Been a while, but I have a ton of meaningful things to update you on! Stream is going great, so let's get to some exciting features and changes already present!

▤▤▤MAI WAIFU:

▤ WHAT IS IT?
Mai Waifu is a Google Chrome & FireFox extention meant to give the best chat expereince possible in my channel. Any user may set a fictional (or real) character as their significant other they identify and adore (Waifu).


▤ WHY?
I want to stimulate the shy lurkers and engage them into conversating with the rest of the already active chatters. Empowering them is something I think is worth trying out. This extention will accomplish that without any chat clutter! Admittedly, this was an idea before the Mario Maker blow-up, but I still enjoy the idea of a unqiue chat culture that thrives in celebrating what we all enjoy =)


▤ HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once a waifu is set using an external website, it grants that user a new waifu badge in chat, just like sub badge. Anyone with the extention installed may click or mouseover the badge (like any emote) and reveal a HUD that tells everyone about that user (waifu, why she was chosen, a summary of her, fav anime/manga), and even their twitch stats relevant to my stream (sub'd since x, follow'd since y). All while being toggable to display at anytime, and can be kept within my chat only or all chats.


▤ HOW WILL IT NOT BE ABUSED?
I'm taking plenty of measures to ensure it won't become a meme-filled shitfest. I think the idea is cool if its respected and a trusted culture presets how to behave. Thus, subs will have a week to enjoy and utilize Mai Waifu before it goes public shortly afterward.

There are also plenty of gated actions, such as cooldown on image changes, summary changes, and profile information.

Most importantly, once your waifu is set, it is done for life. There is currently no way to change this from the user-end. I may introduce an option to change waifu, but it will be a punishment worthy of the shameful act of being indecisive (1 week ban? idk yet, punishment TBD)


▤ WHAT CAN'T WE DO?
There'll be enforcement to delete meme waifus or anything ironic. Otherwise, I openly allow you to do as you please. Fictional characters, real girls, whatever. This is your opportunity of expression. It will help me learn more about you! <3

tl;dr - Mai Waifu releases Dec 15. Extention open to everyone to download. Subs have priority to set waifu exclusively for 10 days. Afterward, everyone may join in once culture is stable and any launch kinks are solved! <3


▤▤▤ HUGE EMOTE UPDATE!
4th gen emotes are live, and I applied a lot of what I learned from what didn't work in 3rd gen. I've simplified the concepts to ensure detail is visible at 28x28 size.

▤ REMOVED: triUSA, triEU, triJPN, triGaze - the flag emotes were a reaction to SMM growth and worry that new audience wasn't much into my weeab/anime emotes. Once I realized that -WASN'T- the case, was eager to 180 back and dive further into those emotes I enjoy using/making/having! triGaze didn't come out well for its intention, so it was a easy drop.

▤ NEW: tri1 tri2 tri3 tri4 - my attempt at a multi-part emote, I choose Miia because of her snake body is unique for an extended canvas. I dislike multi-line emotes as they inherently promote chat degradation, but mutli-part horizontals are essentially masking the shortcomings of Twitch not allowing wider emotes like it used to before Q2 2013.

▤ EMOTE TECH:
- Can loop tri2 endlessly to extent Miia's body.
- Can combo tri2 into triSugoi for left facing snake body
- Can use triGropeR as a pretend-tale for left-facing snake bodies
- Can replace tri4 with other emotes as combo for Miia or snake body
- Can sandwhich triPantsu between tri2 and tri3 to "add" pantsu on Miia (LEWD!)
- Can use tri4 alone as a greeting wave
- Can use tri4 alone as a goodbye wave

Pretty cool, right?

▤ REDRAWN: triGropeL, triGropeR, triWaifu, triSugoi, triURRP - The tentacles now loook like actual tentacles and not oversized gas pumps. Waifu now matches the aesthetics of triGasm (more vibrant hair color, an actual expression), Sugoi now uses a better angle of 3/4's perspective and shows a more specific "approval/excited" face to not conflict w/ the greet-oriented Miia emote (also looks better too IMO).

triURRP was redrawn to make the vomitting more obvious, but now with Yugi's eyes closed, it needs more distinction to see that detail. tl;dr - 4-part Miia emote, 5 redrawn/improved emotes. 9 total!


▤▤▤ BEST GIRL

triUGH is an emote all about compromise. The intended expression didn't come out how I wanted, and I had to alter everything to make it work. I'll be replacing it with an emote meant for Best Girl. I want this slot to be a collaboration of the subs and community! I reviewed all the suggestions for emotes via the emote Google Form and most were poor for emote execution, however it gave me a solid idea of where I want to go with my remaining slot.

My emotes so far cover every major emotion except sadness and anger. So I've narrowed some distinct minimally normal-human ideas to push the envelope to an uncharted territory! Here's a 1week active poll on what I have narrowed for consideration for the next emote. Please vote and review the references, they'll help convey what I want.

▤▤▤ Woolly World Co-op is hype!

Dunno if you've seen, but co-op speedrunning in Woolly is the fucking hype! (Proof - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7Bw9_87BWw & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLF9X36qcH0 ) I still am adjusting to the physics of Woolly as its unmericifully different from Vanilla Yoshi, but with time I can adjust and get better.

I will learn IL's for World 1, memorize stamp locations and be able to help route and execute co-op World 1 with Stevtarr in the coming weeks.

The huge goal is to be able to do co-op speedruns with Stevtarr and show the best demonstration of co-op speedrunning yet (take that Borderlands 2!). It's a far off goal that may not see a realistic execution until 2017, but it'll be a fun journey!

Expect co-op lab sessions at least once a week~
