(7:56:02 PM) ***Q-33_North has ended up kind of aimlessly wandering the halls of the mobile hospital, a little unsure of what to do with herself.
(7:58:51 PM) Ikiryo: The Sisters are polite...but they don't really have much she can help with. She's not medically trained, for one.
(7:59:24 PM) ***Q-33_North just sort of ends up in a waiting room.
(8:02:00 PM) Ikiryo: It's a little while but she spots Hana heading out of an examination room. Hana is right now tall, curvy woman with rich chocolate skin. Her usual cracks in her skin have become red tattoos that are rather visible concidering she's wearing short shorts and a gauzy top over a bikini top.
(8:02:00 PM) Ikiryo: She has rather a lot of gold jewelery on, ear piercings and a lip piercing and a gold choker. Sadly none of her previous outfits on the ship fit her any more so she's stuck with it.
(8:02:57 PM) ***Q-33_North waves to her.
(8:04:15 PM) Ikiryo: Her large, plump lips are turned down in a frown as she waves back.
(8:04:32 PM) ***Q-33_North stands up and walks over to her.  "What's wrong?"
(8:06:12 PM) Ikiryo: She sighs. "...can we go get something to eat?"
(8:06:26 PM) Q-33_North: "Sure.  Where's the cafeteria?"
(8:07:50 PM) Ikiryo: "...I'm not sure." She shakes her head.
(8:08:25 PM) ***Q-33_North calls stops by an information area to check out the map.  There's always a map.
(8:10:08 PM) Ikiryo: There is. It helps to have a map. This one is very well layed out. Hospital rooms, transformation gears, cafeteria, external capital defibrillators.
(8:10:56 PM) ***Q-33_North leads the way.  "Found it."
(8:12:40 PM) Ikiryo: It's easy to find the large, clean cafeteria. It looks the least likely to drug a person place Q-33 has seen since she arrived on the planet. Hana takes a seat with a sigh.
(8:13:12 PM) ***Q-33_North sits across from her.  "So, what's wrong?"
(8:14:08 PM) Ikiryo: "...they said they can't cure me." She taps away at an AR display...making a small order.
(8:17:38 PM) Q-33_North: ". . . aw jeez, really, why not?" She orders something at random.
(8:22:13 PM) Ikiryo: She soon gets delivered a small apple pie. It doesn't smell as delicious as some she's had in sigil but it's very clearly healthy and untainted by this planet. "Treating Genasi is hard at the best of times due to the whole elemental thing...and my body keeps burning up the spells they are trying to use to revert it."
(8:25:51 PM) Q-33_North: "I would ask if I could help by cooling you down but this sounds like one of those magic as metaphors things that I have trouble with."
(8:27:19 PM) Ikiryo: She nods. "More or less, yes. The goop stuff...it's a nasty trick. Do you know the theory of personal patterns? It's a magical theory so I'm guessing not?"
(8:28:42 PM) Q-33_North: "Not really no.  I think that might have been on the curriculum but. . ." She trails off, not really feeling the need to finish the thought.
(8:32:29 PM) Ikiryo: "Basicly, the idea is why transmutation magic rarely lasts very long. It takes constant, sustained magic in order to keep someone's form changed as the body fights against an unnatural form being placed on it." She pauses. "Cases like Uytana being an exception as she seemed to like her new form better than her old one."
(8:35:01 PM) Q-33_North: "Right."
(8:41:00 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, in this case they apparently decided to make that living spell with bastard spells full of bastard magic." She digs into her own pie. "It's messed with what my body thinks it should look like...so it keeps resisting the curing magic."
(8:41:43 PM) ***Q-33_North winces.  "Ouch.  You going to be okay?"
(8:43:35 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, they said I...most likely...won't get any worse." She doesn't sound happy about the 'most likely'.
(8:45:54 PM) ***Q-33_North reaches out to place a hand comfortingly on her friend's.  "Hey. Look, you'll get better.  Worse case scenario you have to come with me and Tathir on a whirlwind tour of all the best most state of the art medical facilities that exist.  It can't be permanent."
(8:47:09 PM) Ikiryo: "Unless it sinks into my brain and I decide to try to be a stripper or something." She gives a hint of a smile.
(8:47:36 PM) Q-33_North: "Hey.  We've fixed that before." She pouts a little.
(8:48:51 PM) Ikiryo: "I know. You know what? That's really sad. That this isn't just a problem but a recurring one. Some sick bastard in the heavens must be enjoying that."
(8:52:11 PM) Q-33_North: "Yeah well, after we're done here we can put that person at. . . Well I'd like to say number one on my hitlist but being honest it'd probably be 3-4.  Maybe 5."
(8:52:49 PM) Ikiryo: "Maybe we're being haunted by the porny ghost of that guy you spaced over the needle thing."
(8:53:32 PM) Q-33_North: "Nah, our resident death expert would have given him a swirly in the magic death river."
(8:55:47 PM) Ikiryo: "Point taken." She nods. "I just...I dunno, I liked how I looked before. Unlike Uytana I didn't have any body issues. I wasn't the prettiest but I liked me."
(8:58:37 PM) Q-33_North: "Welcome to me, two months ago.  The difference is you didn't literally ask someone to do it.  PLus, you didn't get mind whammied.  You're already doing better than me."
(8:58:58 PM) Ikiryo: "...wait, you asked someone to do it?"
(9:04:46 PM) Q-33_North: "For a good reason!  Tathir got needled, and it was partially my fault.  This was before she really got to know us so she was still shouty and swearing all the time.  But I don't think she trusted me to find a cure even though I wanted to.  So I decided to take a risk, and let her stab me so she didn't have to trust me to get her a cure, because I'd need one.  I took a risk, and it paid off."
(9:05:51 PM) ***Q-33_North stares down at the table.  She looks angry again for a second before taking a deep breath and calming herself down.
(9:06:02 PM) Ikiryo: She reaches out, putting a hand on Q-33's shoulder.
(9:07:05 PM) ***Q-33_North looks up.  "Thanks, again."
(9:08:16 PM) Ikiryo: She shrugs, doing interesting things to her bust. "I'm not doing much. I mean, I'm the one here complaining."
(9:10:52 PM) Q-33_North: "I was going to say that it's nice to get to listen to someone else's problems, even if it's just a distraction from my own, but I think we both know that's basically all I do lately."  She laughs a little.  "Even the kitten knows I'm a sucker.  But.  This shouldn't be about me.  Hana, look, like I said.  We'll get you all fixed up, by hook or by crook."

(9:12:34 PM) Q-33_North: "Oh what no, I more meant like.  I go kidnap some of the world's leading hexbreakers."

(9:14:05 PM) Q-33_North: "I mean sure if you want to take all the fun out of it.  I was going to call it a surprise working vacation."

(9:15:11 PM) Ikiryo: "That's because you are a pirate. Do I look like a pirate?" Maybe Adelinda's mum.
(9:16:10 PM) Q-33_North: "You haven't seen Empress Stingray have you."

(9:16:47 PM) ***Q-33_North forwards her Empress Stingray's business card.

(9:21:30 PM) ***Q-33_North sighs.  "I'm also really worried because she normally wants to hit on me but now apparently wants to teach me proper "management" techniques.  Because she thinks I have a crew instead of a group of loveable goofs I sometimes share a ship with."

(10:07:52 PM) Ikiryo: "Maybe Adelinda wants it." She shrugs, sending her bust jiggling. "But seriously...thanks."

(10:27:21 PM) Q-33_North: "No I blew up the holding cells.  I mean the whole damn building."

(10:29:04 PM) Q-33_North: "Yeah well this'll be a scenario where you get to cause as much property damage as your molten heart pleases."
(10:29:34 PM) Q-33_North: ". . . Is your heart actually molten I thought that would be a good turn of phrase but I don't know either way."
(10:30:40 PM) Ikiryo: "Depends on the situation. How much of me is fire and stone depends on my mood. Right now, it's mostly pretty molten. My emotions are rather heightened."
(10:31:32 PM) Q-33_North: "Well there you go.  You'll get to go vent some of your frustrations on the tower,  KNowing our luck we'll run into the fuckboy who made that spell."

(10:35:05 PM) Q-33_North: "I mean, yes? He's got this whole dashing swordsman aesthtic that like, it works, but I'm not the target audience.  I make a piss poor damsel in distress."

(10:39:35 PM) ***Q-33_North shrugs.  "I dunno.  Not that, I don't think? Maybe there's something else going on and that'll change but right now he's just a guy on the other side with a good head on his shoulders who went way easy on me so I could escape with a re-education AI I made friends with.  I'm really picky with who I sleep with when I'm in my right mind."

(10:44:49 PM) Ikiryo: "Yeah, I spoke to said AI. She suggested I pass on the bikini top." Said top being the only thing keeping her bust decent.
(10:46:34 PM) Q-33_North: "Yeah well.  She was programmed by Excess and I didn't feel comfortable wiping her to tabula rasa."
(10:46:57 PM) Ikiryo: "Right. She doesn't have camera access into rooms, does she?"
(10:48:14 PM) Q-33_North: "It automatically shuts off when people are doing their private business.  It always did that, because I get those video logs.  Like, passively.  And I don't want that."
