Never much cared for anything those guys put out. The voice actors seem enthusiastic but the likes of Paranoid DJ and Laz Briar do much better impressions of the characters.

I could give less of a rats ass about the voice actors, but I agree with you. It just happens to be sickeningly inoffensive, fluffy trash that sadly seems to be all to common with hazbin hotel fanworks. It just feels like im watching a romantic Yaoi manga with a demonic coat of paint slapped on.

Paranoid DJ is legitimately a Spielberg level voice actor. He's incredible and he doesn't just work on voices. He does sound effects. Which adds to the environment. Almost like ASMR.

They have a good Stolas VA. He's actually wholesome and they have a better Blitzø compared to paranoid. Paranoid does have a great Stolas though that he does.

Yeah leaning heavily into fluff seems to be pretty common for Hazbin fans (not denying that I've written my fair share of mindless wish fulfillment fluff), but I wouldn't mind that much if it was in the form of a really spot-on impression. I feel bad trashing them since they don't come off as sleezy and cashgrabby like those guys who make "joke" episodes of whatever is next in line for easy clicks by people who don't know any better; they seem like they're genuinely excited for the show, but the content just doesn't do a lot for me.

Yeah they're great. Spindlehorse should really consider trying to get them onboard for at least one character's voice. If they can get all these namedrop-worthy guys who have no real vested interest in the project for their shows then surely they could get a quality youtuber with serious enthusiasm for the franchise on board.

I really dig his Val. It's unexpected, not a selection from the usual roster of "pimp voices", menacing but not glaring or over the top.

He also portraya Val as a smooth talker. As he is able to even upset Stolas enough to almost get sexual with him in Cinders. Val is weaker than Alastor, which was hinted by Viv, so the idea is most comics people make, is he's weaker physically. But he has a wide array of people he knows and has connections as far as lucifier almost. He's a king in the mafia wop world. He can even talk down to Stolas. He's a Pimp, a boss and a terrible person.

This is true. But I think it's the conveying that he has a elusive way with words and such connections he even scares demon born. Tbh though like Alastor has become so OP that Viv even said Lucifer was a little taken back by how insanely powerful he was when he exploded over being murdered
