  3. EG’s Jojolity asks for cleverness and technique, which the emphasis on “catching WW lacking” by looking for opportunities in Mallory’s form switching and confounding Manish for the finisher serves well enough. [7]
  4.
  5. WW’s Jojolity asks for dynamism and power, which the strat doesn’t really argue. The finisher at the end certainly qualifies, but it’s the only real standout. My earlier comments asking for specificity in the combat routines come to bear here, especially with the use of arson. While Jojolity seems more like an afterthought both narratively and mechanically to the point that I find myself asking the counterfactual Jojolity question, I’m willing to give deference to the suppressive fire tactics: [6].

  9. Evergreen were tasked with “Use your abilities in clever, technical ways to overwhelm and outfox your opponents!”, which they go about by using them to counteract Lonely Hours and make solid usage of the tools at their disposal — **7**.

  11. Meanwhile, Willow Wisps were tasked with “Use your abilities in dynamic, powerful ways to overwhelm and crush your opponents!”, and apart from the fire and the finisher there isn’t much to put towards this one, either narratively or mechanically, but overall still enough for a **6**.

  15. Alright, time for JoJolity!

  17. Starting with Electric Grapevine, we have ‘use your abilities in clever, technical ways to overwhelm and outfox your opponents!’, well, you certainly played it as out*box*ers! Eh? Eh? Shoot Stammer, he wrote my material today.

  19. Aside from the general backpatting of ‘yep, you did good’ that I could put here, your abilities were used well, but where they truly shined was in the final play. I’m not knocking their uses in the counterplay sections, as they were used very well where it was possible to do so, but the plays felt more impactful in places where you had true control of the narrative. I feel that this work deserves a 7!

  21. Moving back to Willy Wonka, we have ‘use your abilities in dynamic, powerful ways to overwhelm and crush your opponents!’, which…

  23. I didn’t feel the impact of this, to be honest. There are the scraps of big, huge plays that could have happened- and I definitely feel the intent behind lighting things on fire, ripping apart trees, gathering big junk and pelting your opponents from all angles with it- but the execution feels consistently lacking.
  24.
  25. Until the final, major play, every beat seems to trail off as, and this is not a quote, but on observation: ‘we do this as setup for later’, and later never comes, or when it does, it’s a line of text that any reader, myself included, might miss.

  27. I can’t see me giving you guys any more than a 6 for this.
