just to be clear, he did do this last night? cause the outcome would definitely affect her mood etc today. like she might have been angry and drunk enough to give his ring back cause she was already real fired up before she would have found him waiting up for her. even if we plot it we can definitely still write out exactly what happened, i just don't wanna have her do things then have to back track like just kidding, it didn't happen that way.

ugh sorry i was trash and fell asleep at my computer. but yeah he would’ve just been waiting for her in silence really and when she got home he wouldn’t have acknowledged the obvious like why the f are you here but just kind of sat there with a shrug as in what’s all this. he’s more on an exhausted confused level that he would not have been mean or freaked out but i think just sit there for a good long minute and just lean forward rubbing his face trying to figure out wtf is going on

so he’d definitely take a couple of seconds if that and stop kind of abruptly, standing and backing away like she was some kind of fire that was burning him and he needed to get away. he’d close his eyes and attempt to breathe, open them and hold her gaze if she let him for a second before turning away. he’d head for the door almost rushed, definitely broken and upset but he’s trying to get it together. clearly he has issues doing that on his own given his history. nearing the door he would definitely pull his (uncased lol) iphone out of his pocket and drop it in a vase of water. in his head he’s going rogue and would open the door to leave.
