- ## **😀 Symbols and Pictographs for Diaspora posts**
- You can use Unicode symbols and pictographs from [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_Latin_(Unicode_block)) by copying the symbol or writing its code. For example, the symbol π΄:
- On Wikipedia, you will find that symbol on the [Emoji](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoji) page. It is in the **List of Unicode single emojis table**, 4th column and, on the left of the symbol, you see **U+1F53x**. To view it in the Diaspora editor you must split that pattern into two parts using the plus sign as a delimiter. Take the second part, i.e. **1F53x** to add '**&#x**' at the beginning and '**;**' at the end: **\🔴**
