  1. Firstly, I hope that you're okay with my lengthy response being in separate neomails; I haven't any petpages to spare at the moment. The main concern that I, as well as other applicants have with your adoption process is that it was, not only unconventional, but also deeply flawed. You may argue that they were your pets, you were the foster, therefore you may decide how they are to be distributed, who they are to be given to, and why, which technically is not wrong, but that mentality is as well as its shortcomings. Many if not all applicants assumed that "judging based off accounts" meant that you would look at the way our current permanent pets are treated and judge based on that if the promises made in our applications would hold true. To some extent, you may have looked upon that, but most of what mattered as an applicant, owner, and person was wrongly overlooked.

  3. This is the second part of my response. The bottom line is that you gave almost no regard to the effort and evidence put into the application and the way people treated their pets and already, and made your decision nearly solely on the applicant's personality shown on their lookup;just because it isn't shown off in bright neon signs doesn't mean s/he doesn't have one, which is why one must never judge a book by its cover. I saw the person who was chosen for Solemn act almost indifferent when she heard the news, and it was heartbreaking to see that he could have went to someone much more deserving (ie. Claire). Lastly, if you're thinking everything that I've said to you thus far is garbage, go right ahead as long as you take this piece of information solemnly: I have been friends with Sahar for a while and I always see her gushing over how much she wishes to achieve her UC pet goals, but have never seen her so passionate and driven when she told me she was applying for Brent. She prepared a gallery for him with expensive items, collected his customization items, and toiled endlessly to ensure that there was no way any applicant other than her would be chosen. Thus, if you ever lose inspiration for him or want to leave Neopets again, please do reconsider keeping him. Thank you for your time.
