The Twi'leks in new Meen continue to celebrate your victory over Drombb and his thugs. With the cantina's contents firmly secured, they intend to party for at least another week, and are happy to have you stay for the revelries.
B'ura B'an is extremely grateful, and eagerly sends a message to Nyn, informing her of your success.
Coming back to you, receiving taps on his back along the way, B'ura nods, saying "Nyn will be very glad to see you again. But I won't take this from you, if you want to stick around," he says indicating the celebratory atmosphere around you.

B'ura chuckles at this. It's something you haven't seen him do before.

"If you weren't a Mando I'd take you for a slave-driver, Canix." He ribs the warrior with a nudge of his elbow.

Illander breaks into a smile and a hand reaches for a bottle he had stashed in one of his pockets handing it to Logan "Excellent"

Canix waves his hand dismissively. "It's discipline Logen. At least where jobs or settling debts are concerned. And right now Teemo has accrued a sizable one."

"To B'ura and his community! And to us!" Logen then starts chugging straight from the bottle.

He lets out a satisfied sigh as he stops the pull, a good fourth of the bottle now drained. "Aye aye, Canix. To your discipline as well."

Logen is cheered on by a growing group of Twi'leks around you.

"To B'ura and a swift strike!" Hawk starts drinking.

"C'mon! Drink drink!" He yells at the gathering Twi'leks.

B'ura sticks around for a moment before sneaking away to stand watch.
Bottles empty at an alarming rate, yet more keep coming. The night sees more and more Twi'leks retired by the festivity, until at last all is calm and quiet.
Night gives way to the day, and you can hear B'ura in the distance giving instructions to the miners who ignite the engines of the large vehicles and learn to make use of them.
Nearby, you notice he has brought the speeder in close, ready to take you back to Nabat. Or at least, as soon as you regain consciousness.

Canix wakes and grabs his gear, nudging the others with his boot on the way out to rouse them.

Hawk wakes up with a headache and a parched throat, "Ugghh, where's my canteen."

Illander begins to stir, confused at why the floor is up and the ceiling is down before falling off the back of the sofa he apparently passed out over.

"Grab your gear, it's time we headed back and checked on the ship."

Disentangling himself he goes to the bar to seek out some water.

Logen gets up groggily, his head pounding, ahhhh yes there they are. The consequences of my actions. He downs several cups of nearby water before gathering his things and leaving. He has to shade his eyes, and squint as the harsh star gives off it's devilish light.

Hawk slowly get's up and grumbles, "Water."
Hawk then proceeds to gear up and consume several glasses of water.

"Yeah lets get on that speeder I'll feel better with some air moving around me."

"Just make sure you can still pilot the thing. We don't need this one nose deep in a dune."

"Ready to depart as soon as you are," B'ura says before giving final wave to the vehicle operators.

Illander chugs one last glass of water before boarding the speeder and ensures its ready for departure.

Logen is one of the last to board, taking a seat in the back.

Canix climbs aboard last and thanks B'ura. "Let's go Illander...and remember...this time avoid sand dunes."

Illander rolls his eyes as he slowly brings the speeder into a hover.

The way back is familiar, from the old lylek den, to the cluttered rocks, the red and pale beige cliff-side patterns... The trip is mercifully uneventful, even downright peaceful to your fatigued minds.
The tranquility of empty desert planes ends as you reach Nabat. The spaceport seems particularly busy today. As you guide the speeder through the city gates, you can see a great crowd milling about the landing pad. It seems that a number of craft, freighters of all sizes, have arrived today. Trolleys and droids bearing trade goods from worlds all around the Outer Rim push their way through the crowd. Humans, Twi'leks, Bothans, Trandoshans, Aqualish, and more negotiate deals with buyers and spaceport staff.
B'ura guides you to a suitable parking location, then leads you back down to the room in the subterranean area of city. Once again, whispered Twi'lekan code words are exchanged and the door is opened.
Nyn is instantly pleased to see you arrive. She grins warmly and spreads her arms wide. "Thank you so much," she says. "Our friends in New Meen have much to thank you for."
Logen Nyne — Today at 10:56 PM
"Favors for favors and all that." Logen grins. "You're welcome. Provided a good fight, and thankfully none on our side died."

Canix nods in agreement. "Least we could do for repairing our ship and such."

"Never did I consider you would take such a... direct approach," she says, as others in the room chuckle. No doubt B'ura related your methods.
"We must talk more about what happened, but first I have someone I want you to meet."

"Results are results," she exclaims. She then gestures toward one of the couches to the side of the room, occupied by a rather short and stout Bothan. He regards you with wide, intelligent eyes and nods a curt greeting.
"This is Ota," Nyn says, her tone falling some. "And he has some news that might be of concern to you."

Canix raises an eye and extends a hand towards the Bothan.
"What news is that?"

Ota stands and shakes your hand. Before he can say anything, however, Nyn excuses herself and B'ura to another room, discussing the current status of New Meen.
The Bothan clears his throat. "Nyn has told me a good deal about you, and I have a project underway that could make use of a group as... resourceful as yourselves."
"However, before we get down to negotiations, I feel I ought to make you aware of this."
Ota pulls out a small holographic projector and switches it on. It's soon clear it is keyed to an encrypted frequency used by some of the bounty hunters in this area of the Outer Rim.
He switches the projector on and it displays a series of scrolling images.

"The job I have in mind for you will bring you into contact with those who are currently engaged in a deal with Teemo. If you negotiate well with them, they could provide the opportunity to strike at the Hutt from the heart of his own palace."
He pauses for a moment.
"I won't lie to you. This will be risky. But you will have a batter chance following my plans than you'll have once these bounty hunters catch word of the price on your heads."
"I will, of course, also see to it that you are rewarded for killing or compromising Teemo. He should have the credits on hand to pay his hunters, and I will make sure any such money passes on to you - minus a small fee for my troubles."

Logen eyes the Bothan, this Ota, with curiosity. "Hope this isn't sketchy."

"I have been invited to a private function to be hosted by a certain Geonisian Duke Piddock. I am not expected to turn up myself, of course, but the duke will expect a few guests to appear as representative of my interests. This duke recently planned to work with Teemo on lucrative weapons deals, then he changed his mind. As it happens, this duke has a rival - Duke Vikk, who is due to deliver some goods to Teemo in a few days. If Vikk knew what made Piddock change his mind, he might agree to help us."
He pauses, looking at each of you.
"I realize it is complex. We are to find out from one Geonosian what caused him to turn from Teemo in order to convince the other currently working with the slug to help us instead."

Logen looks at Canix and the others at the mention of Piddock's name.
Illander — Today at 11:26 PM
"One hell of a scheme and tonnes of opportunities for it to go wrong? Sounds exciting."

Canix returns the glance. "We may have something that could shed some light."
Canix retireves the datapad with Drombb's private messages.
"We weren't sure what these were referring to at the time. But they may help you connect the pieces."

"Whoever he was, it seems the Trandoshan you killed got carried away in some dispute..."
"It's something. A place to start. You will be interacting with other guests who may have information to piece together with this."

"I need to make some more arrangements, but I will be back in the morning to see you taken to Geonosis. I encourage you to talk about it among yourselves. Come up with a detailed cover story of why you might be invited to a party held by a Geonosian duke. He thinks I'm an arms dealer, so he'll expect you to want to buy weapons from him --that will do for the duke. But the duke's dealings with me are not public knowledge. You will need another cover story for the rest of the guests."

By now, B'ura and Nyn are long finished with their conversation, and have been listening to Ota. They are somewhat shocked to learn about the details of Ota's offer, but they agree that it sounds like a perfect opportunity to strike at the Hutt.

"Can't say I know much about Geonosis. They do much in the way of pit fights or pod-racing?" He jabs a thumb at Illander. "He's a fairly infamous racer."

"Ota hasn't given us alot to go on."
"Space racer, although pivoting to podracing might be best considering the bounty."

"Alright, so we need a cover and credibility."
"Potentially posing as traders. But the Duke may demand capital...as down payment of sorts for any arms deal."

"As far as the Duke is concerned? Two birds..." B'ura says.
Nyn nods.
"Don't lie. Our cell will always need more weapons. Say, 3000 credits to buy samples from him. You can bring them to me when you return."

Canix raises his eyebrow. "That would certainly appease the Duke. But we can't let on that we are there to buy weapons. So if we move forward with posing as traders we would need a product and likely samples of our own."

"That takes care of one thing. Yeah, but now what kind of goods are we peddling to the masses of the party?"

Canix scratches his chin. "Something like that."

"Would be easy enough to just 'fail' to come to any agreements and bring them back afterwards."

"Rycrit meat. They need to feed their workforce," B'ura suggests.
"Liquid diet," Nyn adds. "I think."

"Easily done. We'll provide a few barrels," Nyn nods.

"Rycrit meat shakes." Logen adds in a morbid tone.

"Let's get everything prepped and ready for when Ota returns. After that we can stock up on gear and get what we think we'll need for the next leg."

With gear acquired and arrangements for their cover made Canix relaxes at the Twi'lek Resistance safe house and waits for Ota to return.

Illander finally sells the bulky armour he had acquired and upgrade some of his gear, also buying a grappling pistol while have dreams of grandeur and daring escapes.
Logen Nyne — Today at 12:50 AM
Logen finds a vendor in the nearby market that he can offload his laminate armor on, and purchase some stimpacks. He is then directed, after asking, to a nearby armorer to upgrade his blast vest with plasteel plates.

As promised, Ota reappears in the morning. He sits down to discuss details and make sure everything is ready.
"Trading in foodstuffs, eh? Very good. Very good. The Geonosian nobility is eager to get any edge to remain in some authority. Alternate streams of off-world food supplies is exactly the sort of thing that could accomplish this."
"I have finalized arrangements. The party is due to start in twelve hours, more than enough time for you to make a hyperspace trip from Ryloth to Geonosis. This communicator," the Bothan holds up a small device, "provides the encrypted signal that will allow you through the Geonosian security cordon. Make your way to the landing pad of Gogum Hive, a small city on the north of the planet. The Geonosians there will look after your ship and escort you to the party."

"By the by Ota, what is the party to celebrate?"
[+T+] Tywin Lannister — Today at 12:56 AM
"The next morning, you should fly to Trellik Hive, due west from Gogum. This is the home of Duke Vikk. Once you are there, use this communicator to contact me so we can plan our next move."
Canix Braus — Today at 1:00 AM
Canix takes the communicator. "Sounds like you have this arranged nicely Ota. We'll get to our ship and get started then. Unless you have anything to add before we go?"

"Sounds simple enough."

Looking at Illander, Ota explains, "Some Geonosians are fed up with the Empire's choking off of their trade, control of their society, and forcing their dependence on Imperial trade. People like Piddock are reaching out to the black market, the Hutt Cartel, and others. This party is about making the contacts necessary to that business, though outwardly the trade goods are less likely to catch Imperial attention."
"Anyone who's been invited will probably be like you - acting on behalf of someone else and eager to keep their employers' true identity, or their own, secret. I would advise caution prying too deep."

Canix nods. "Makes sense. I don't intend on delving too deep into the personal lives of each guest."
"And if we're lucky no one will pry into ours either."

"Sounds pretty typical about this. I've heard plenty of rumors about how big Geonosis is regarding the black market. I worked under Teemo long enough to pick up on that at least."

"That sort of indiscretion would be unwelcome by all, the duke included," he nods.
"For many, it's their only lifeline outside of Imperial constraints."

"And so they'll likely be reluctant to make waves as it were."

"It's a desperate time. The Emperor's influence grows, and squeezes tight, especially on Separatist-aligned worlds." Pausing a moment, and coming back to the task at hand, he rises. "Fortune favor you. Play this right, and Teemo will be within reach."

Canix stands as the Bothan does and nods. "With luck this will go off without too many bumps."
