  1. Players start with a weak, short range beam weapon, bombs that can be thrown with the reload key, and can switch to missiles, though at first missile capacity is low. This can be expanded by picking up missile tanks, and the beam weapon can be augmented as well.

  3. Weapon spawns are replaced with upgrades to augment the player's abilities:

  5. Chainsaw: Bomb power up, players can now hold reload to charge up a throw to launch the bomb at greater distances

  7. Shotgun: long beam, players finally have a beam with some reach, slightly more damage

  9. super shotgun: ice beam, augments standard beam further, enhanced damage and causes freezing explosive kills, beam now consumes shells, when out of ammo, normal long beam shots are used

  11. Chaingun: wave beam, unlocks the wave beam as an altfire when armed with standard beam gun, does more damage than normal beam shots, consumes bullet tier ammo and has autofire

  13. Rocket launcher: Missile pack, increases the amount of missiles player can carry

  15. Plasma gun: plasma beam, grants a power ripper beam for the altfire of the missile weapon, powerful but lacks the range of the other beam types, uses cell ammo

  17. BFG: Screw attack, pressing zoom will throw the player forward in an arcing jump, emitting mini explosions dealing a shitload of damage to enemies. Has a cooldown, using in the air will grant a double jump, firing any weapons will cancel the attack.

  21. Berserk: Spazer, for the duration of the stage, your beam based weapons are tripled

  23. health and armor bonuses remain the same function wise.

  25. green/blue armor: varia and gravity suits, aesthetic change mainly, as long as the player has some form of armor equipped, player is given immunity to damage floors

  27. Radsuit: shielding boost, grants 50+ armor to repair current armor player may have equipped, to keep them safe in damage floor areas.

  29. soul sphere: Energy tank, 100+ hp on the spot

  31. Megasphere remains the same
