  1. >so, a slave auction, definitely a new place for you
  2. >but thanks to a few connections you are in on the first one
  3. >And according to your friend this one is perfect
  4. >These six were perfect, they were apparently the heroes of their world, and a prime sampling of what it had to offer
  5. >2 of each race, sure to satisfy a buyer's need
  6. >The place wasn't as crowded as you expected, though considering this was all underground it shouldn't surprise you
  7. >meandering around the floor were an amazingly diverse set of people, some were the fat encouraged lot you expected to see, but others were completely normal.
  8. >The typical neighbours you never expect
  9. >Before long the goods were finally trotted out for display
  10. >they slowly crossed the old wooden stage, chained together, not one of them willing to meet the gaze of onlookers
  11. >A cacophony of jeers erupted from the crowd
  12. >It was a true, a new species, sentient, but not human
  13. >Enough to get around those pesky laws, and still serve a purpose
  14. >The crowd went silent as the auctioneer yelled for attention, dragging forward the first piece of meat.
  15. >It was an orange pony, cowboy hat on it's head, covering its eyes
  16. >No text was wasted as the auction began, bids came from everywhere around the room
  17. >eventually it settled on a middle aged man, surprisingly, who played a sum of 2 thousand for his prize
  18. >Though you couldn't see her eyes, you could see tears hitting theme floor, as she said something to the rest of her friends.
  19. >pulling out a black book, you quickly not down whatever details you can on the pony and winner, before they bring her back stage and start anew on the next horse
  20. >The process continued down the line
  21. >a slave was dragged up, auctioned off, and pulled backstage
  22. >surprisingly none of them put up a fight
  23. >you wonder what treatment they must have had before this
  24. >The only one you truly felt bad for was some white unicorn who got auctioned off to some fat autist in a fedora and trench coat.
  25. >Thought people like that were just a meme, but here he is, spending his NEET money on a fucking slave.
  26. >Halfway through the auction their was a bit of a break
  27. >You took the chance to meet up with your connection
  28. >really just a friend of a friend, but he was enough to get you in
  29. >And thankfully a bit of a braggart
  30. >he was on the team that captured the ponies, and was awfully proud of getting the jump on them
  31. >He was now working security for the auction
  32. "So, is this the turnout you expected?"
  33. >"hmm? Oh, hey Anon, yeah, was hoping for more, but hey, easy money is easy money. I think once people realize this is the real deal the money will come rolling in."
  34. "If this is the best their species has to offer, it shouldn't be hard to get more
  35. >"oh man yeah, they were so trusting when we arrived, they had no idea what was coming, we were ju-"
  36. >with a quick hand wave you cut him off from the rest of his story, the rest of the auction was about to begin, and you had to be ready
  37. >You made your way into the center of the crowd as the next round of bidding began
  38. >surprisingly someone managed to buy both of the next slaves, a couple pegasi.
  39. >they looked relieved to be together at the very least
  40. >Though looking at the buyer you didn't seem so sure they would be happy.
  41. >Late twenties, skinny little shit with glasses, looked like he hadn't seen the sun in years.
  42. >doesn't matter, writing down what you can you wait for the main real reason you came.
  43. >A purple unicorn was the last on the chopping block
  44. >Like the others she refused to look into the crowd, but you could see in her eyes a look of defiance
  45. >good
  46. >The bidding began at 2 thousand
  47. >You upped it to two and a half
  48. >after a quick, but frustrating bidding war you raised your hand
  49. "Ten thousand"
  50. >And that was it, you just bought yourself a slave
  51. >The auction was over, but the crowd was assured more were coming, and soon.
  52. >The patrons all left save for the five of you who made a purchase
  53. >led backstage you found the ponies stuffed into individual cages
  54. >You were first to claim your purchase, and after a few assurance, and a rather uncomfortable looking collar and chain attached to her, you were ready to go
  55. "Come"
  56. >You command with a hard tug. She follows, looking down at the floor
  57. >No time to waste as you drag her out into the garage.
  58. >She could barely keep up as you moved to your car
  59. >And old Wrangled, but it did it's job.
  60. >You practically threw her into the back.
  61. "Don't go anywhere"
  62. >You slam the door behind you send quickly make your rounds through the garage
  63. >When you got back she was still there
  64. >In fact she hadn't moved a muscle
  65. >It was only a few moments before you were on the road home, she was still sitting there, though now staring daggers at the back of your head
  66. "Well little pony today is your lucky day, now, how is that magic of yours?
  67. >She wasn't happy with that
  68. >No, in fact, she was passed
  69. >"I feel so lucky being taken from my home and sold off to some alien, oh, and just so you know, no, my magic doesn't work here, sorry to ruin whatever series plans you had"
  70. >Unfortunate, but her mind was still useful
  71. "And what plans did you think I had?"
  72. >Your casual demeanor seemed to just make her angrier
  73. >"Oh, I don't know, cleaning your home, cooking your food, doing other... things to me?"
  74. "Things?"
  75. >"Don't play dumb, I saw how you people were staring at us."
  76. "Twilight, and yes I know your actual name, I think you'll like my plans for you, especially since they involve saving your friends"
  77. >A quick look of shock flickered across her face before being replaced with the same rage from before
  78. "Do you think that's funny?"
  79. >"Its not a joke, I actually do want to help you"
  80. >She didn't say anything for the rest of the ride
  81. >probably still trying to decide if you were telling the truth
  82. >It wasn't long before you arrived home
  83. >living in the middle of nowhere has its benefits
  84. >nobody to see you dragging a purple pony into your house
  85. >popping the collar off you walked into your kitchen to pour yourself a drink
  86. >despite trying to act calm, inside you the nerves were still raw
  87. >You actually bought a slave
  88. "Sorry about the mess, didn't have time to clean up"
  89. >You saying making a drink, not bothering to pay attention to her probable look of disgust at what was your living room
  90. >behind you you here her playing with what sounds like some pieces of metal
  91. "What the he'll are you"
  92. >turning around you see her magic does actually work
  93. >In fact, she is using it to point your Nugget at your face
  94. *click*
  95. >Before her mind can even register what happened you grab the rifle from the air with one hand, and slap her across the face with other
  96. "Really?! I say I want to help you, and you respond by trying to kill me?
  97. >"I-I didn't know"
  98. "Didn't know it wasn't loaded? Smooth move genius, These things kill, as in no more anon. Fine I know you've been through some shit, but is it that hard to trust someone enough not to kill them?!
  99. >she's in tears now, holding her cheek
  100. >"Trust?! How am I supposed to trust some ape who bought me at some horrible slave auction, why should I trust any of you when all you've done is hurt me?"
  101. >Not the response you expected
  102. >You storm off into your room without another word, only to return with a pistol in your hand
  103. "You want trust? Here you go"
  104. >She desperately kicks her way across the floor, into the corner
  105. "Cmon Twilight, we're going to play a trust game"
  106. >You say pulling the slide back and releasing it
  107. "Take it"
  108. >She shakes her head
  109. "Take the fucking pistol"
  110. >Hesitantly she grabs it with her magic
  111. "Good, now, Pull the trigger"
  112. >You can see the tears pouring down her face, her eyes clenched shut
  113. >"I can't! P-please just stop. I'm sorry"
  114. "This is why you'll never see your friends again, why your weak little species will just be slaves, bought and sold like cattle, because we're better. Because you don't have the guts to protect them. Hope your friends enjoy rape"
  115. *click*
  116. >Her eyes flash open, only to see your smug face staring back
  117. "I'm not giving you a loaded gun you dumbass horse."
  118. >You say grabbing the gun from her hold and placing it on the counter
  119. >"you're crazy" she says between sobs
  120. "The guy who caught you said none of you even put up a fight, I had to make sure you actually have a shit. Things are only going to get crazier>walking to the kitchen you down the drink you poured and take a deep breath
  121. >She is still in the corner, crying
  122. >"I didn't know it would kill you, the ones who took us, they had something similar, but those just put us to sleep. I swear, that's all I thought would happen."
  123. "Most guns don't do that, they were using tranquilizers Twilight"
  124. >You walk over to her corner and slide down the wall to the ground next to her
  125. >You don't know what to say anymore, you knew she would be a little screwed up, but how can you calm a colorful talking horse dragged and enslaved into your world
  126. >maybe you went a bit far with the whole 'shoot me' something
  127. "I'm sorry, this isn't right, not at all."
  128. >Her body is shaking, her head tucked into her legs.
  129. "But I have an idea of who bought your friends, I'm sure we can track them down, save them. I know you don't trust me, but I know you're smart, that's why I picked you."
  130. >Finally she picked her head up to look at you, her face still soaked with tears
  131. "So grab some sleep, we get started tomorrow, and I need that brain of yours rested. You can use the couch, and if you're hungry, anything in the kitchen is fair game."
  132. >You get up and walk back to your room, hopefully with the door posed you won't hear the sobs
  133. >you're confident she won't run, you gave her enough hope to stick around
  134. >with all this work, that bastard from the auction better be right
