  1. Cloaking device off
  2. Tip: Be careful when picking out the ID for your character. Generic IDs offer much more freedom, but are severely limited in terms of combat as well as the size of ship these characters can pilot.
  3. Prof.Nerva: Konbanwa, Yatogi-san! I am near Gas Miner Naha.
  4. {ToI}Takamaghara: I'll be with you shortly, I've got some drones attacking me.
  5. {ToI}Takamaghara: En route from the Sigma-19 Jump hole. That last one was persistent.
  6. Prof.Nerva: Grettings!
  7. {ToI}Takamaghara: Hello!
  8. Prof.Nerva: I will enter in formation.
  9. {ToI}Takamaghara: Excuse my being in a bomber. I was recently on deployment and stayed in Sigma-19 to finish off some business.
  10. {ToI}Takamaghara: I'm just calculating our route now.
  11. Prof.Nerva: There is nothing to appologize for. Take your time.
  12. {ToI}Takamaghara: It seems like I might be showing unessecary force.
  13. {ToI}Takamaghara: I don't want to give you the wrong impression.
  14. Prof.Nerva: Do not worry, I am used to the Omicros. There is a lot of... let's call them people that want to show force there.
  15. {ToI}Takamaghara: We're going to Nagano.
  16. Prof.Nerva: Roger that.
  17. Prof.Nerva: I might have some great news.
  18. {ToI}Takamaghara: Go on,
  19. Prof.Nerva: There is an AI with which I became friends some time ago.
  20. {ToI}Takamaghara: We are somewhat aware of this A.I. we've had dealings before.
  21. Prof.Nerva: He is developing a Reconnaissance Module. One that is better than we have atm.
  22. {ToI}Takamaghara: I'm currently waiting for you at the Osaka Wreck.
  23. Prof.Nerva: Uhm, you lost me. Core is approaching.
  24. Prof.Nerva: Oh, I'm good. He is going away.
  25. Prof.Nerva: Arriving at Osaka Wreck.
  26. {ToI}Takamaghara: I will say however, that I can't permit anyone else other than you knowing the location of this base for the forseeable future.
  27. Prof.Nerva: He will not join. He undestands that.
  28. Prof.Nerva: Although, he can send us valuable information.
  29. Prof.Nerva: Currently he is mapping the Nomad Worlds.
  30. {ToI}Takamaghara: KNF have been struggling to find our installations for a long time now We'd prefer to keep it that way.
  31. Prof.Nerva: Is it safe for you to use the Gates and Lanes?
  32. Tip: In order to mine ore you must have the right combination of: 1) The ship, 2) The ID, 3) The IFF, 4) Mining Lasers/Turrets. For a full list of all of these combinations as well as which factions get bonuses for what ores - please visit our forums @DiscoveryGC.com
  33. {ToI}Takamaghara: I'll be alright. The gates aren't too difficult to dodge.
  34. Prof.Nerva: Is Core something that you ofter see in Kusari?
  35. {ToI}Takamaghara: I've personally not seen them.
  36. Prof.Nerva: Which lane did you chose?
  37. Prof.Nerva: Oh, there was a glitch in my map
  38. {ToI}Takamaghara: Narita Outpost.
  39. Prof.Nerva: I must appologize, I had no time to repair the ship after my trip from Omicron-Kappa
  40. {ToI}Takamaghara: We have repair facilites that you are welcome to use.
  41. Prof.Nerva: So, what is your area of research?
  42. Prof.Nerva: If you do not mind me asking.
  43. {ToI}Takamaghara: I'm an understudy of Dr. Carl Memford.
  44. Prof.Nerva: That name sound familiar
  45. {ToI}Takamaghara: He's an ex-Liberteronian Order Pilot.
  46. Prof.Nerva: I think I have heard of him
  47. {ToI}Takamaghara: One of our pilots is from the esteemed 141 squadron of the order and convinced him to join us.
  48. {ToI}Takamaghara: I usually advice Kijima on other matters.
  49. Prof.Nerva: It will be a hard project, but I am sure we could manage finishing it.
  50. {ToI}Takamaghara: I find the lab stuffy at times, so I stretch my legs in more practical environments.
  51. Prof.Nerva: While studying on Tokyo, I used to take Aikido classes.
  52. {ToI}Takamaghara: Welcome to our Soverign system.
  53. Prof.Nerva: First time here.
  54. {ToI}Takamaghara: Sorry, I missed the gate.
  55. Prof.Nerva: Thank you.
  56. {ToI}Takamaghara: Not much longer left.
  57. Prof.Nerva: Most of the gates are old, too old.
  58. {ToI}Takamaghara: If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
  59. Kruger|KMS-Neuburg: Greetings
  60. {ToI}Takamaghara: Well, I'll have to ignore him.
  61. Prof.Nerva: Greetings.
  62. {ToI}Takamaghara: I'll pretend I've not seen that neodymium.
  63. Kruger|KMS-Neuburg: You can keep pretending!
  64. Kruger|KMS-Neuburg: While you eat that turret fire
  65. {ToI}Takamaghara: Don't move more through here again.
  66. Kruger|KMS-Neuburg: And you are a sayer of this?
  67. Kruger|KMS-Neuburg: Hah, you barely lived!
  68. Kruger|KMS-Neuburg: to tell the tale
  69. {ToI}Takamaghara: This is our soverign system. Your presence here is subject to Tears of Izanagi law.
  70. Prof.Nerva: That was a big convoy.
  71. {ToI}Takamaghara: Indeed.
  72. Prof.Nerva: Entering formation.
  73. {ToI}Takamaghara: I would've engaged them, but our mission is more important.
  74. {ToI}Takamaghara: Neodymium is contraband in Rishiri.
  75. Prof.Nerva: They thought the dmg was done by them, when in fact.. the Gallician base had done the dmg.
  76. {ToI}Takamaghara: Indeed. I don't appreciate their arrogance.
  77. Prof.Nerva: Do you anything about Gallia. Haven't had any contact with my former University Coleagues for a while now.
  78. {ToI}Takamaghara: Currently, we've not had too much in the way of interraction with the gallic.
  79. Prof.Nerva: It seems Gallia discovered something that is of Nomad origin.
  80. Prof.Nerva: But this is just hearsay.
  81. {ToI}Takamaghara: Here's my outpost.
  82. Prof.Nerva: This is a nice base.
  83. {ToI}Takamaghara: We went to alot of trouble to hide it.

  326. Prof.Nerva: Has anyone managed to get some nomad remains?
  327. CONSOLE: [PVE Event]: The Honshu system is all clear. No more nomad contacts.
  328. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: no figher remains dropped, i have 6 gb
  329. Order|Michal.Golanski.: 30GB remains
  330. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: show off XD
  331. Order|Michal.Golanski.: and 2m in cards
  332. Prof.Nerva: We need some nomad remains.
  333. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: we have gunboat nomad remains
  334. Order|Michal.Golanski.: DEAR GOD
  335. Prof.Nerva: Oh, nice.
  336. Order|Michal.Golanski.: I HAVE NEMPS
  337. Prof.Nerva: yeah, they drop
  338. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: yes lsf now
  339. Dietrich.Stuart: EVERYBODY RUN
  340. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: how many?
  341. Order|Michal.Golanski.: 10
  342. Prof.Nerva: Where do we meet?
  343. Dietrich.Stuart: Why am I always late to these things?
  344. Order|Michal.Golanski.: check your ammo
  345. Order|Michal.Golanski.: just in case
  346. Order|Michal.Golanski.: I've snatched some masacrous bounty
  347. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: i got 0
  348. Cloaking device off
  349. Order|Michal.Golanski.: I got 10 nemps, 30 gb remains, nightmare torpedoes, 2m in cards
  350. Prof.Nerva: The big ship had the remains.
  351. Prof.Nerva: Oh if only i was there :(
  352. Prof.Nerva: I could have gotten my cloak and jump drive :D
  353. Dietrich.Stuart: I have to go. See you peeps later.
  354. Prof.Nerva: Take care
  355. Prof.Nerva: May i have some remains for RP purposes?
  356. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: proff you can have my remains
  357. Prof.Nerva: Where do we meet?
  358. {ToI}Takamaghara: My escape pod has safely made it back to Nagano. Hope I didn't scare anyone into thinking I'd let that kill me.
  359. Order|Michal.Golanski.: I'd advise to wait for this to cool down. I rather choose safer vessel and safer location too
  360. Order|Michal.Golanski.: Northern Kusari
  361. Order|Michal.Golanski.: what say you?
  362. CONSOLE: This event made me realize that we really need to make jumpdrives a viable option again, without the limit. Even if it means removing the ability for transports to jump at all.
  363. If you are killed in a PvP fight, you are not allowed to re-engage the player or group of players that you were fighting any of your characters for 2 hours. Self-destruction during such fights also counts as a PvP death.
  364. Characters of a player who was killed in a PvP fight must not return into the same system for 2 hours. Check the server rules on the forums for the exceptions to this.
  365. CONSOLE: Otherwise it takes too long to get to a happening sort of place, daddy-o.
  366. Prof.Nerva: That's great for me. Norther Kusari then.
  367. Prof.Nerva: Taka, are you ok? Do i have to come after you?
  368. {ToI}Takamaghara: No, I'm alright thanks. I've borrowed another bomber.
  369. Prof.Nerva: Jumping to Tokyo
  370. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: following LNS out of kusari
  371. Prof.Nerva: Settan, i am in Tokyo
  372. Prof.Nerva: Take care there. You never knew with those guys.
  373. Order|Michal.Golanski: Is the capital Kyoto authorized as suitable place of meeting, Dragons?
  374. Order|Michal.Golanski: also, I need scans to verify what kind of loot the LSF got off with.
  375. Prof.Nerva: As a Zoner, I everywhere is ok for me.
  376. Order|Michal.Golanski: Is it possible to acquire those scans, Tears?
  377. {ToI}Takamaghara: Settan already has them. No NEMPS.
  378. Order|Michal.Golanski: Very well. I'll secure the stash.
  379. Order|Michal.Golanski: why did they killed you?
  380. {ToI}Huntari.Settan: Because i refused to stop following them
  381. Prof.Nerva: 10/10 liberty.
  382. {ToI}Takamaghara: Admiral, I understand that our communication may have been a bit one-sided thus far, but I may have a small request from you
  383. {ToI}Takamaghara: In the near future regarding my talks with the Professor here.
  384. {ToI}Takamaghara: We've been discussing the new Nomad technology that has been abducting ships, and are looking to research it and either enhance
  385. {ToI}Takamaghara: Jump drives, or even find a way to combat it.
  386. Preparing to cloak...
  387. Cloaking device shutdown, no fuel
  388. Cloaking device off
  389. Preparing to cloak...
  390. Cloaking device shutdown, no fuel
  391. Cloaking device off
  392. Prof.Nerva: Taka, may I take over from here? If you do not mind, of course.
  393. {ToI}Takamaghara: No problem.
  394. Order|Michal.Golanski: Arrived on Kyoto, waiting
  395. Prof.Nerva: Arriving to Kyoto in 25k.
  396. Prof.Nerva: Admiral are you aware about the new jump drives that certain Nomads seem to posses?
  397. /fi {toi}
  398. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: I suggest we meet at Jita
  399. Order|Michal.Golanski: what's Jita
  400. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Its an installation we set up a while back, its location isn't known by many, but. we trust the Order
  401. {ToI}Takamaghara: It's also where our resarch lab is located.
  402. {ToI}Takamaghara: Prof. How many nomad Remains do you think we require in total.
  403. {ToI}Takamaghara: I would expect the more the better.
  404. {ToI}Takamaghara: The nomad tech is surprisingly fragile.
  405. Order|Michal.Golanski: The Order cold storage has hundreds of them...
  406. Prof.Nerva: I do not know yet, but i think it will be better if we continue when everyone is at Kyoto base.
  407. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: yes, lets meet at Kyoto and move from there
  408. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: So, Michal, you said you have a stockpile in cold storage
  409. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Do you have any remains from battleship classed?
  410. Order|Michal.Golanski: Biological matter, limited samples of munitions, operated by The Order's R&D
  411. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Ah i see.
  412. Rules Tip: Do not disconnect from the server to escape player versus player interaction. Your ship will remain helpless in space for 2 minutes and you will not be able to reconnect during this time.
  413. Order|Michal.Golanski: Any size is kept and stored, allthough the fighter one does not concern us that much.
  414. Prof.Nerva: Now that we are here. I think we can start explaining our plan
  415. Prof.Nerva: May I proceed ?
  416. Order|Michal.Golanski: Lead towards the installation as you will. We'll talk on the way.
  417. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Form on me.
  418. {ToI}Takamaghara: Go ahead, I've arrived.
  419. Prof.Nerva: I guess I reintroduce myself. My name is Professor Nerva Regis. I am pleased to meet you Grand Admiral.
  420. {ToI}Takamaghara: And I am Yatoji Augus.
  421. Order|Michal.Golanski: For the introductionary purposes. Grand Admiral Michal Golanski, The Order Overwatch.
  422. Order|Michal.Golanski: I can see it from here.
  423. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Now you can, but this base has remained undetected for months,
  424. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: dispite KNF mass efforts
  425. {ToI}Takamaghara: We're quite proud.
  426. Order|Michal.Golanski: Yeah, though I do not perform fighter sweeps in Nagano regularly.
  427. Order|Michal.Golanski: It's still an achievment.
  428. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: doesn't even have a shield
  429. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Still standing,
  430. Order|Michal.Golanski: Very well, disengaging all combat subsystems and weapons. I rather not scratch it by accident.
  431. Prof.Nerva: A few days ago, while I was doing some research in Omicron-Kappa, I stumbled uppon a lost LSF "Atlantis" - class Carrier.
  432. Cloaking device off
  433. Order|Michal.Golanski: Sounds risky to perform such operations without a shield
  434. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Our shield is its location
  435. Order|Michal.Golanski: As you will.
  436. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: If it were detected we would cease operations here an relocate, with ease.
  437. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: we have even considered selling the station to allies
  438. Order|Michal.Golanski: I never spoke with the Proffesor here present. Is he your chief scientist?
  439. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: But still, Nerva, please continue
  440. {ToI}Takamaghara: Nerva is an independent scientist.
  441. {ToI}Takamaghara: Dr.Carl Memford is our chief scientist. I am his understudy.
  442. Prof.Nerva: You would imagine my reaction upon seeing an "Atlatins" -class carrier in Kappa.
  443. Order|Michal.Golanski: I am no scientist but I have read several works of my own people treating the Nomads specifically.
  444. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: please continue professor
  445. Order|Michal.Golanski: I've personally recorded guncam of Liberty Assalt Battlecruiser, an old model in Gallic border worlds.
  446. Order|Michal.Golanski: But please, continue.
  447. Prof.Nerva: When we encoutered the LSF carrier we were searching for survivors of the war that took place between the Core and Corsairs.
  448. Prof.Nerva: I was joined by Med Force Three and a AI.
  449. Prof.Nerva: We saw the carrier and we decided to flee to the closest base.
  450. Prof.Nerva: Fortunately, we were hailed and the Admiral on board told us they were abducted by Nomads.
  451. Order|Michal.Golanski: LSF generally operates very few battleship class assets, carriers included.
  452. Prof.Nerva: They were "jumped" two times. New York to Kusari and Kusari to Kappa.
  453. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: That's some serious distance.
  454. Prof.Nerva: It is, even for a Nomad jumpdrive.
  455. Order|Michal.Golanski: Sounds like jumps at random.
  456. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Agreed
  457. Order|Michal.Golanski: There's no agenda to warp off like that into seemingly unrelated locations.
  458. Prof.Nerva: Yes, it was what they reported. 100k from the center of the map.
  459. Prof.Nerva: We decided to help them go back to their house space.
  460. Prof.Nerva: We went throght the Sigmas - Kusari - Galileo.
  461. Prof.Nerva: In Kusari we met my friends, ToI and they helped me sneak around.
  462. Prof.Nerva: Now going to my main point.
  463. Prof.Nerva: It seems the ship managed to do some scanns of the event.
  464. Prof.Nerva: When they were being abducted.
  465. Prof.Nerva: I am stil waiting for them to send me those scans.
  466. Order|Michal.Golanski: LSF as shown in Honshu are not the co-operative bunch. They always have their own plans
  467. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: the last capital pilot we escorted home seemed friendlier
  468. {ToI}Takamaghara: Desperate times...
  469. Order|Michal.Golanski: If you say so... still, I do not trust Liberty Armed Forces.
  470. Prof.Nerva: I had a talk with ToI, and we thought that we could devise a plan to emprove the jump drives that we have.
  471. Prof.Nerva: Or, if possible even capture a sample.
  472. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Sorry to interrupt, a nomad sample?
  473. Prof.Nerva: A nomad remains sample.
  474. Prof.Nerva: My choice of words was not that fortunate.
  475. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: We have collected many, from that previous skirmish
  476. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: please scan my cargo and take what you need
  477. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: As long as that is okay with you Takamaghara
  478. Prof.Nerva: Unfortunately, not all nomads seemed to posses that type of jump drive.
  479. {ToI}Takamaghara: I allow it, It benefits us all.
  480. Tip: Armor Upgrades are permanent items which, when mounted, multiply your ship's base hitpoints. It is an essential item on any ship.
  481. Order|Michal.Golanski: Allow me to express my doubts... samples are generally destroyed on sight by my men and we generally dont permit it to be held
  482. Order|Michal.Golanski: outside of our allies. They have some value, but not for reverse engineering technology.
  483. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Your doubts are noted, I'm sure the Daimyo would be happy to discuss this with you further?
  484. {ToI}Takamaghara: Admiral Golanski, I feel as if this is something that needs to be researched to some degree.
  485. Order|Michal.Golanski: Undamaged samples notably are useful in the most popular method of crafting a functional cloaking device.
  486. Order|Michal.Golanski: Those "jump drives" of you speak, as you said are not fitted to every single Nomad asset.
  487. Order|Michal.Golanski: Even if they were, jumpdrives are not sturdy elements invulnerable to weapons fire and explosions.
  488. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: indeed, getting one would be near impossible
  489. Prof.Nerva: In that case, I would suggest a risky plan.
  490. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: go on
  491. Prof.Nerva: What if we could bait Nomads in abducting a ship that we prepared with the latest scanning equipment available.
  492. Order|Michal.Golanski: You will find no one mad enough among The Order to attempt such. They will fight and kick until the end.
  493. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Then the "bait" would be jumped days away from any help, surrounded by enemies
  494. Prof.Nerva: It seems they like isolating big ships and removing them from battle.
  495. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: One second,
  496. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: You mentioned you have an AI friend?
  497. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Perhaps that can be convinced to be bait,
  498. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: And with an AI on board you scanners can be controlled by him
  499. Prof.Nerva: Yes, I do. But I do not dare asking that of him yet.
  500. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: I seriously doubt that any man woman or God would even consider taking those risks
  501. Order|Michal.Golanski: Artificial Intelligence is generally incapable of interacting with Nomad in... satisfactionary means.
  502. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Well,
  503. Prof.Nerva: But, fortunately... we have me.
  504. Order|Michal.Golanski: My own men had rained fire and death upon the last Nomad contact that attempted this with them.
  505. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Okay.
  506. Prof.Nerva: I would risk my life for this atempt.
  507. {ToI}Takamaghara: You are either very brave, or very stupid.
  508. Order|Michal.Golanski: There's a fine line.
  509. {ToI}Takamaghara: From earlier, I'd say brave.
  510. CONSOLE: Possible cheating detected: [C]-CLN-Le.Temeraire
  511. Prof.Nerva: I'm on the line atm.
  512. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Well, he's a man of science, perhaps its simply curiosity
  513. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: But we all know what that did for the cat.
  514. Prof.Nerva: Curiosity killed the Professor..
  515. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Indeed,
  516. {ToI}Takamaghara: I get that itch as well.
  517. Prof.Nerva: We can try another plan. Trying to improve our existing tech,
  518. {ToI}Takamaghara: If you are willing to do this. I will speak to the Daimyo and see if we could support you.
  519. Prof.Nerva: Already had a brief talk, but no details were discussed.
  520. {ToI}Takamaghara: If you could you prepare a list via Neuro-net of the materials you require for this.
  521. Order|Michal.Golanski: It is rather weird trusting a proffesor I only met could literally be minutes ago. I preffer to know people closer.
  522. Order|Michal.Golanski: Especially if you intend to work with us.
  523. Prof.Nerva: I would do the same if I were in your place.
  524. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Indeed, perhaps we need a drink together?
  525. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: There's a nice bar in hokkaido
  526. {ToI}Takamaghara: I know the one. They do some great Whiskey.
  527. Order|Michal.Golanski: I know all bars in Hokkaido.
  528. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: GC run the show there, so there's pleanty of nice things to look at
  529. Order|Michal.Golanski: I will merely update this station's location on my map prior to moving.
  530. {ToI}Takamaghara: Hmmm. I'd rather not try my luck there.
  531. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: I've heard rumors Golanski, I've heard rumors!
  532. {ToI}Takamaghara: I feel as if those GC girls aren't worth the hassle. Bunch of Misandrists.
  533. Order|Michal.Golanski: They wont behead you with a katana if you wont try to get under their skirts uninvited.
  534. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Did you hear what Daimyo Kijima was talking about this morning?!
  535. Order|Michal.Golanski: They are peaceful bunch.
  536. Prof.Nerva: Grand Admiral, I usually I'm not a man of many words, and I've realised that maybe some results from my part would help.
  537. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: I overheard that he was thinking about banning us from docking at GC stations that sell Cardamine! Pfft as if we would ever go
  538. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: near that stuff is he mad?
  539. Prof.Nerva: I do not have a timeline, but if I manage to discover anythig, it will also be shared with the Order.
  540. {ToI}Takamaghara: Do you want to continue disrespecting the Daimyo.
  541. {ToI}Takamaghara: You're forgetting you're with a ranking officer.
  542. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Ah, yes, I forgot. My apologies
  543. Prof.Nerva: You are forgetting i;m the one that usually pays for sake...
  544. Order|Michal.Golanski: Elements in The Order are expected to talk in respectful manner when discussing allied, friendly and neutrals.
  545. Order|Michal.Golanski: No matter their beliefs.
  546. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Yes, my mistake, perhaps i am simply requiring something to drink
  547. {ToI}Takamaghara: Admiral Golanski, back to what we were discussing however. My intentions for researching this nomad tech are slightly different
  548. Order|Michal.Golanski: I will take the suggestion to visit the GC bar. Will your Daimyo feel insulsted if you joined?
  549. {ToI}Takamaghara: I feel that it is something too powerful to exist in the galaxy, and it would be worthwhile developing a way to stop it.
  550. Order|Michal.Golanski: Well then, what are your morals then.
  551. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: for now we are welcome there, but I don't think the prof has the right IDs
  552. Prof.Nerva: They do not really like zoners.
  553. Order|Michal.Golanski: It entirely depends whether they shower and are respectful, from what I heard.
  554. Order|Michal.Golanski: And trust me, I know a thing or two about GC>
  555. Order|Michal.Golanski: As for stopping Nomads...
  556. Order|Michal.Golanski: I've dedicated best years of my life to eradicate the threat.
  557. Order|Michal.Golanski: I've killed people who would want to stop me. I've lost people I cared about and I regret nothing of that.
  558. Order|Michal.Golanski: Because at the end of day if there's no Order, we are all dead.
  559. Prof.Nerva: Wise words.
  560. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Indeed, now what were you saying Takamaghara?
  561. {ToI}Takamaghara: Thanks, I was saying that even if we couldn't adapt this new Nomad tech into jump drives.
  562. {ToI}Takamaghara: I feel as if we need to find a way to stop this from being used against us.
  563. {ToI}Takamaghara: It's something much too powerful, especially if it gets into the wrong hands.
  564. Order|Michal.Golanski: Generously saying "field test" here but one of our gunboat commanders have disabled said drive with a disruptor.
  565. Order|Michal.Golanski: It could be a bluff, or overloading them with disruptors really works.
  566. Order|Michal.Golanski: Capital ship grade disruptor launcher was used, impacting Nomad vessel at distance of two klicks.
  567. {ToI}Takamaghara: I was mearly suggesting that it could be worth developing something dissimilar to reflective armor for capital sized ships.
  568. Prof.Nerva: I just got an idea. It might completely dumb, or genius.
  569. Tip: Exploration often is very rewarding. The game world has randomized, hidden bases that do not otherwise show up on your map. Find them and everything inside is yours to claim.
  570. Prof.Nerva: You are all familiar with cloak disruptors, right?
  571. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Hold on a second Nerva,
  572. Order|Michal.Golanski: I have one in my personal posession.
  573. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: ah please carry on
  574. Prof.Nerva: What if... let's say ... we would be able to make a jump drive disruptor?
  575. Order|Michal.Golanski: I would advise field-testing regular disruptors in the field, before we over-engineer something.
  576. Prof.Nerva: I agree, it was just an ideea that came to my mind.
  577. Prof.Nerva: Had to share it.
  578. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: The use of the word "we" suggests that you are in on this venture then Golanski?
  579. Order|Michal.Golanski: Gentlemen, this is day 1. The Order had known about it for couple days just like you.
  580. Order|Michal.Golanski: According to my operatives, a disruptor may just be a thing, if you know to time it right.
  581. Prof.Nerva: But you still have to time it. I doubt everyone has that kind of dexterity.
  582. Order|Michal.Golanski: Any active or passive defense technology that can be safely lended to the allies, will be, no matter its origin.
  583. Order|Michal.Golanski: Including something based on Nomad... tech.
  584. Prof.Nerva: At the end of the day, what we lack is information.
  585. Order|Michal.Golanski: There were two operatives who encountered this among The Order in person.
  586. Prof.Nerva: And, how did they handle it?
  587. {ToI}Takamaghara: Could I interview the order operatives that encountered this?
  588. Order|Michal.Golanski: They are both in Liberty space right now, debriefed by our Intelligence Division.
  589. Order|Michal.Golanski: Encounter happened in Omega 55 star system, during transit.
  590. Prof.Nerva: Glad to hear they are safe.
  591. Order|Michal.Golanski: They had managed to overpower threat and have one Nomad unnaccounted for. Likely jumped out.
  592. Order|Michal.Golanski: Their names are... Colonel Webb and Lieutenant Commander Mitchell
  593. Order|Michal.Golanski: Both serve directly in The Order Black Fleet.
  594. {ToI}Takamaghara: Would I be allowed to speak to them about this encounter via Neuro-Net?
  595. {ToI}Kaze.No.Arashi: Docking will be back shortly
  596. Order|Michal.Golanski: You have my authorization to talk with them as part of ongoing investigation. Be aware that tactical details may be classified.
  597. Order|Michal.Golanski: However capabilities and behaviour of Nomad entities is not.
  598. {ToI}Takamaghara: Thank you admiral.
  599. Order|Michal.Golanski: Aka, the most relevant data.
  600. {ToI}Takamaghara: Is there anything else you would like to discuss while you're here?
  601. Order|Michal.Golanski: Would you possibly co-operate with third corner of our "triangle", Dragon?
  602. Order|Michal.Golanski: The Order were not the only ones.
  603. {ToI}Takamaghara: Of course. Information is valuable, no matter who from.
  604. Order|Michal.Golanski: As per "Sigma Treaty", the third part of our little family may posess some visual data. We can enact it again.
  605. Order|Michal.Golanski: You know well who.
  606. {ToI}Takamaghara: Of course, I can contact them as well.
  607. Order|Michal.Golanski: There are appropriate comms to contact all of us three via Sigma's protocol.
  608. Order|Michal.Golanski: Do so, and I will reach out to officers in question to join in with their testimonies.
