70. SB:　I’m not sure what a… ‘country’ is, but were you born from that Sandstar yesterday? 「国…？っていうのはわかんないけど、昨日のサンドスターで生まれた子かなぁ？」
71. SB:　Born from Sandstar…? Well anyways, I want to go back to where I was. Do you know a good way for me to get there? 「サンドスターから生まれた？とにかく元にいた場所に戻りたいんだが、何が良い方法を知ってはいないか？」

130. ST:　Those’re all place with a few enemy soldiers standing around, see… The Snake is a specimen that’s trained itself to not be, you know, caught or spotted. 「若干や敵兵が、いろとことなので、そういったそういったとこで見つからないようにスネークあの、鍛えてきた個体で」

216. ST:　About Snake’s Design 「スネークのデザインについて」
217. ST:　When the idea of working on this came up, the first joke I could think of was whether or not I could even draw Snake. I already have trouble with male characters, but male characters with a stupidly realistic design were on a different level. So I just looked up images and used them as a reference, and the only thing that came out was some old guy who was under the delusion that he was Snake. 「今回もしスネを制作するにあたって、ネタを思いついたときまず考えたのが『自分にスネークをかけるのかどうか』でした。男キャラにはおろかリアル体型キャラすらまともに描いたことないので最初は画像検索しながら見よう見まねで描いたら『自分をスネークだと思い込んでいるこきたない小汚いおっさん』みたいになってしまいました。」

219. ST:　After that I went through a lot of ups and downs until I finally liked what I drew and could insert the lines well enough to distort his face right. 「その後、紆余曲折を経てなんとか今の描き方に落ち着きました線をシンプルに入れることでこれっぽくデフォルメできたと思います。」

220. ST:　Discarded Draft: Page 0 「ボツラフ：０ページ目」
221. ST:　This is a page I drew and thought I’d use before the first page of this volume. It was supposed to make it clear that Serval was on a tree, but reading this volume should make that obvious enough. I couldn’t make the time to finish it either, so I cut it out altogether. If there’s ever a reprint or a re-release, then maybe I can find the time to add it in. 「本編最初のページのその前に入れようと思って描いていたページ。サーバルちゃんが木の上にいるということを伝えるためのページですが本編見てたら分かるだろうってことと、単純に描く時間用意出来なかったのでカット。もし再版することになれば、追加で描き足すこともあるかも？」
222. ST:　Discarded Page: CQC 「ポツページ：CQC」
223. ST:　When I uploaded the beginning of this volume to Twitter, it turned out to be really popular. So I hurried up and redrew all the finished pages. Like how Snake used his right hand to catch the attack, and how his back was turned when he did the throw. The angle didn’t really fit well with the next pages, so I redrew it because people might question why Serval’s left hand didn’t get to him.  「本編最初をツイッターにアップしたら予想以外の好評だったので、急きょ完成していたページを描き直しました。最初は右手をつかんでいて、投げるときはスネークが背中向けているのですが投げる角度が次のページと合わないのと、サーバルちゃんの左手が当たるだろうと疑問に思っていたのでやり直しました。」
