Do I Really Have to Go Back to Work? Edition

Hey guys, how’s it goin?

It felt good to have a week to myself for once. I got some things done that I may not have had time to do otherwise, including finishing up my playthrough of Onimusha Tactics, adding new stream alerts, and doing some different runs of Tetris Attack. I even improved my Hard mode time by five seconds! I wish I could do this all the time. Do I really have to go back to work?

Speaking of Tetris Attack, I will be back on the V-Hard grind this week. The speedrun tournament is going to wrap up on Friday with me against FFRPro21. I need to win one bo5 set before he wins two. I think his ceiling is a little higher than mine so another 3-0 does not feel likely. I’m expecting the worst.

In other gaming news, I will soon be able to branch out into NES games! Everdrives were on sale so I snagged a NES one and I found an original NES on sale, as well. I have ideas on some games that I want to pick up as speedruns. I might even revisit a couple of old runs…

In real life news, not only did I get a replacement router, I also got a sizable bonus in my last paycheck that allowed me to finally get a new bed! I was even able to get one with an adjustable base. Unfortunately, I wasn’t sure what size I needed so I ended up getting a queen when I previously had a full. This has cramped up my desk area a little bit more than it already was. If my camera views look a little different on stream, it’s because I literally can’t put my chair where it was before. I also had to relocate my controller cam because I can no longer turn my chair towards my TV with my keyboard tray out. I am more cramped in space, but I am too lazy to take the bed apart and exchange it.
