BACKGROUND :
◆ charlotte was born in norwich, england, but was raised by her magic possessing parents in busan, south korea. as a pureblood, with two pureblood parents, magic was something part of her life. it was a bigger surprise to her when her parents told her that there are people who can't do magic at all. who she later learned to be muggles. her family always lived a pretty normal live, but behind shut doors was another story. charlotte had a surprisingly warm, pureblood, slytherin family. family always came first and she never knew of blood superiority. of course, as a child charlotte always enjoyed staying in or going to her grandparents. her grandparents' house was the coolest place on earth to her and she tried to spend as much time there as she could. however, she wasn't very lucky and couldn't go everyday liked she'd of wanted. so, when she wasn't at her grandparents' she was at home playing by herself. she hadn't a lot of friends, but she was pretty content with herself and the company of her family. though, when she was at her grandparents' house, she was snooping in anything that looked old and was magic related. it was by far her favorite thing to do. later when she was nearing the age of nine, her grandfather passed away and resulted with her grandmother moving in. which was a horrible time for her, but she got through it with her grandmother. during this time, her grandmother would tell her many stories daily and look through magic books with her. it wasn't up until that point that magic became something as close and influential to her. of course, before it was a normal thing but with her grandmother, she just took a whole new take to it. part of her was excited to go to hogwarts, while the other half just wanted to stay home for the rest of her life. it wasn't like she really had a choice, though. going to hogwarts was a must and so when the letter came there was no doubt in her that she'd miss her home. when it was actually time for her to go, it was like taking a child to the first day of kindergarten. charlotte was so nervous it was unbelievable. sadly, that nervousness did not seize as the day went by. she witnessed many friendships that day but none were hers. she actually hardly talked to anyone that day. luckily over the course of her first year, she did make friends, but not as many as most kids. after, making those few friends she decided that it was enough for her. she didn't really need any more friends and appreciated the ones she had. so she just closed off from everyone else. she became this unknown girl who you just always saw throughout the school. it just added when everyone realized "how slytherin she really was". it was almost funny that when she was seeking the attention of others she hadn't gotten any, but now that she didn't care for it anymore that's all she got. some people thought she was mute, by how much she didn't talk. her name was spread everywhere and hoards of whispers passed her when she was in the halls. everyone knew her, yet didn't. even professors heard of her as truest slytherin (even if that's not really the case). her 'popularity' eventually faded, but the rumors still lingered and formed. she was still the girl of the shadows, who has no past or true personality according to others who only knew her by her reputation.

PERSONALITY :
◆ charlotte han is someone who keeps to herself. known as someone very mysterious due to her quiet and reserved attitude. even described as rude or cold from time to time. it's quite the predicament for making friends, but she still has some. she actually truly cherishes the friendships she has and is extremely loyal to them. truthfully, she's satisfied with her current friends. she doesn't really see the need to make more. she's been called shy once or twice, but that's not the case. it's not hard to tell that she just doesn't care. she may not talk a lot, according to others anyway, but she's always listening. the majority of her day is spent on her own, so it's not hard to hear others conversations. occasionally she'll pop a word into conversations she's passing by, just to spook them. she's the girl "who sees and knows all", but ironically no one knows anything about her. she's heard tons of rumors, so many that it doesn't even phase her. let them think what they want, who cares. a lot of the time her and her friends get a good laugh out them, it's ridiculous what people come with. however, more times than not, she can get irritated by other people who aren't close to her. charlotte tends to be snappy and give sharp remarks to others who don't actually know her. when with her friends, though, she's just like anyone else. she enjoys her time with her friends. her friends know her well and the true her. charlotte is a slytherin with no doubt, just not necessarily to the extent everyone believes. she is quiet, yes, but she also speaks her opinion when with friends. she can be extremely stubborn and determined to get her point across. she's no push over and everyone can sense that, because even if she doesn't talk often she won't let anyone walk over her. when she got to hogwarts no one paid attention to her. ultimately causing her to become closed off and give a 'mysterious' aura. it was almost like she was disappointed no one wanted to be her friend, she had no clue why either. but, it just makes her appreciate the friends she does has. since rather than just looking at her and making up rumors, they actually got to know her. she isn't someone to care about what rumors are spread. she just dislikes the fact that they result to rumors rather than talking to her. she strongly believes when anyone out of friend group (excluding professors & such) who tries to talk to her, just want something or to confirm a rumor (which undoubtfully isn't true). when said events happen she either just walks away or gives a blunt reply. she's actually has had people come up to talk to her as a bet. over time she just became harder to approach, though, which in the end she came to terms with and sometimes prefers it.

HOW DID THEY MEET :
◆ charlotte was in the library studying. like usual she found a table all to herself and no one dared to sit at it. however, once taehyung came in that changed. once he saw her all deserted studying and he instantly decided to plop himself down next to her. since no one should be burdened to study alone, right? she hadn't noticed the whispers and gasps until he was sat right next to her. his smile threw her off since most people don't approach her so happily. unfortunately for him, though, before he could even finish introducing himself she's was up and out of her seat and heading for the door.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS :
◆ HIS ▫ "where is she going?? did she not like my smile or does my breath stink?? oh wait, she must be shy!"
◆ HERS ▫ "who the fuck is this, just another rumor seeker? i wonder what it is this time if i can breathe fire? whatever, i don't have time for this"

HOW DOES HE ACT AROUND HER :
◆ BEGINNING : would bet his life that she's just really shy. he would also bet his life that he can break that 'shyness'. obviously just regular tae, who tries to keep his bounds (he's not very good at it in her opinion). extremely puzzled as in why he doesn't know her, and questions if she's a new girl since he knows most people. gets hella confused when people give him looks when he approaches or talks to her. his goofball side doesn't really show because he doesn't want to scare her away more than he already has.

◆ MIDDLE : his friends argue that he likes spending more time with her than them. basically up her ass as much as he can. he just enjoys being with her and being himself. before he acted weird in a subtle way, now it just happens. he wasn't actually around her enough for to get a full read on him. now, though, he's himself and he likes to think it's a stepping stone in their friendship. especially since she seems to tolerate him well. he likes to joke with her a lot and get her to "live on the edge". he might have developed some feelings for her, but just brushes it off as him having a strong friendship with her. since he likes all his friends, you know.

◆ END : he just says hears her name it brings a smile to his face. qualifies her as one of his closest (if not best) friends and has grown attached to her. taehyung has plenty of friends, way more than her, but only the selected many really count and she's one of them. he really just acts like himself around her but can be a big softy. he really understands her, and her viewpoint on others. yet at the same time is glad he could shed some light on others views for her. in the end, though, he doesn't really care and just enjoys who she is.

HOW DOES SHE ACT AROUND HIM :
◆ BEGINNING : cAutious. everyone always has a want and its usually for themselves only. the number of times someone has tried to 'friend' her only to expose her is too many to count. so no matter what house and who they are she usually just strips herself from them. however, it's harder with him. she's tried a stern "don't talk to me" or "don't you have something better to do" multiple times but it just leads to him questioning her every response. she thought he would have known of her reputation but it seems not. she's often annoyed and even flustered by his persistence, yet secretly confused and almost pleased. she gets super embarrassed by his acts of 'friendship'.

◆ MIDDLE : she's still waiting for him to ask her some stupid question involving a rumor. she often gets panicky on the inside when she sees him in the crowd. but, she's finally coming to terms with being friends, but can't help but notice the increase of taehyung in her life. she doesn't see it as a bad thing, though, just not necessarily good either. she can't tell if she's more irritated or happy with his presence. she's like the best friend that has to nag the mischievous one. although she mainly whispers things to him not wanting to draw any more attention than he already has. she can get really defensive about her relationship with him(and even protective of him).

◆ END : charlotte might have developed a "small" crush on him, but will she ever admit that? no. she's content with her friendship with him and doesn't want to ruin it (she's also too stubborn to ever confess). she's really proud of her friendship with him and can't help but feel really appreciative towards him. he was the first friend she's made in years and he's really special to her because of that. her transformation from cold & distant to nice & warm has fully occurred by now and all is well. she just admires him so much for showing her that people can still be nice after doing wrong (even if it wasn't him personally). surprisingly she can get a little clingy with him, and it throws just about everyone off. except him, he kinda knew she was secretly like this. which is a mind blowing concept for her.

◆ ^while she's putting in ingredients he's continuously talking to her and she puts in the wrong thing, and the potion isn't the only thing that blew up.
◆ charlotte actually cheering and getting really loud and enthusiastic during a match, getting weird looks from everyone(if he plays quidditch, but if he doesn't then it'd just be them cheering together)
◆ she leaves one of her books in class or something and one of the other boys find it and return it to her and are like "oh yeah you're taehyung's girlfriend" and she just get flustered and kinda snaps at them
