My new girlfriend, Yuri! Chapter 1

Chapter 1

     The festival ended up being quite fun, and looking at our club room you could see all the work that Yuri and I put into it. Neither of us were too into the whole presenting poems thing but we did it anyways and a lot of people ended up liking our poems, I’d be surprised if we don’t manage to pull in a new club member between the cupcakes, poems, and atmosphere.
     “Hey, Yuri, do you have any idea on what clubs we should check out next.” You always had to prompt her into telling you things as she wasn’t one to talk on her own.
     “Um, we can look at whatever clubs you’re interested in...”
     “C’mon, Yuri, I know you actually have opinions. You rarely share any of them with others but I want to know your opinions.” What was meant to simply be a convincing or prodding sentence turned into a more lovey-dovey ‘I want to get to know you more’ statement. Not that there was anything wrong with that, it wasn’t like you were trying to hide your feelings for Yuri or anything.
     “Um... u-umm....” As Yuris face reddens you realize that you only made it harder to speak up, once again her actions have shown how she has a crush on you.
     “Yuri?”
     “I-I... I want to check out the gardening club, as well the dream club. Gardening is a very relaxing and meditative hobby from what I’ve heard, and dream interpretations and meanings fascinate me.” Yuri always has a hard time talking but once she opens her mouth her words tend to just flow out. “B-but, we can go to whatever club you feel like going to, anon.”

     Either way, you and Yuri both had a pretty fun time at the festival. You looked at all sorts of various activities and clubs, you guys ate whatever snacks were out for the clubs, you got to listen to some live music from the music club and guitar club, just tons of fun school festival activities like that.
During that night, though, something special happened...
“U-um, Anon?”
“Wh-what is it Yuri?”
“I-I... I...”
“Yuri?”
“I-I think I’m in love with you.” Those last words were barely a whisper. Who knew that such small sounds could be so strong?
“Yuri,”
“Yes?” She panicked, unsure of how you would respond.
“I think I love you too Yuri...” You slowly reach out for her hand. Yuri notices this and hesitates before grabbing your hand.
“We’ve only known each other for a few days, but I’m still completely enamored wigh you...” Yuris face seems to be getting closer.
“I know what you mean...” You look into her purple eyes.
You both know where this is going but that doesn’t stop the two of you from being nervous. You lean in and wrap your arms around Yuri as you two kiss. You swear you can both hear the fireworks going off in each others heads.
You’re both content just sitting there with each other without saying anything for a while.
“So, anon...”
“What is it, Yuri?” You can faintly see her blush in the dark lighting of the twilight.
“C-can I come home with you?”
