Personality

Before hiatus:
He was more of a shy type of person. He never really opened up to anyone and seemed to only talk when a certain member (1004) was speaking to him or with him. He's wasn't much of a talker onstage but was always confident in showing his talents (singing). He was a really isolated person and in almost every group photo, he would always have a gap form the group. Even though he has trained with a few members for a long time, he still acts awkwardly around them and just seems really small. He also did tons of kind actions, but they were always pretty secretive and anonymous. He also was pretty lanky and weak, never able to fight for himself.
After hiatus:
Later on, he took a really drastic change. He had become a REALLY tough person. He was super confident and seemed like a whole different guy. He worked out and got a really good body and was really the 180 of how he originally was. He became way more extroverted and was really open with his members. He began speaking a lot on stages and seemed way more happy in confident in showing what he can do. He also wasn't afraid to crack a joke. After the hiatus, tons of people became giving him more attention and he was liked much more after his change. HE also became quite the tsundere, being a cold person at first but later becoming a warmer person.
Background:
He had lived in a family who grew differently than his opinions. They all were really homophobic, and Hyeontak could clearly see that because they always made disgusted faces when they saw homosexual couples or situations. Hyeontak was a gay person himself and always kept this to himself because he was afraid that they might disown him. He always kept his sexual orientation to himself and never really mentioned the topic. At school, he was more of a wallflower rather than a common student. People didn't even know his name until his senior year of school, when his name was announced for his grad diploma. He later worked as a barista and bartender (for a gay bar, and nobody really knows about this job he has) and studied sociology and psychology on his free time. He secretly committed tons of time in acrobatics and working out, wishing for a change. He even began shooting lessons (legally) with guns because he wanted to be different.
