  1. My only experience with crushing crowds have been at Dead shows. Two that stand out are once when the crowd was pressing so hard up front that I could lift my feet off the ground and not slip down. Your arms were either pinned at your sides or stuck up above your head. I remember a 5 foot gal screaming with her shirtless BF's shirt over her head like a blindfold as he tried to fight the crowd to get her out. Very disturbing.

  3. The other time was at the World theater near Chicago. It was a total clusterfuck getting in. Cars left and towed on the highway sides. The line to get in was massive and around the third song(?) the crowd to get in surged. I was around 10 people back from the turnstile and I was squeezed like toothpaste thru the turnstile(?) and saw people being crushed into the turnstiles. The ticket takers and security bailed because it was out of hand. The super chill Deadheads went Zombie mode and tore down the 8 foot fences next to the entry point. I still have my unripped ticket from that show somewhere.
