  1. **Tridemon invited Gurashi over to see the new room he made!**
  2.
  3. Your snout twitches and trembles at the air, sensing through a striped badger nose upon your face the faint traces of others in the surrounding area.
  4. You make out the scent of Tridemon coming from A round chamber.
  5.
  6. You close your eyes and inhale deeply, absorbing the scent of your surroundings.
  7.
  8. You let loose a long breath from your lungs, exhaling slowly.
  9.
  10. A round chamber.
  11. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Leading from the living room to the east, the archway opens up into a round chamber that reaches up nearly thirty feet into the air. The floor is again made of the same golden, crystal-flecked and violet-whorled bamboo with its protective coating, but in this room there are also a series of depressions in the floor. The first is in the center of the room, and covered with a layer of bright orange padding with red poppies randomly distributed along the fabric. Directly next to that first depression is one that is significantly larger, with more padding, deep black and durable. A few more depressions with their own padding are interspersed throughout the space, though they have the same pattern to them- just pure white. In addition to being a different shape to the rest of the rooms of the house, the walls of this chamber are completely different from all the other rooms, as well- rather than wood leading up to decorative paper, or simply wood leading all the way up to the ceiling, the walls are covered in what look to be thousands and thousands of pieces of bright green jade, melded together and forming a tight weave resembling a wall of vines in an unbroken pattern, save for the archway that leads back to the living room. The jade vines themselves are not unadorned, either, with silvery script and symbols embedded directly into the material. Meditative mantras, defensive glyphs, symbols of concealment and reinforcement can all be found upon the lengths of interwoven jade vines. The ceiling in turn is also different from the rest of the house's theme. Instead of the blue stone tiles, the ceiling has taken on the luminous pigments of the sky of the Great Starry Sea, complete with deep, subtle, tidally slow pulses of aquamantic power washing down from above. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters lingers nearby, the air about him singing with the rush of the ocean. He wields a dazzling white staff crowned by a platinum pearl in his left hand.
  12. You see a single exit leading east.
  13.
  14. You have emoted: Gurashi very slowly pokes his head into the room, not making a sound.
  15.
  16. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks very slowly, taking a silent step inside.
  17.
  18. You think to yourself: *a growing sense of confusion and amazement...* ...it is like...
  19.
  20. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I thought a physical representation might help."
  21.
  22. You have emoted: Gurashi looks slowly at Tridemon, then again at the room, his expression unreadable. He takes another barefooted step forward, moving around the nearest depression and eyeing the cushion in the center of the room. Slowly his gaze drifts up, scanning the walls, turning slowly, taking each bit of jade decor in. And the ceiling... he looks up further, resting a hand on his chest as he stares up at the Great Starry Sea, at a loss for words.
  23.
  24. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Not sure how well it'll work for you, though. Might be better than sitting in the living room."
  25.
  26. Finally, very quiet, you ask, "... uhm - you... built this?" He asks, looking over at you, "To ...help me?"
  27.
  28. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Mm. Inspiration."
  29.
  30. You have emoted: Gurashi takes a deep breath, then holds it, looking around again, turning away.
  31.
  32. Tridemon settles down to sit in one of the depressions in the floor, away from the center of the room.
  33.
  34. The call of a cicada welcomes the setting of the sun and the coming night.
  35.
  36. You think to yourself: *a swell of appreciation, and gratitude, and fluttering butterfly feelings and, and -- an flash of the nearly destroyed exterior circle, colors sharp and angry looking against the gray walls ..... the feeling fades, replaced with struggling images of red fishes, calming red fishes*.
  37.
  38. You have emoted: Gurashi does not make to sit down, again slowly looking around the room in a daze. "Is so much like the real thing..."
  39.
  40. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "That was kind of the point."
  41.
  42. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down at his lute in his hand, then slowly approaches the cushion in the center of the room. He tests its firmness with his foot, sinking a bit before taking another step. He drops to his knees in one fluid motion, setting his lute in his lap and looking about himself. Then he looks over towards Tridemon, blinking.
  43.
  44. You think to yourself: .... *red fish.... red fishes - calm red fishes*.
  45.
  46. Tridemon just kind of lounges in place, stifling a small yawn. "Mm. Sorry, still a little tired."
  47.
  48. Voice bright and clear, you say to Tridemon, "...you are O-K. I do not expect you to do anything."
  49.
  50. Voice bright and clear, you say, "Not am I wanting to do anything..."
  51.
  52. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up at the ceiling again, squeezing his instrument tighter.
  53.
  54. Nodding at the other depression, you ask, "... for...?"
  55.
  56. Tridemon points to the depression in the center. "You." And then to the depression directly next to it. "Bizirik."
  57.
  58. The depths of the dark of night herald a new beginning, and a new chance to make the world a little better.
  59. It is now the 14th of Shanthin, 557 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  60. There are 29 days until the New Moon
  61.
  62. You think to yourself: *a sharp pain at the mention of the name*.
  63.
  64. Voice bright and clear, you say, "...oh. Right."
  65.
  66. You have emoted: Gurashi looks at the empty space, furrowing his brow. "...thought she would be back by now," He says, expressionless, voice flat. "Miss Khep hasn't been back. But, neither have the other two."
  67.
  68. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Well... Part of that's nice, anyway."
  69.
  70. You have emoted: Gurashi pulls in his legs and nods silently. He folds his arms over his knees and again stares hard at the empty space, mushing his cheek against his wrist.
  71.
  72. Ponderously, you ask, "Is there like, a spell that makes you forget stuff?"
  73.
  74. Tridemon tilts his head curiously.
  75.
  76. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Not... really? Not that I know of. The amnesia that adventurers inflict just makes you forget what you were doing."
  77.
  78. You have emoted: Gurashi makes a face. "Oh."
  79.
  80. Tridemon shrugs helplessly.
  81.
  82. You have emoted: Gurashi cannot hide his disappointment, nodding. "That is O-K - was just wondering. Because, like, if the Portal can do it..."
  83.
  84. Voice bright and clear, you say, "...peoples are clever."
  85.
  86. You nod your head emphatically.
  87.
  88. You have emoted: Gurashi looks around the room again tiredly, listening to the changing noises of the manse and observing the changing light beyond the door's threshold. "Was just a hypo-thetical anyway."
  89.
  90. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Adventurers can't manage it. Couldn't tell you if anyone else could. Ripping out memories, shoving someone into a timeloop..."
  91.
  92. Tridemon shrugs helplessly.
  93.
  94. You have emoted: Gurashi purses his lips. "...mm..."
  95.
  96. With a resigned sigh, you say, "O-K."
  97.
  98. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down at the cushion, plucking at one of the poppy patterns. "You have noticed have a favorite," He comments, trying to be light-hearted. "Also cannot help but notice," He gestures to the bright orange fabric. "Is perfect hue of orange-noxious."
  99.
  100. Tridemon nods his head sagely.
  101.
  102. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "No orange beach. Just orange fabric."
  103.
  104. An orange beach briefly appears.
  105.
  106. **and then I timed out because the world ended**
  107.
  108. You flop down onto the ground.
  109.
  110. Tridemon pats you in a friendly manner.
  111.
  112. Voice muffled by the pillow, you say, "Hhhh hhhr."
  113.
  114. Tridemon tilts his head curiously.
  115.
  116. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Hrrr hrrm. Hrr."
  117.
  118. Tridemon shifts his eyes suspiciously from side to side.
  119.
  120. You have emoted: Gurashi turns his head to the side, giving Tridemon a puzzling look.
  121.
  122. Tridemon pats you in a friendly manner.
  123.
  124. You have emoted: Gurashi drops his head against the pillow again, closing his eyes. "Am so sorry about before - do not know what happened..."
  125.
  126.
  127. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Eh. Things happen."
  128.
  129. You think to yourself: *heavy, heavy feelings. heavy tired. heavy distracted. heavy worry*.
  130.
  131. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Stare up at the ceiling instead of the floor. It's much nicer."
  132.
  133. You have emoted: Gurashi remains an unmoving lump upon the ground.
  134.
  135. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Hmm."
  136.
  137. Tridemon reaches over to start balancing citrus fruits on your unmoving form. A lemon, an orange... several grapefruits...
  138.
  139. You have emoted: Gurashi furrows his brow, then barely casts a sidelong glance in Tridemon's direction, remaining still even as fruits are piled.
  140.
  141. You think to yourself: .....where is even coming from.
  142.
  143. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "... Does this count as being avant-garde?"
  144.
  145. Watching with half-lidded eyes, you say, "Uhm... do not know what that is so - yes."
  146.
  147. Tridemon nods his head sagely.
  148.
  149. You have emoted: Gurashi lays still a few moments more... then finally shifts, causing the fruits to tumble and roll away. "Am not picking them up," He mumbles, sitting up.
  150.
  151. Tridemon nods and retrieves the fruits, putting them away.
  152.
  153. The soft sounds of a zither being played and the cry of a crane in flight echo in from somewhere.
  154.
  155. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks, managing to scoop up a single orange before you are able, offering it. "Juuust kidding." He says, smiling finally.
  156.
  157. Tridemon accepts the orange, solemnly.
  158.
  159. Aquamantic symbols suddenly project themselves upon the very air in dark blue light, fading after a brief moment.
  160.
  161. You have emoted: Gurashi drops his hands into his lap, rolling is head on his shoulders as he looks around the room again. He seems restless, staring intently at a patch of ceiling.
  162.
  163. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Still no sign of Khep or Bizirik?"
  164.
  165. You have emoted: Gurashi looks towards Tridemon again, forcing a tight-lipped smile. "No."
  166.
  167. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "... Well, this place is here to help you with your meditations."
  168.
  169. Faint strains of music precede Euterpe, Muse of Music as she waltzes in, handing you a snarling ebon jackal sky lantern, and just as shortly waltzes out again.
  170.
  171. You blink.
  172.
  173. You have emoted: Gurashi eyes Euterpe as she waltzes in and out, clutching the lantern and giving it the once-over before setting it aside.
  174.
  175. You think to yourself: ...... *trepidation - imagining the wall of vines - whatever did all that damage, out there...*.
  176.
  177. Quietly, you ask, "... you are thinking I should try to look for them...?"
  178. Shadows swirl around your arm as the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree digs itself more painfully into your finger.
  179.
  180. You think to yourself: .... *reds and mauves... heavy, heavy feelings - red fishes, red fishes - ohh, what lovely jade walls, yes, we'll look at those*.
  181.
  182. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "If you like. Or you can take your time and reinforce your walls. There are concepts scribed into these vines to help with either. Reaching out, healing yourself, strengthening mental defenses... I got the idea from the Chamber of Clarity."
  183.
  184. You tilt your head curiously.
  185.
  186. Tredly, you say, "...scribed..."
  187.
  188. You have emoted: Gurashi looks at the walls again, squinting, then climbs off of the pillow, moving on his hands and knees to the nearest wall. He examines the decoration closely. "...that is a lot of intricate-ness," He whispers, letting his temple rest against the wall.
  189.
  190. Voice bright and clear, you ask, "... oh - is that in Tosha...?"
  191.
  192. The call of a cicada welcomes the setting of the sun and the coming night.
  193.
  194. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Mmhmm."
  195. Aquamantic symbols suddenly project themselves upon the very air in dark blue light, fading after a brief moment.
  196.
  197. You have emoted: Gurashi lifts his head from the wall, listening to the lone cicada as it prepares for the night. Slowly he crawls back towards the pillow he'd occupied previously, exhaling.
  198.
  199. Folding his hands in his lap, you say, "Should look closer next time..."
  200.
  201. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I think that what's in the chamber of clarity is mental exercises on controlling and calming your own mind and mental state... I just applied the idea slightly differently."
  202.
  203. You have emoted: Gurashi sniffs, nodding in understanding as he presses his thumbs together, head bowing forward.
  204.
  205. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Try to concentrate on one concept or mantra at a time. Taking in the whole thing at once is unlikely to be productive."
  206.
  207. You think to yourself: ....... *inky blackness.... tired, tired, dark, c'mon c'mon - O-K, finally, a bit of green dredges up, familiar winding shapes. Oh, but they are still discolored. Still dull. The jade in the room is striking compared to the vines here, now, a sad muted seafoam*.
  208.
  209. You think to yourself: .... *uncertainty of where to even start*.
  210.
  211. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Healing is not merely the act of restoring what was lost. It is an opportunity to rebuild, stronger, better."
  212.
  213. The depths of the dark of night herald a new beginning, and a new chance to make the world a little better.
  214. It is now the 20th of Shanthin, 557 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  215. There are 23 days until the New Moon
  216.
  217. You think to yourself: ... *the wall of vines seems to pulse with color, brighter, then dim again .... a recollection of the screams of that other kephera, the sad one, that hurt one - could she be healed, too? ... *.
  218.
  219. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Nothing is lost that is willing to be found. All that is mortal can be made new."
  220.
  221. You think to yourself: .... mortal ... can be made new?
  222.
  223. You think to yourself: *...a wave of dread. Distracted - trying to focus on the vines, task at hand, make them strong. But it's too hard to not ponder those splotches of color and what did we do? Gah, pay attention, focus on making them better, and when they're better then Bizi will come back, and then Miss Khep will come back*.
  224.
  225. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "A willing heart will heal. An unwilling heart... well, sometimes, you just need to kick it until it becomes willing."
  226.
  227. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "This is a concept which can occasionally be applied to gnomish devices or even complex enchantments: Percussive maintenance."
  228.
  229. You have emoted: Gurashi reaches up, dragging his arm across his face as he sniffs. "Percussive maintenance?" He repeats back, keeping his eyes closed, trying to maintain the visual of the vines.
  230.
  231. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "If it stops working, hit it until it starts again."
  232.
  233. Weakly, you ask, "You want me... to hit the vines...?"
  234.
  235. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "No, no. That's unlikely to work, for one."
  236.
  237. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "No moving parts."
  238.
  239. The sounds of unseen animals stirring for the coming day are audible behind the gentle whistling of the wind elsewhere in the manse.
  240.
  241. You have emoted: Gurashi bows his head, uncertain.
  242.
  243. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "For another, I was referring to... Nepha, I think it was? Sometimes applied violence is the correct method of attitude adjustment. Though come to think about it, that might just backfire terribly."
  244.
  245. You think to yourself: *the mention of the name - no, not quite--**.
  246.
  247. Weakly, you say, "Nepra."
  248.
  249. You think to yourself: **the noises of the hive swell fretfully at the very mention of the name, before dimming again**.
  250.
  251. You think to yourself: ........ ominous.
  252.
  253. Weakly, you say, "But... I do not want to fight her... or, hit her..."
  254.
  255. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Mm. Then build up your walls. You might not need to hit her or fight her. But you will likely need to end up resisting and restraining her."
  256.
  257. You think to yourself: *gentle encouragement towards the vines... though they don't seem to be responding. No, this heavy worry, heavy feeling, ugh go -away-* Restraining her...?
  258.
  259. You twiddle your thumbs.
  260.
  261. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "You've seen what the disc of Nature does to enemies who walk into the room they protect?"
  262.
  263. You have emoted: Gurashi nods, leaning slightly in his spot before sitting up straight. "...you want me to do that to her?"
  264.
  265. Quietly, you say, "If she comes back..."
  266.
  267. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "It'd be better than hurling nightmares at her or stabbing her through the brain, or just letting her ravage everything."
  268.
  269. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "So! Strength and flexibility. The ability to grow and grasp."
  270.
  271. You think to yourself: *O-K. O-K do not give up. C'mon you vines, re-juvinate! The vines grow forth just the barest amount, trembling... slow.... but, growing... maybe? they shudder to a halt again, met with a feeling of frustration*.
  272.
  273. Weakly, you say, "Am listening."
  274.
  275. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Hmm."
  276.
  277. Tridemon ponders you thoughtfully, looking you up and down.
  278.
  279. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I think those heavy feelings are weighing down your ability to work on this."
  280.
  281. You have emoted: Gurashi is very aware he is being stared at. "....oh."
  282.
  283. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Have you examined them and made sure they're actually yours?"
  284.
  285. You think to yourself: *a rush of embarrassment - all at once the color drains from the vines again, leaving the mindscape - and inner circle - a stark grey* .......
  286.
  287. You think to yourself: .... do not know what else they would be.
  288.
  289. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Mm."
  290.
  291. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Would you like to go sit in the room behind the steel door, then?"
  292.
  293. You have emoted: Gurashi furrows his brow in confusion. "....ah," He exhales sharply, "am not moping," He insists.
  294.
  295. You think to yourself: *but I am*.
  296.
  297. You open your mouth to say something, but speech fails you.
  298.
  299. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "... uh... could you make sure there's not more than one of you inside of your own skull?"
  300.
  301. You blink a few times and stare at Tridemon in confusion.
  302.
  303. You have emoted: Gurashi finally opens his eyes, letting the mindscape vanish with the light of the room. "What?"
  304.
  305. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Well. No one except yourself, anyway."
  306.
  307. Confused, you say to Tridemon, "Do not understand."
  308.
  309. You think to yourself: ...more than one of me? More of me? Why would be more of me is just me.
  310.
  311. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I have a vague, probably inaccurate suspicion that there's, like, six of Nepra living inside of her own brain. Personalities under stress can splinter and separate. Make sure that the inside of your mind is whole?"
  312.
  313. You have emoted: Gurashi claps his hands on either side of his head, staring at Tridemon with wide, frightened gray eyes. "How do I do that?"
  314.
  315. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Well... I'm less than sure about that. Just imagine your mind as a sphere. Keep the very first impression that you imagine firmly in mind and inspect it."
  316.
  317. You stare at Tridemon, eyes wide.
  318.
  319. Voice bright and clear, you say, ".....O-K."
  320.
  321. You close your eyes and inhale deeply, absorbing the scent of your surroundings.
  322.
  323. You let loose a long breath from your lungs, exhaling slowly.
  324.
  325. The call of a cicada welcomes the setting of the sun and the coming night.
  326.
  327. You have emoted: Gurashi shuts his eyes, hearing the cicada again....
  328.
  329. You think to yourself: *Black. Inky black. Heavy black. Oh... O-K.... a sphere.... a sphere.... uhhhhhOh! an orb of color appears, looking like a will-o-wisp, a pale violet, little light emitting from it. it bobs slowly in the air, just waiting to be gathered up*.
  330.
  331. You think to yourself: *tentative reaching for the orb... no. Don't touch it. Just look. It isn't very big. That probably means something*.
  332.
  333. You sniff softly.
  334.
  335. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Mm. Now, start looking at it more closely. Flaws are inevitable. Don't obsess. What you are looking for are signs of deliberate damage."
  336.
  337. You think to yourself: *a quiet mental chirr of affirmation... circling the sphere, looking closely, closer ... as eyes settle to the unusual change in light, fine, spiderweb-like cracks can be seen fanning out over the entirety of the surface, giving it a multi-colored appearance at varying angles* Oh. This is normal?
  338.
  339. You think to yourself: ...... is kind of pretty.
  340.
  341. You think to yourself: *an appreciative chirp* hello, Ball O' Mine Mind.
  342.
  343. The depths of the dark of night herald a new beginning, and a new chance to make the world a little better.
  344. It is now the 21st of Shanthin, 557 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  345. There are 22 days until the New Moon
  346.
  347. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Flaws are normal. That appears to be the result of living your life, and not something someone has been deliberately doing to you. Stress, not assault."
  348.
  349. You think to yourself: O-K ....... *continued passing... there's a spot, a little piece missing. He takes another step, and spots another missing chunk. And, then another. He pauses, observing one portion of the sphere which looks to have been struck by a dozen or so sharp objects, jagged bits of sphere sticking out, whole pieces missing* .......... is -that- damage?
  350.
  351. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I'd say that qualifies, yes."
  352.
  353. You have emoted: Gurashi furrows his brow. "Ouch. How do I fix it." He whispers.
  354.
  355. You think to yourself: *worry. That looks kind of bad from certain angles. Where are the missing parts? How long has been like this? Heavy heavy worry, a wave of exhaustion*.
  356.
  357. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Well. First the jagged bits need to be moved. At least rearranged so that they're not making things worse."
  358.
  359. You think to yourself: Oh gosh, oh gosh...
  360.
  361. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Try to think of it as a puzzle. Pull the jagged bits out. Match their surfaces against the pattern of cracks around the rest of it. Align them, and put them back in."
  362.
  363. You think to yourself: O-K ....... *tentative reaching for the orb. This is fine, we can totally fix... but so tired - another heavy wave, the reaching fingers feeling numb* ...
  364.
  365. Tridemon reaches out to set a hand on your shoulder- the rush of the ocean. A reassuring presence.
  366.
  367. You have emoted: Gurashi reaches up, touching the side of his head and opening his eyes, the image of the sphere disappearing. "...I cannot do this right now," He confesses sheepishly, even with the consoling presence of the sea. "... am very sorry."
  368.
  369. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "That's fine. Success is never a guarantee."
  370.
  371. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "As long as you've not given up on it entirely."
  372.
  373. You have emoted: Gurashi shakes then hangs his head. "No no, not giving up, definitely... gotta fix it so can make sure they come back," He insists exhaustedly.
  374.
  375. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Even if you fix it, there is no guarantee that THAT will be what makes them come back. This is not about other people. This is self-care."
  376.
  377. You blink a few times and stare at Tridemon in confusion.
  378.
  379. Voice bright and clear, you say to Tridemon, "... but am doing the big brain stuff for other peoples."
  380.
  381. You think to yourself: *a jolt of anxiety - no no, is not about me no no is about them is for them - really*.
  382.
  383. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "So? Would you try to run to a rescue with broken legs? Play a song on an untuned violin?"
  384.
  385. You glance askance.
  386.
  387. Quietly, you say, ".... no."
  388.
  389. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "You staying hurt doesn't help anyone."
  390.
  391. With a huff, you say, "Bah."
  392.
  393. With a huff, you say, "Bah."
  394.
  395. Tridemon gives you the once-over, eyeing you suspiciously.
  396.
  397. Tridemon reaches over and ruffles your hair with a fond expression.
  398. Tridemon reaches over and ruffles your hair with a fond expression.
  399. Tridemon reaches over and ruffles your hair with a fond expression.
  400. Tridemon reaches over and ruffles your hair with a fond expression.
  401.
  402. You have emoted: Gurashi makes a noise, eventually grabbing your arm somewhere around the fourth ruffle. "hhhhhenough!"
  403.
  404. You huff and puff at Tridemon in outrage.
  405.
  406. The corners of Tridemon's mouth turn up as he grins mischievously.
  407.
  408. You have emoted: Gurashi releases your arm, slowly sitting up straight. "...I will try again after ... sort some things."
  409.
  410. You think to yourself: ... *red fish*.
  411.
  412. You nod your head emphatically.
  413.
  414. Voice bright and clear, you say, "...and - sleep!"
  415.
  416. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Blue fish."
  417.
  418. Tridemon nods his head sagely.
  419.
  420. You have emoted: Gurashi raises a finger. "...I can stay here?" He asks.
  421.
  422. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "If you like."
  423.
  424. Voice bright and clear, you sing, "It is too quiet at my maaaanse."
  425.
  426. You flop down onto the ground.
  427.
  428. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Maybe I can herd all of the maids in here with you."
  429.
  430. You have emoted: Gurashi heaves a great sigh, draping an arm over his face.
  431.
  432. Voice bright and clear, you say, ".....please do not."
  433.
  434. You narrow your eyes at Tridemon in an unnerving manner.
  435.
  436. Tridemon hums innocently to himself.
  437.
  438. You have emoted: Gurashi sighs again, removing his arm so he can stare tiredly at the ceiling. "I will try again, yes yes. Pick out the sharp bits and put it together again, guess."
  439.
  440. You think to yourself: *what did that*.
  441.
  442. You think to yourself: *too tired to really wonder that much*.
  443.
  444. Tridemon ponders the situation.
  445.
  446. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Well. What broke your antenna in the first place? Now, with that ominous question, you should sleep."
  447.
  448. You have emoted: Gurashi abruptly sits up, scotching off of the orange cushion and into the nook designated for Bizirik. As he settles in, he casts a wary glance in Tridemon's direction...
  449.
  450. You think to yourself: ........... what indeed.
  451.
  452. You think to yourself: *not the faintest clue. Apprehension. do we wanna know? i don't wanna know... tired... wonder what Khep would say about this... wonder if she found her way ... wonder if Bizi will find her way too .... heavy, heavier, tired...*.
  453.
  454. Tridemon pats you in a friendly manner.
  455.
  456. Tridemon turns towards the east and steps forward, instantly collapsing into a torrent of water that rushes outwards with a thunderous crash of water.
