Osprey and Yang Episode 5

The next day, bright and early at 6AM, The Garus are out on the back field of the ranch performing their drills. This time, Iori is running shoulder first to a tree, not only improving his DEF, but his POW judging by the pieces of bark that's breaking off of it. Meanwhile, across the field lies some cones in a line where Kyo is running between to make his SPD faster with better reactions. Their trainers, Osprey and Yang are currently sitting on the back poach in rocking chairs sipping cups of Orange Juice before the backdoor opens up and out step Raven and Hanzo who jogs to the field and sniff the ground like usual Tigers do. Raven yawns obnoxiously loud as possible before sitting down on a chair she pulled up between the twins and lean back in it.

"Ahhhh....So this is how you two train, huh?" She ask them as she pull a glass of orange juice and gulp it down. Her kids aren't fazed by her lack of manners partially cause they grew up with her and also cause whenever anyone else(Not them, they know better) point out her lack of manners, Raven usually flings whatever in her hand at them with strength that would make a Major Baseball Team eager to hire her.

"Yup." Osprey speaks up as Yang continues "No Gadgets, improvise." Raven nods in approval as she sips her juice as the twins continue with Osprey leading on. "Garus are adept at POW techs, we gonna make ours juggernauts in that regards." "Where the difference lies is.." Yang sips her cup as she adds on "Is their defensive strats...My Kyo will be more of a tank than Osprey's Iori." "Which means Iori will be much faster." He finishes for her as Raven absorb all of this and nods."Good, good...so with all of that said." She place her glass on the poach and crosses her arms. "When will you two join tourneys?"

"...." The twins stare at each other before shrugging. "Not sure." "Wasn't planning on any at the moment.." They shrug as Raven sighs and get up off the chair. "Get dressed, both of you." The twins only raise an eyebrow at her before she scowls "I'm entering you two in a Tag Tourney right fucking now." They instantly scampers to their feet and head inside to wash up and get dressed as Raven sighs and then chuckles as she turn back to walk inside the house, leaving the monsters outside as they train or in Hanzo's case, lay down on the grass.

It's about a good 30 mins with the twins getting ready after showering (Together as Raven found out upon walking upstairs to see both of them heading to the bathroom together before walking back downstairs with a casual look, not surprised at all.) that they get their monsters inside of their mom's van that she drove here. There, with enough room for all 6, humans and monsters with Osprey and Raven up front as the latter drives and Yang in the middle with Hanzo laying down in the middle as the two Garus are sitting in the back looking out the window and see the landscapes of Ylisse disappears as they head to the capital. Entering the highways, Raven decide to test her kids's IQs...

"Ok, so who can tell me what kinds of tourneys there are..." She awaits for an answer which Yang instantly gives. "Broad question, do you want the ranks or specific ones?" Raven smirks as she keep her eye on the road. "Good answer...Tell me the ranks, Yang." "...There's 6 ranks with E,D,C,B,A and the top being S. In order to progress to the next rank, one must win the Official AYM Bowl for your current rank be it Tag or Solo held at the end of every month bringing in the new season." Not to be outdone, Osprey steps in. "There are different kinds of tourneys as well. Solo is the regular one with only one trainer entering from a ranch. Tag is 2 trainers--from a different ranch or same one-- entering together. These tourneys can also be broken down to another level....Death Blow, where only KOs ends the match or forfeiting, POW or INT Only tourneys, Groups where monsters of the same group can compete, and Tribes where only one species is allowed."

Raven hums in approval, liking how her kids are well-versed in the career so far..

"Good..good...Now, this tourney I'm gonna enter you two in is called the Dove Cup. A basic 2-tag tourney with 4 entries in a single elim bracket." Raven sees the Registration Office close as they enter downtown and look for a spot to park. Finding said spot, she parks their van and rolls her shoulders as they all get out. Where instantly, cries of "OH GOD, IT'S KILLER QUEEN HERSELF!!" and "RAVEN BRANWEN!!!!" are shouted loudly as they walk towards the office. If the twins were alarmed or even shocked by the reception of their mom's rep, they never show it since they are quite used to this growing up as kids. "It never ends..." Raven sighs as she flips her hair dramatically, erupting even more cheers "Get used to the fame once you begin to win a lot of tourneys, my birdies...it's a double edge sword."

"It's a weapon of some sort?" Yang whispers to Osprey who shrugs as Kyo and Iori follow them closely. While Kyo is merely staring ahead, ignoring the people looking at them, Iori looks positively agitated by the attention and is snarling loudly. Loud enough to get Raven's attention who look down at him. "You sure pick a sociable one, Osprey..." "He just don't like unnecessary things.." He replies as he rubs Iori's head to calm him down.

"(You and me both, little guy...)" Raven muses to herself as they approached the building. It's a building and yet that's not the right word for it. It's more of some sort of a dorm building that have at least 6 separated towers dedicated to each rank for trainers to register for. All of them connected to the main hub in the front of them all as the Branwens enter and come face to face to a giant golden statue of the Hero-King Marth in a fountain with a lot of expensive Ylissian Goldfishes swimming. "Well...here we are..." She spread her arms out as the twins and their monsters look around with bored looks. Raven knows that deep down, they are excited judging by how they are fidgeting their hands in their jacket pockets. "C'mon, let's go to the Rank E building."

They walk over to the left and enter the hallway that leads them to a 3 min walk to the Rank E building where a bunch of banners showing the colors for the nation are hanging from the ceiling, not impressing any of them due to various reasons of indifference or annoyance. They enter the building and see plenty of their peers registering for tourneys in different booths spread around the rather big room. To do so, one must walk to a booth and use the electronic system there that ask for your name and Breeder ID to register you and the monster for the tourney. It's a first come-first served idea however, so you have to be quick with it. "Now...let's head over here."

Raven leads her kids and the monsters to a booth in the upper right corner where the twins recognize two girls from yesterday with blonde and red hair. "Ok, we're the 3rd registered team, Pyra...we have to train hard so we can win with no effort involved." Mythra crosses her arms underneath her impressive bust as Pyra groans with Homura standing next to her. "Yes, but you don't think we're being too hasty with this? This is next month and so soon...we won't have much time to train." "Pfft.." Mythra roll her eyes at Pyra's uncertainty. "We're gonna be fine. Pyra...the first 2 teams are literal cannon fodder for us to breeze through, and I am sure the last one will be as well."

"Are you sure about that?" Raven's cocky voice ring out once she gets near them with the twins behind her with their bored and apathy-filled expressions. Mythra whirled around with a scowl. "And who the he-GAH!!!" Before rearing back with Hikari moving out of her trainer's way as she points at Raven. "Yo-Yo-You're Raven Branwen!!!" And upon seeing the twins, she covers her blushing face. "And behind you are...are...the Branwen Twins!!"

"Yes, yes, we know who we are..now can you step aside so my lovely birdies and their monsters register for the tourney here?"

Mythra stammers out of the way while Pyra is more composed and step out of the way as the twins walk up and begin the process of signing up. Mythra slowly walk next to Osprey(Ignoring the death stare Iori is giving her for getting too close to his trainer, his pupils turning to silts.) and clears her throat. "SO!...Osprey...Ho-how you been?" He briefly glance at her before going back to the screen, typing in his name and ID while Yang does the same on the other one. "Fine."

"(Ouch...the one word response...)" Raven covers her smirk with her hand as she watches this girl trying to get her son's attention badly. "Uhhh..Co-cool!" Mythra smiles nervously as she place her hands behind her back and gulps. "So-So...entering this tourney with your sister, eh? I-I'm doing the same with my own, Pyra over there!"Pyra weakly wave as she watches her usually cool and confident sister stumbles around this stranger. "(Must be his fashion sense...)" She muses as Mythra continues. "Ye-yeah! So..." She look over and see Hikari behind her as she eyes Iori who is this close to attacking her. "I-I-I see your Zabel is quite the combative one..." SHe sweats and pales as Osprey turn and frowns at him. "Iori, chill." Iori grumbles as his eyes turn back to normal and crosses his arms as he still glares at Mythra before turning and stomping off to stand next to Raven and Hanzo. Getting the blonde and her monster to sigh with relief that their lives aren't in danger anymore.

"Well..." Feeling a bit better now that her life isn't in danger. "So with you 2 entering, that means the Dove Cup is now full..which means.." As Mythra continues to talk, Osprey's thoughts begin to take over. "(....just thought of a cool story idea, i'm gonna ask Yang do she wanna draw it out while I think of the dialogue and setting..also, maybe we can complete Stormy Scream for the music for the background...Huh...nice...maybe mom wanna get in it as well?)"

"Osprey?"
The male stop typing as he is almost done and turn his head slightly to Mythra who looks puzzled. "Were you listening?"
Before he could even respond that he wasn't. Raven beat him to it. "Partially, but to be fair, you were talking his ear off while he was busy registering him and Iori here..." Mythra feels kinda embarrassed as Raven walk up to them with her arms crossed. "But no worries..." She smirks and rest a hand on Osprey's shoulder who's done now and turn to look at his mom. "I'm sure he's looking forward to facing you and your sister in grands, right Osprey?"

"Yeah."

Hearing him confirming that makes her smiles widely before she clears her throat and flips her hair with a smirk. "Good...Since we're both new, it's best that we train hard to not leave the other in the dust...with that settled, I expect you to meet me in the finals, i won't accept you losing to anyone except me.."

"(Well, glad she's back to normal..)" Pyra smiles nervously before nodding as she waves at Mythra behind the Branwen's backs "Sister! we should get going so we can get started on training!"
"Of course." Mythra nods as she flips her hair and smirks at Osprey. "Well, Osprey, I shall see you then. " And she walk off while swaying her hips with her sister and their monsters as Osprey watches her from the back until his neck get wrapped by Raven's arm and pulled close to her who have a shit-eating smirk on. "Awwww...my little birdie have a girlfriend~"

"I'm sorry?" he raise an eyebrow at Raven who merely sighs at her son's oblivious... "Well..that girl basically wanna take a ride on your disco stick.".
"...."
"....Osprey, she wanna breed with you."
"...Oh..."

Raven groans and let him go. "Well, I'm sure Yang knows i'm right..right?" She turn around and don't see her or Kyo... "...Yang?" She look around frantically. "Osprey, you seen where your little sister went?" "Mom, she's not little...and no, I didn't."

The mother face palms. "Goddamnit, it's Walmart all over again..." She groans as she look around before spotting her daughter's blonde hair in the distance. "There she is...let's go." As Raven drags her son along with her, she can see Yang talking or in her case, listening while nodding to some girl with a bow tie in her hair who have an Eared Mew resting on her shoulder as she pat some book in her hand towards Yang with a smile.

"Hold." Raven stops instantly and drags Osprey behind a booth as she peeks over and watch.... "Hooooly shit...both my kids are getting some bonafide pussies..."

"Huh?" Osprey raise an eyebrow at her. "What are you saying?" He peek over and is confused as to why Yang is just nodding and nodding until she takes her hand and turn around to look for them, not seeing the sudden blush on Blake's face as she walk around to look for them. "Mom, she's looking for us." "Yeah, I know..." Raven clears her throat and walk out from the booth and shouts "Yang! Am I glad to see you, daughter who I haven't lost for the 55th time in public!"

"Mom." Yang stops and turn towards her while still clutching Blake's hand "This is Blake Belladonna, she apparently wanna see my drawings at my home." Blake for her part is clearing her throat. "He-hello, miss Branwen...You may not remember me like Yang don't..but you and my mom are--" "Oh, you're the Belladonna girl...I know you." Raven rubs her chin in thought as Osprey spies the book in her hand. "Oh, that's Evangelion..." He look at Yang now. "Yang like that series a lot." "I like the robots." She shrugs as Blake giggles and add on. "Of course, there's far more to the series than just giant robots..."

"So we're taking Blake home with us, she walked here so we don't have to worry about her driving behind us." Raven nods with a raised eyebrow."Huh...and who's gonna take her home?" "I will, she is close to the city unlike us..." _Yang replies to which Raven look at Blake with an shocked look. "You fucking walked all that path?" Blake nods. "I like to walk and read with my Akira here." Her Eared Mew meows and wave.

"I see....Well, let's go then."Raven nods and they all walked out, the mother noting how Yang and Osprey are both standing on different sides of Blake as she talk to them about their past. While both twins look indifferent, she can tell that they are listening intently due to how long their responses are.

She also know that they are also...interested in her in a certain way judging from their bottom reactions with their bulges beneath their jackets.
"That girl's gonna get opened up in so many ways tonight...glad I'm not spending the night, right Hanzo?" her tiger growls in agreement as they get into the van and drive off...
