  250. A decorated soldier of the Alliance, Edward Hemlock came from Earth and followed in the steps of his parents. It was early in his career that he was moved into the ICA program, and moved his way up the N ranks, proving himself to be an effective soldier with a calm demeanor. It was after a tragic effect on one of the colony planets that Edward lost his arm, but also was awarded his N7 rank for his bravery in unconquerable odds. It was during his recovery that he was invited to enter the Destroyer Initiative, and during his training, received his suit of T5-V Destroyer armor, which endearingly goes by the name, Betty.<br><br>

  252. It was 2 years after the Reaper Wars that Commander Hemlock was one of the many considered to become a Spectre for the Council. However, due to bureaucracy and paperwork, it was instructed that Edward sought a mandatory psychological evaluation with a <a target="_blank" href="https://roleplay.chat/profile.php?user=Verity+Tomas"><span title="Sometimes, we make decisions out of pity, huh Doc?"> Doctor Verity Tomas</span></a> to bring to light his PTSD caused from the events of the Reaper Wars. However, after it was determined that he was still fit for duty, Edward sees the Spectre status arriving sooner than expected.<br><br>

In time, Edward began to make friends among the Citadel besides the Good Doctor (perhaps less a friend, but more an accomplice), eventually meeting <a target="_blank" href="https://roleplay.chat/profile.php?user=Risa+Mim+vas+Naleya"><span title="If only I knew the words to say like you do.">Risa Mim vas Naleya</span></a>, a curious Quarian, who shares a soft spot for the man, an artist, among many things. A very understanding to his blight to his mind. But he's never told her the full details, always keeping his mask on. A date was set, for a museum exhibit, to give her a means to thank her, the reasons he will never say outloud, but he wanted to make it... Special. Then, came the next curiousity, while going to the gun range, he spotted <a target="_blank" href="https://roleplay.chat/profile.php?user=Declan+White"><span title="Maybe we could have been allies. Might still have a chance.">Declan White</span></a>, a man whom he does not understand, and yet feels there is something more to, speaking to a Drell for a shipment of expensive liquors for this 'mission' he keeps hearing about. Approaching the clerk, one <a target="_blank" href="https://roleplay.chat/profile.php?user=Arokoh+Nian"><span title="You might be the only one to understands what I'm going though. And I wish it wasn't that way.">Arokoh Nian</span></a>, was attempting to find out more information about the man, but instead, found out more about how to...cook for a Quarian. A friendship is stirring, the two perhaps sharing more in common that just on the outside. Will she prove to be an ally? And will Edward and Declan meet under unhostile circumstances? Only time will tell.
