Dear Steve,

The letter I faxed to from the Houston firm evidently is both a collection =
agency and law firm of some sorts and I just got a call from them saying=
 "you have failed to respond in the 30 alloted days and I no longer have=
 legal representation and they need a response" to decide to proceed wit=
h litigation.

Would it be appropiate to send a letter like you sent the first firm=3F Ple=
ase give them a call and say you are reperesenting me, please.

Thank you.Dee and I are going to Sao Paulo for Rotary Convention this eve a=
nd I will be back June 22.

Phil,

I believe I sent you a copy of the letter that was faxed to Mr. McCall.
There has been no response.  I can certainly call and follow up if you
would like.  Sometimes, however, when someone is threatening to sue you for
money and they aren't doing anything, stirring the pot can be
counter-productive.  My fax confirmation sheet shows that the fax went
through so I would presume he got the letter.  I don't know if he has
requested documents from his clients, whether they are reconsidering their
position or what.  Do you want me to contact him or play the wait and see
game=3F  Obviously, we could get a lawsuit out of the blue but I would
certainly hope they would contact me first given that I reached out to them
in the letter.  Please advise.
