the surface layer, a kind and charismatic girl. She was the vice-president to the Student Council, her fearlessness leading her a long way.
  2.
  3. But beyond the surface, was a much deeper and darker rabbit hole than anyone could have anticipated. Inside her mind, she was much more weak. A much less stable person, rather. And her view of the world was much, much darker as well.
  4.
  5. She saw the world as... hopeless, in a sense. Drowned out by the voices of many people struggling to get to the surface. To be famous. And she absolutely despised that. It was in human nature to want to be noticed, but even then, everyone was willing to step on other people to reach the top. And she had experienced it before, which is why she resented it so.

  9. It was a gray morning, as usual. The week before had been colorless, and it looked like it would be the same this week. She had her usual sailor uniform on. She didn't look much different than anyone else in her school. The only thing separating her from the others was the color of her hair, which was blonde instead of brown or black.
  10.
  11. She hopped off of the bus, grabbing her bag on the way. She watched the other girls swarm off of the bus as well, like water spewing from a broken pipe. They were all clumped in groups. This girl, however, walked alone.
  12.
  13. She was prepared for another day of 'excitement', as they put it. Even though it was a top-tier school, she still felt a lack of challenge. Her mind was excellent and sharp. She was able to pick out everyone from a crowd, even people she couldn't remember the faces of. She remembered each and every one of their names and could pinpoint them in a crowded room easily.
  14.
  15. The blonde-haired girl entered the building and began silently walking, only speaking to return a brief greeting to people. Her bag lagged behind her, Monokuma key chain knocking against the sides of the bag. She turned for her classroom, when all of a sudden her feet tangled together, toppling her over.
