  1. GRAND THEFT AUTO: SCENE 31: THE ENDING
  2.
  3. (And yes, hyperspace is now officially called "Super Speed" going forward.)
  4.
  5. GENERAL ROMODI: Do you want to start targeting their fleet?
  6.
  7. DARKIN: Vader will deal with the fleet. Aiming at Scarlett star base, igniting the reactor.
  8.
  9. GENERAL ROMODI: Yes.
  10.
  11. Piano Prince and Cassian Andorra drag themselves into the elevator.
  12.
  13. PIANO PRINCE: Time to go.
  14.
  15. They spend a long time staring in each other's eyes on the way down. Quincy Kunnick wakes up to see his Station Wagon staring down at him from the sky with its one eye, still as beautiful as ever.
  16.
  17. DARKIN: Ready to launch.
  18.
  19. Our heroes leave the tower. The battlefield is quiet and empty now. All that remains are the bodies of the combatants.
  20.
  21. IMPERIAL OPERATOR: Start the initial lighting program.
  22.
  23. Rian Johnson covers his face as the green energy beam passes by. It hits the horizon after passing right through the top of the tower, immediately vaporizing Quincy Kunnick.
  24.
  25. (Say what you want about Tarkin, but his targeting accuracy is IMMACULATE!)
  26.
  27. Admiral Radus sees the explosion on the surface, and understands what's about to happen with the Imperial base. His words are of great respect.
  28.
  29. ADMIRAL RADUS: Grand Theft Auto, willing to force the same with you.
  30.
  31. He knows that it's time to leave, and gives the order to his crew.
  32.
  33. ADMIRAL RADUS: All ships are ready to leap into space.
  34.
  35. The ships start going into super space... only to be intercepted by another Destroyer Destroyer. Lord Bader has entered the scene.
  36.
  37. Down on Scarlett, our heroes sit down on the beach and stare at the explosion. It looks just like a rising sun, but it's getting closer.
  38.
  39. CASSIAN ANDORRA: Your father will be proud of you.
  40.
  41. Content in their fate, they just sit there and hold hands. Perhaps they are about to meet her father again, after all.
  42.
  43. Lord Bader's Captain - Shaef Corssin - comes to give him a status report. (And no, this guy was never in the Original Trilogy. He just REALLY looks the part somehow.)
  44.
  45. CAPTAIN CORSSIN: Rebel flagship damaged, ministers. But has received data from the surface.
  46.
  47. LORD BADER: Called a boarding team.
  48.
  49. CAPTAIN CORSSIN: Yes, minister.
  50.
  51. Our heroes hug each other tightly as they're engulfed by the bright light. Now, they truly are stardust.
  52.
  53. The Imperial boarding team approach the Rebel flagship. The Rebel soldiers have finished downloading the plans onto a disc and prepare for an immediate evacuation.
  54.
  55. REBEL: Hurry!
  56.
  57. REBEL: Move fast, go immediately!
  58.
  59. REBEL: Hurry!
  60.
  61. REBEL: Fast action.
  62.
  63. REBEL: Hurry!
  64.
  65. They reach a blast door, but can't open it. They are now trapped in a dark corridor.
  66.
  67. REBEL: its stuck!
  68.
  69. REBEL: yes?!
  70.
  71. REBEL: Help me!
  72.
  73. The infamous breathing sound is heard, and a red lightsaber is activated. Lord Bader has entered the ship, and he wants the plans.
  74.
  75. REBEL: Fire!
  76.
  77. They try to shoot him, but he manages to deflect all of their blaster shots. Several are killed by their own ammunition. The Rebel closest to the door bangs on it franctically.
  78.
  79. REBEL: Save us!
  80.
  81. Bader lifts one of the Rebels to the roof and cuts him open.
  82.
  83. REBEL: The door was stuck!
  84.
  85. REBEL: Pull!
  86.
  87. Only four Rebels are still fighting. Bader takes all their guns in a single swoop, then cuts them down one by one.
  88.
  89. REBEL: Pull!
  90.
  91. Bader chokes out the second to last rebel and throws his corpse into the wall.
  92.
  93. REBEL: They provide a very! Quick grab one!
  94.
  95. The Rebel manages to hand over the plans to a fellow soldier before Bader impales him. This Rebel runs onto the escape vehicle, guarded by three more gunmen. Bader quickly cuts them down.
  96.
  97. REBEL: take off!!!
  98.
  99. The Tantive IV takes off at the last minute. Bader and the (utterly useless) ST ER ORMTROOPs watch the ship leave the hangar, his cape blowing in the strangely present wind.
  100.
  101. (Overall, a pretty solid recreation of that bonus mission from LEGO Star Wars.)
  102.
  103. The captain of the ship - This Within - gives some orders to his soldiers, who are rushing to their stations (and will, presumably, rush BACK to defend the entrance in time for the next film.)
  104.
  105. THIS WITHIN CAPTAIN: Be sure to lock the airlock and prepare the escape capsule!
  106.
  107. He walks into the control room where a young woman dressed in white is waiting. (Now it's time to reenact the opening from LEGO Star Wars 2.)
  108.
  109. (No, seriously. They did this exact scene years before any other Star Wars movie did!)
  110.
  111. This Within Captain looks at the plans, confounded.
  112.
  113. THIS WITHIN CAPTAIN: Your Highness, We receive the transmission data. What do they send to us?
  114.
  115. Princess Leah - or a decent facsimile of her, at least (unpopular opinion, I actually think she looks better than Tarkin) -
  116. takes the disk from his hand and then turns towards the camera, looking ahead toward the starry sky.
  117.
  118. PRINCESS LEAH: hope.
  119.
  120. (And here's a personal story. I elected to see this movie on the premiere, in the cinema. Little did I know that I would become one of the only people to watch it before the passing of Carrie Fisher days later.)
  121.
  122. (The Force will be with you, always.)
  123.
  124. THE END.
