  1. CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] RIGHT NOW responded to memo.
  2. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Following Dirk to his room. --
  3. CAE: You should be sleeping more regularly.
  4. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Tsks a little. --
  5. CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] RIGHT NOW responded to memo.
  6. CEE: I've been attempting to do so.
  7. CEE: It wasn't exactly a necessity, having to keep a regular sleeping schedual.
  8. CAE: Should I be sleeping beside you every night then?
  9. CAE: Perhaps regulate your sleeping?
  10. CAE: I can make that sacrifice, if I truly must.
  11. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Teasing lightly. --
  12. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] hey dirk are you wearing shoes --
  13. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] no, why? --
  14. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] hold you like stepping on small, hard, probably pokey objects. because theres one directly in your path in your room --
  15. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Upon getting up to Dirk's room, he removes his boots and other knives cleverly stored around them. --
  16. CAE: Careful of the hallway. I think Tim might be getting into some of my items.
  17. CEE: That would be helpf-HGLS ow fuck!
  18. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] bounces back, hopping about on one foot, cursing freely under his breath --
  19. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] whatever Dirk just stepped on makes a few snapping sounds underfoot, several small parts breaking off. --
  20. CAE: !
  21. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Goes over to Dirk. --
  22. CAE: Let me see your foot.
  23. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] balances himself, lifting his leg. The skin isn't really broken, but there are a few red marks --
  24. CEE: I don't /think/ I'm bleeding, am I?
  25. CAE: No, it's more just red and scrapped more than anything.
  26. CAE: Do you need me to kiss it betteR?
  27. CEE: No, I'm good.
  28. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Kisses the top of his foot anyway before picking him up, bridal style. --
  29. CAE: Must be careful where you step.
  30. CEE: The fuck did I step on anyway?
  31. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] It looks to be a small stone statuette of a mouse. One of the ears has snapped off, as have a few of the limbs, broken in multiple places. Before the breaking of its limbs, it looked like it might've been poised to attack something. --
  32. CAE: ...
  33. CAE: An... Odd little stone mouse.
  34. CEE: ....
  35. CEE: That's.
  36. CEE: Problematic.
  37. CAE: Perhaps Quinn has taken up sculpting.
  38. CAE: It wouldn't surprise me.
  39. CEE: Take a look at it.
  40. CEE: It should have an artist's mark if that's the case, or signs of carving.
  41. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Carries Dirk into his room, setting him on the bed before picking up the little stone mouse. --
  42. CAE: I have never known him to sign his work though.
  43. CEE: Still, check.
  44. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Checking over the mouse. --
  45. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] its incredibly lifelike, down to details of fur, which seems a bit rubbed off by the contact with dirk's foot. Not a single artist's mark, though. --
  46. CAE: ...No artists mark...
  47. CAE: And the detailing is... Incredibly life-like.
  48. CEE: ....Where's Timmy?
  49. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] pops up suddenly as if on cue, having just wiggled out from under a dresser, and hops over to Artie's foot, peeping excitedly. --
  50. CAE: ...Hello, Timothy.
  51. CTS: peep!!
  52. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] hops up and down, wanting to be picked up. --
  53. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Picks him up and shows him the mouse. --
  54. CAE: So... Tim... What do you think of this?
  55. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] looks at the mouse, but doesn't seem very interested in it. He seems to have something much more interesting in his little hand, as he keeps toying with it, occasionally gnawing on it. He has more teeth now. --
  56. CAE: ...Dirk, I think... I think he might have his... Poison now...
  57. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] if one looked closely, the item he's playing with is a stone bug. A beetle of some kind. Completely stone. --
  58. CEE: It seems to be on a small scale for now.
  59. CEE: We're going to have to test the range of his abilities.
  60. CAE: ...Dirk...
  61. CAE: You won't... You won't make me kill him, will you?
  62. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Tremor of absolute sorrow at the idea. --
  63. CEE: ....
  64. CEE: I will do what's necessary.
  65. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] After a moment, he nods, brows furrowed, eyes looking sad. --
  66. CAE: I understand...
  67. CEE: I don't think it will be, though.
  68. CEE: He's small, and it shouldn't be able to affect larger beings to the point where that is required.
  69. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] looks up at Artemis, tilting his head curiously. What kind of face are you making, Artie? --
  70. CTS: apa?
  71. CAE: It's alright, Tim. Everything is okay right now.
  72. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Cradling the tiny baby in his hands, he brings Tim up to his face and kisses the top of his head. --
  73. CAE: I don't think I could at this point, Dirk.
  74. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] drops the stone beetle so he can hug Artie's face with his one arm, chirping happily with his tail whipping back and forth. --
  75. CAE: He's a good boy, he really is.
  76. CTS: apababa
  77. CAE: He calls me apa and is always so happy when he sees me.
  78. CEE: I know.
  79. CAE: Isn't that right, Tim?
  80. CTS: am!
  81. CAE: I know... I know it's weak... I should be able to if it's necessary...
  82. CAE: I just don't think I can.
  83. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] has such the tiniest little voice when he's actually using it instead of making bird sounds. --
  84. CEE: This is a weakness that is permitted.
  85. CEE: ...You consider him your child, after all.
  86. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] nuzzles against Artemis' face, just kinda babby-babbling now. --
  87. CAE: Yes, I do.
  88. CTS: amamamammm
  89. CAE: Tim, I know you do not quite understand language yet, but I`m not letting you be lazy with it.
  90. CAE: Eventually, you must learn proper words.
  91. CTS: ambab?
  92. CAE: Yes, good point, but you'll still learn.
  93. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Sits on the bed with Dirk. --
  94. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] burps a little, then giggles and starts babbling again. --
  95. CTS: aburburble
  96. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Leans his head on Dirks shoulder, still nuzzling Tim. --
  97. CAE: Though they are right, small children discourage amourous actions.
  98. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] looks down at the small creature, examining him --
  99. CEE: I suppose.
  100. CAE: Well, you wouldn't throw me down and ravish me with him in the room.
  101. CAE: That's just rude to Tim.
  102. CTS: ah!
  103. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Kisses Tim's cheek. --
  104. CEE: Probably not, no.
  105. CTS: eee
  106. CAE: Exactly.
  107. CAE: Any other time, I wouldn't argue.
  108. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Looks at him, using his sultry accent with what can only be described as a naughty smile 'Bana sadece oda olmak kadar çalışmış olsun ...' --
  109. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] and there's a blush --
  110. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] that won't work forever, Artie- At this rate Timmy is growing to grow up bilingual. --
  111. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] unlike his older self, his reactions are pretty much genuine 100% of the time --
  112. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Kisses him on the cheek, very chastely, going back to playing with Tim. --
  113. CAE: The thing I find most amusing is you've no idea what I said.
  114. CAE: And yet you still blush.
  115. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] paps at Artie's fingers playfully with his hand, making a happy mix of chirping and babbling. --
  116. CEE: God.
  117. CAE: Artemis, but close.
  118. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Grinning. --
  119. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Tickles Tims tiny tummy. --
  120. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] squeaks and kicks at Artie's digits, giggling. --
  121. CEE: ...
  122. CEE: Timmy.
  123. CTS: ah?
  124. CEE: Can you say Papa?
  125. CTS: apa
  126. CEE: Papa.
  127. CTS: aaapa
  128. CEE: Paaa pa.
  129. CTS: ah!pa
  130. CEE: ...Dad?
  131. CTS: ad
  132. CEE: Ma.
  133. CTS: aaam
  134. CEE: Artie.
  135. CTS: awrbie
  136. CEE: ...Jesus christ.
  137. CAE: Fantastic, Tim!
  138. CEE: He's developing language.
  139. CAE: He's intelligent.
  140. CEE: Lord, he's learning how to speak.
  141. CAE: Good boy, Tim.
  142. CEE: Not just intelligent, /sapient/.
  143. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] looks very proud of himself, giggling and smiling at all the attention and praise. --
  144. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] puts his head in his hands, flopping back onto the bed --
  145. CAE: Still, he likely won't understand Calimshite for a while.
  146. CEE: Most likely not.
  147. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] speak it around him more, Artie. He will. --
  148. CEE: God, fuck.
  149. CEE: This complicates matters.
  150. CTS: uck
  151. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] is learning bad words --
  152. CAE: Dirk!
  153. CEE: What?
  154. CAE: Do not teach him swear words yet.
  155. CEE: I don't see the problem with it.
  156. CAE: No, but I'd prefer him not use base language.
  157. CEE: ...
  158. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] frowns, seeming confused --
  159. CTS: uck?
  160. CAE: Duck.
  161. CTS: uck
  162. CAE: He said 'Duck', Tim.
  163. CTS: uck!
  164. CAE: Yes, good boy, duck.
  165. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] has a hard time pronouncing the starts of words that begin with consonants --
  166. CAE: Can you say Dirk?
  167. CTS: irk!
  168. CAE: Sometimes he does, yes.
  169. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] will usually skip the first consonant of a word if it doesn't begin with a vowel. --
  170. CEE: Excuse you.
  171. CEE: Can you say Bro?
  172. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] makes a funny face, scrunching up his nose --
  173. CTS: rrrrrro
  174. CEE: Yes, I know Bro smells funny, but that ain't a reason to-
  175. CEE: Oh there we go.
  176. CTS: rrrro!
  177. CEE: Good.
  178. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Laughs. --
  179. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] reaches around, patting the kid's head --
  180. CAE: How about Apple?
  181. CTS: appo
  182. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] peeps, nuzzling into the pats --
  183. CAE: Well done.
  184. CAE: He's registering which words we ask of him.
  185. CAE: He's cognizant, to a degree, of what we ask of him.
  186. CEE: He's at a regular developmental stage.
  187. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] is repeating the sounds Dirk and Artie are making because they treat him nice when they do :D --
  188. CEE: He's on par with a small child.
  189. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] when he does** --
  190. CAE: I believe he's picking up on facial cues more than the words.
  191. CEE: Mm. Encouragement based behavioural patterns....
  192. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] likes it when Dirk and Papa-hal praise him so he's gonna keep parroting them as best he can. --
  193. CAE: Exactly.
  194. CEE: Hey Timmy, who's this?
  195. CTS: ah?
  196. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] points to Artie --
  197. CTS: apa
  198. CEE: And who am I?
  199. CTS: irk!
  200. CEE: And what's your name?
  201. CTS: immm!
  202. CEE: Good.
  203. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] wiggles, smiling brightly. --
  204. CEE: He is displaying free thinking and association skills.
  205. CAE: Very important.
  206. CAE: He's making solid progress.
  207. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Grins. --
  208. CAE: My child is superior to those stupid wigglers.
  209. CEE: Haha.
  210. CTS: iggwurs?
  211. CAE: All they do is growl and poop.
  212. CTS: oop
  213. CAE: Tim is developing far past them.
  214. CAE: He is small but intelligent.
  215. CAE: And he has a poison that could turn them to stone...
  216. CAE: Heheheh... Inferior children...
  217. CTS: oisom?
  218. CAE: I could teach him the tools of my trade!
  219. CTS: rrrade?
  220. CAE: He'll understand how to mix herbs to maximum potency! Yes!
  221. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Eyes alight with the possibilities. --
  222. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] chirps, a little confused at these words Artie is using. So he busies himself by gnawing on his toes. --
  223. CAE: Dirk, we potentially have the most naturally deadly child on this planet.
  224. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Sounds absolutely pleased by this. --
  225. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] continues to nibble on his toes for a bit, before stopping to nibble on his fingers instead. --
  226. CEE: Fantastic.
  227. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Nuzzles Tim's tummy again. --
  228. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] chirps happily, hugging Artie's face. --
  229. CAE: Who's my little Cocktrice? Who's my poisonous little boy?
  230. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Only affection in his words, really. --
  231. CTS: peep peep!!
  232. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] giggles and nuzzles his papa-hal's face. --
  233. CEE: Do you think he'll be able to fly?
  234. CAE: I believe so.
  235. CAE: His wings healed properly.
  236. CAE: He'll just need to learn to balance.
  237. CEE: He'll be an airborn miniture assassin.
  238. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker's [CTS'S] wings currently resemble that of a young bird's; mainly just covered in down without much of a wingspan. But he IS a baby. There's a good chance his wings will grow and develop flight feathers. --
  239. CAE: The lost arm might cause mild difficulty since the weight will be off, but I believe he could learn.
  240. CAE: Yes... I could give him a ring of speed to use as a belt.
  241. CEE: Hm.
  242. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] could cross his arm over his chest to balance his weight out when he learns to fly. --
  243. CAE: He could wield a small, but sharp blade, dripping with powerful poisons...
  244. CAE: He'd be unstoppable.
  245. CAE: By the time they figure out what he's doing, it would be far too late...
  246. CEE: He'd be able to infiltrate and gather information easily.
  247. CAE: Exactly.
  248. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] has gone back to chewing on his toes while the grown-ups talk about what a great assassing he could be. --
  249. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] His looks at Tim adoringly. --
  250. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] assassin** --
  251. CAE: He'll take after his Papa-hal...
  252. CTS: apa
  253. CAE: Ah... But only if he wants to.
  254. CAE: It's entirely up to his own discretion.
  255. CTS: apa?
  256. CAE: Yes, Tim?
  257. CTS: aaaahhh apa
  258. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] nuzzles Artie's face again. --
  259. CEE: If he enters into the Strider tradition of mixed styles and speed, combined with schooling under my direction.
  260. CEE: Hmm.
  261. CEE: Deadly.
  262. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Nuzzles Tim, smiling. --
  263. CAE: Yes... And I could teach him poison crafting and hiding in plain sight...
  264. CEE: I could teach him philosophy and manipulation.
  265. CAE: That is... I mean, if you're... Suggesting that... You wish for this to last that long...
  266. CAE: Which I hope so.
  267. CEE: Cartography, mapping...
  268. CAE: I'm rather fond of you.
  269. CEE: ...Why would I not?
  270. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] wiggles onto Artie's shoulder, hopping off him and onto Dirk. --
  271. CTS: peep peep
  272. CAE: Well... I mean, you... You are young, so...
  273. CAE: I won't delude myself into thinking there's no possibility your interests might change.
  274. CAE: By Ao, I certainly hope not, but... You may become bored with me.
  275. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Gives him a sad smile. --
  276. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] simply looks confused --
  277. CEE: I don't think that's likely.
  278. CAE: Sorry... My mind usually jumps to negativity.
  279. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Kisses his cheek. --
  280. CAE: Ben çöl günbatımı, seni seviyorum.
  281. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] 'I love you, my desert sunset.' --
  282. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] chirps, ducking under Dirk's jaw and huddling against his neck. Ew, grown-ups kissing. --
  283. CEE: Gosh.
  284. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] there's that blush again --
  285. CAE: Really, I didn't say anything explicit.
  286. CEE: No, I can tell.
  287. CEE: It's toneal.
  288. CAE: Oh, I see.
  289. CAE: ...If I translate it, you'll call me cheesy.
  290. CEE: That's up to debate.
  291. CAE: ...
  292. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Mutters out the words in English. --
  293. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] boredly wiggles under the collar of Dirk's shirt. There's now a lump under the shoulder of his shirt. --
  294. CEE: Goooodd.
  295. CEE: Yeah, that's a little cheesey.
  296. CEE: But in the best way.
  297. CAE: ...
  298. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] gives him a kiss --
  299. CAE: Okay... That I can deal wi-
  300. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Kiss'd. Face is just gonna go super red now. --
  301. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] muffled peeps from under the shoulder of Dirk's shirt. Then he just lays down, like he's forgotten how to get out and is accepting his fate. --
  302. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Oh Tim, you goofy baby. <3 --
  303. CAE: It's funny, you realize.
  304. CEE: Hm?
  305. CAE: We've done... Rather inappropriate things both to and with each other, this shouldn't make me blush.
  306. CEE: It's sweet.
  307. CAE: How so?
  308. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] shrugs --
  309. CAE: Well, I must say, I was rather surprised by your actions last time.
  310. CAE: I was told such things were mild Dominant/submissive play?
  311. CEE: Yep.
  312. CEE: They were.
  313. CEE: I'm... not good at regular sex, I don't think.
  314. CAE: I was initially a bit... I suppose apprehensive, but...
  315. CAE: If you... Ever wished to... Indulge in such a manner again, I... I can see no harm...
  316. CEE: Sweet.
  317. CAE: You may employ restraints as well if... If that is appealing.
  318. CEE: Very.
  319. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Twiddling his toes, hands together in his lap. --
  320. CAE: A blindfold of some kind would not be refused either...
  321. CAE: However, this is entirely for your own kinks.
  322. CAE: I do not have any,
  323. CAE: At all.
  324. CAE: Ever.
  325. CEE: I don't want to do anything you're entirely uncomfortable with, however.
  326. CAE: I am not uncomfortable with them, Dirk.
  327. CAE: I suggested them in the first place.
  328. CEE: Still.
  329. CAE: Dirk, I would not suggest anything I find unappealing.
  330. CAE: I only suggest things that I believe I would find interest in trying but have up until now not been able to explore due to having, up until now, partners that were severely lacking.
  331. CEE: Alright.
  332. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] All in all, it's a compliment. --
  333. CAE: ...Unless that makes you uncomfortable.
  334. CEE: Not in the slightest.
  335. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] hasn't moved in a while and is quiet. --
  336. CAE: Well, next time you feel amourous, bring your gorgeous form to me and we can play until one or both of us passes out.
  337. CEE: Oh.
  338. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] there's that flush again --
  339. CAE: I think Tim is asleep.
  340. CEE: Think so.
  341. CAE: Still, often I am awoken by dreams of myself writhing in pleasure beneath you, yet this is cruel since it is never so and my bed is sadly empty of anyone else.
  342. CEE: GODdamn it's like you want me to throw you down on the matress right the fuck now or something.
  343. CTS: peep
  344. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] heard his name --
  345. CAE: ...Tim, I'm putting you in my room for a little while, these are things you shouldn't hear.
  346. CTS: peep?
  347. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Takes him out from under Dirk's shirt and brings him back to his room, putting him in the little basket beside his own bed, which is full of soft silks and cottons. --
  348. CTS: apa??
  349. CAE: Nap-time, Tim.
  350. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] rubs his face sleepily with his hand, then moves to try and wiggle out of the basket. --
  351. CTS: apa pa
  352. CAE: Nap now, please Tim, I beg you.
  353. CAE: I'll give you anything you like for food, just sleep.
  354. CTS: apa??
  355. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] whines. You're acting weird about this Artie, and it's making tim concerned. --
  356. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Gives him a kiss and leaves the room, shutting the door. He figures Tim will go to sleep like he usually does for nap time. --
  357. -- CURRENT threeinchSquawker [CTS] starts peeping loudly as soon as Artie is gone, mildly distressed. --
  358. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Gonna let him peep himself to sleep, going back to Dirk's room. --
  359. CAE: My mum and dad did that with me. If they cry more than fifteen minutes though, you go check on them.))
  360. -- CURRENT equestrianEpicurean [CEE] he's sprawled out on the bed, shirtless --
  361. CAE: ...Oh... Well then, getting started without me?
  362. -- CURRENT artemisEntreri [CAE] Smirking, he strips until he's just in his own breeches. --
