  1. ```Ronaldo Ruina walked into the HamHamPangPang's. The Syndicate taking his order gave a derisive snort, but Roland did not really care, because he had repressed his aura down to the Grade 9 fixer, and a fool would not be able to tell his true level of a Coloured Fixer.
  2.
  3. "Give me... a Sandwich!"
  4.
  5. The Syndicate's face flickered before he finally regained his composure and laughed. "You couldn't afford a sandwichl. Get lost! Don't you see that there are Cane Office employees waiting behind you?" Roland slapped his bag of holding and threw 80 billion Object D'art pages onto the counter, causing an earthquake which demolished half of the Backstreet. Everyone dropped their jaws. None could see how this was possible!
  6.
  7. I'll take that Sandwich with a side order of Binah's Black Tea, " Roland said. He was as calm as an employee in a painting of an insanely calm Zeph. "And let me see your De Capo!" The Syndicate cultivator coughed up a mouthful of pages. He simply could not handle Roland's killing intent, because he was only at the Urban Legend realm himself. Even though Roland had suppressed his aura, because he had cultivated the Star of the City Qi, this was enough to kill people a few levels higher if he truly wanted. It was then that another man which a much more fierce aura stepped forward. "You dare make trouble here?"
  8.
  9. B.... Blue Reverbation!" Blue Reverbation was 1 invitation of the way into the Singularity realm plus EGO! Roland was pushed back two feet, knocking over a Singing Machine. The blood of a trapped nugget geysered outward, killing several onlookers. Of course, The Pale Librarian saw all this happen through the window.```
  10.
  11. Roland coughed up a mouthful of coffee, snorted, constricted his pupils, and then his expression went calm. He unleashed the aura of 64 Strength, condensed down to a 2 Power Dice stack that could fit into his page! Blue Reverbation coughed up a mouthful of 8 Chef's special. His pupils constricted. "Is this... Seeking the Impuritas Civitatis stage??"
  12. Roland had the gentle air of a libarian, but it wouldn't stop him from killing several people in a HamHamPangPang. "Singleton Drawing Scripture! Will of the Prescript!"
  13.
  14. With the first keyword of the 3 draw Singleton page, everyone below the early Urban Myth stage exploded into a book. The light of the immense heavenly EGO page shone down with the contours of a golden arch as 12 WhiteNight apostles floated around Roland's body, which is probably an important xianxia number that matches the number of K-pop bands in some sacred Korean province I've never heard of. But that was only a fraction of Roland's power. He waved his arm, bringing forth thirty more passive attributes that hadn't appeared in over 400 invitations!
  15.
  16. "Heavenly Big Bird! Eastern Ever Escaping Queen of Hatred! That's that and this is this! Red Mist EGO Incarnation!" Roland's expression was the same as ever as he slapped his bag of holding, and brought out his karmic learning page, snow queen EGO, seventeen different battle symbols, a five-light backcover page, the cunny latitia gift, various buff stacks that he may or may not still have, and his mask of the Black Silence. Oh, and the image of a Punishing Bird appeared. Remember that? It was basically his Main Thing at the start of the scene, but quietly faded into irrelevance. Until now! All of this takes some time to describe, but actually happened in the space of only a few breaths. "What! Impossible!"
  17. Roland wanted to summon the King of Greed as well, but it was too overcome with eroticism by the gold dark skin depicted on a nearby poster of her, and was busy drilling out a glory hole straight through the poster, and the wall it was pinned to, with his 3-hit pierce combat page.
  18. But it was more than enough. The Blue Reverbation's book flew out and was absorbed into his library! He screamed as his body was destroyed completely.
  19.
  20. Roland brushed off his suit and swept up his pages and everyone's pages which probably didn't have any cool passives unless I write him into a corner later, and anyways, don't worry about it for now. He surveyed the rubble that was all that remained of the HamHamPangPang. "Guess I'll be taking that sandwich... to go!"

  24. Ha ha. You know, when I was younger the history of the world seemed like an endless series of police actions. All those squashed peasant revolts, interminable centuries of torture, beheadings. I thought: wow! How did people back then put up with it all?
  25.
  26. Surely they must have been *tougher* than me - must have had different bodies, ones that couldn't feel as much pain! I sure wouldn't have been able to live like that - not me! Not for a moment! And so I joined the Police Force, because I was so sensitive.
  27.
  28. So I became a cop, and quickly realised there was no such thing as "sensitivity" - that everybody could be made to feel the same degree of pain, ha ha.
  29. And history seemed to me a nightmare, worse than before, and I thought: great! amazing! I've matured now, for sure! I've really grown up! Now I've peered into the true depths of suffering that make up the world! I'm stoic - realistic! At least now, I know just how bad it can get!
  30.
  31. Ha ha ha!! Oops!! And every time I said that, I'd find out the truth was worse! Worse and worse: an ocean of blood that went down forever. And as I looked into it I discovered the higher dimension to Police Work
  32.
  33. I found out that the capacity for happiness was finite, while the capacity for misery was infinite
  34. And that waiting in the bottomless pit of infinity was the unspeakable policeman known as "God".
